Dr. Shanon Holcomb graduated from Delaware in 1993. Shortly after that he and his soon to be wife, Melissa, traveled to Iowa to attend Palmer College of Chiropractic. He graduated in February of 1997. Since that time he has practiced in Philadelphia, Reading, Lancaster, Pittsburgh and finally Carlisle. During the past 24 years he and Melissa have had 3 children and a dog. The Office: Holcomb Chiropractic Center was started in May of 1999. Since that time we have helped thousands of people from Carlisle and the surrounding area.

If you have questions about what Chiropractic can do for a condition not listed or not discussed, please ask. In many cases, damage caused by disease can be permanent and/or irreversible. Research, however, continues to reveal the ability of Chiropractic to slow the progression of many diseases, such as osteoarthritis.
To all of our new potential patients, we invite you to participate in our free spinal screening. This visit will give you many opportunities including: talking one on one with the doctor and discussing the best course of action for your specific needs. At this time, we will make a copy of your photo ID and any insurance cards. We do this so we can check on your chiropractic coverage before you become financially responsible for anything.
Our goal is to make using your insurance as easy as possible. We simply copy your ID card and call to verify your insurance coverage for you. We will go over your benefits with you, that way there are no surprises. Patients are responsible for their co-pays and deductibles. If your insurance should change or become terminated it is the responsibility of the patient to inform us of this change.

Today's doctor of chiropractic examines, diagnoses, and treats complaints of the neuromusculoskeletal system.

For almost a year prior to coming to Shannon I struggled with headaches around the same time daily, shoulder pain and numbness in my arms, hands and fingers. I had MRI's done, I had multiple different medications as the headaches made me feel sick to my stomach or I would need to sleep them off, and the shoulder pain could bring me to tears. My boss at the time recommended a chiropractor and I was in my mind like yea right! Shannon is personable, beyond knowledgeable, thorough, helpful, accommodating, and genuine in what he does! Shannon was the first person to even be able to help me AND found that I had what amounted to a whip lash injury and I was completely out of alignment (also informed me they read x rays different then drs do) Almost a year later I had an issue with my insurance company and I went as far as to fight them to find out why because it has simply been the absolute best thing I have ever done for my body!
I only didn't go for 2 months with the issue with my insurance and I can already see EVERYTHING slowly coming back and I don't feel right at all! I am finally heading back and I couldn't be happier! My point is if your considering, or have any of these issues DO IT! 110%! Even my kiddos enjoyed going here and they are under 10, not to mention their staff does really well with children!
