Borer Family Chiropractic

The biggest thing I love about this office is that they do gentle adjustments with a little "gun" instead of aggressive adjustments where they twist you up and press on you. I had success in just a few appointments and I no longer need adjustments for the time being! I also love the family owned business feel. They're great!

After several months of suffering from severe sciatic nerve pain that terribly affected my life, I became very frustrated. Several medications that I tried, did not help at all. At the same time, I started my dream job and was worried about my abilities to perform it because of constant pain. By recommendation of my friend, I came to Borer Family Chiropractic. Dr. Rob Borer is amazing!

He did a thorough assessment and started my treatment. After only two treatments, my terrible pain is almost gone! I am so happy and thankful to Dr. Rob! I highly, highly recommend Borer Family Chiropractic.

I am 47 and doing several sports (MTB, XC skiing, kayak, etc.) but recently I was having issues with my left leg falling asleep just after 20 minutes of paddling my kayak and a general reduction in mobility in the other sports as well. I felt almost like I could not "push" myself the way I was used to. After an in-depth consultation, Dr Rob made a plan of attack and sure enough, in a couple of months or so, I could move again the way I wanted.

Now I can stretch fully and can paddle for over an hour before I get sore :-) and NO MORE DEAD LEGS! The environment at Borer chiropractic is relaxed, welcoming, and the staff is very respectful. The thing that is most important is that they are not out there trying to get your money, no long-term contracts to be signed, and at the end, when Dr Rob fixed my issue, I was told I didn't need any more adjustments and I was good to go!

I think will still be in touch though and I plan to go every now and then to make sure everything is ok. BTW, in my case there was no aggressive popping and pulling or cracking. Bravo!

Extremely disappointed to find out that Dr Borer is a covid denier. I don't feel that the clinic is a safe place during the pandemic, and I'm furious with myself for not doing better research before my first visit, since it means I'll have to go through the intake process somewhere else. I also just realized that their website promises "$87 DOLLARS FLAT RATE FOR CONSULTATION, ADJUSTMENT, EXAMINATION AND X-RAY IF NEEDED".

They did the exam and X-ray but had me schedule a different appointment for adjustment, and said that would be $40-something dollars. Edit: Just so that we're clear, it wasn't the lack of masks at the office that make me think Borer is a covid denier (though every other medical professional I saw over the summer was still wearing them) it was a series of social media posts that were forwarded to me by someone familiar with him - articles from right-wing propaganda sites about how masks don't work and covid numbers are fake, among other egregious Trump-train material.

Dr Rob and his staff are the best, I was a new patient and came in with much pain and could barely walk or stand up without feeling some strain in my lower back. He assessed my situation in my back and got me back walking running and playing basketball again! Thanks Dr Rob! Definitely would recommend them to anyone in need

They don't wear masks, don't require patients to wear masks, and during a recent visit (also my final visit), I overheard Dr. Rob trying to push his political views on clients. Those of you that are anti-mask and anti-Whitmer will love this sort of behavior and will probably go here just because of this review. Those of you concerned with safety and uninterested in discussing politics at a chiropractic appointment, find a different practice! 3 stars instead of 1 because, to be fair, Dr. Rob has provided back pain relief over the years.

I came to Dr Rob Borer with a numb hand, elbow and shoulder with severe pain in my upper back and neck. Four weeks later I was back in motion and 8 weeks later I'm entirely pain free with no numbness. I was initially unfamiliar with the techniques that Dr Borer used, which include temperature analytics, X-ray imaging and activator adjustments combined with his experienced observations of my body. I'm very impressed with the results and approach and continue to see him periodically. The office is very homey and comfortable. I highly recommend Borer Chiropractic.

I went to Borer Chiropractic after injuring my back at the gym. After one session with Dr. Borer, my condition improved significantly and less than one week later I was able to jump back in to my active lifestyle. Dr. Borer holistically assessed and treated my injury, and I know I would not have had such a swift recovery had I not received such excellent chiropractic care. I have found Borer Family Chiropractic to be very friendly and helpful, with availability to fit my schedule. I feel that Dr. Rob provides a thorough exam each and every time I visit. I also appreciate that there is no push for additional services or products that I do not need/want. My back/leg pain was resolved in a timely manner and I will continue to make monthly wellness visits. Thank you Dr. Rob!

Dr. Rob has, quite literally, fixed me many times. Most recently, he has been working on me after I had a bad trip and fall on uneven pavement that left me with an excruciating "knot" in my back that prevented me from being able to bend at the waist and/or extend my arm out in front of me, I also could not sit or stand for long periods of time without severe pain. Dr. Rob has been able to correct this painful problem.

He is very thorough. In addition to his excellent skill and talent as a doctor of Chiropractic practice, Dr. Rob is professional, kind, sincere and compassionate. For a couple of years, when I would drive for long distances I would experience sciatica in my right leg. Then last summer I took a spill down a flight of stairs and started to experience occasional numbness in my left hand and headaches almost every day. As the problem started to occur more often, I realized that the position of my neck could make the numbness start and by straightening my neck I could make the numbness stop.

My boyfriend, who has been a patient at Borer Family Chiropractic for several years, recommended that I go for an evaluation to see if chiropractic care could help me with the pain and discomfort I was experiencing. I am so glad that I took that advice. I was impressed by Dr. Rob's professionalism and the precise tests that he used to measure the alignment of my spine.

These tests revealed that my C1 was definitely out of alignment. This was the first time I had received chiropractic care and I was a little nervous about being adjusted. But after Dr. Rob took the time to explain the course of treatment that I needed and the procedure he would use to adjust my neck, I was confident that I was putting myself in good hands.

When my first low-impact and painless adjustment was done, I thought to myself, it doesn't feel like he did anything to my neck, how is that going to help me? Well let me tell you how it helped me, from the day of that first adjustment my pain and discomfort went away. I haven't experienced any numbness in my hand, had a headache or had an episode of sciatica since then. I am so happy that I found Borer Family Chiropractic and I recommend that anyone experiencing back or neck pain see Dr. Rob or Dr. Sherri.

Started using Borer Chiropractic through a Groupon I had purchased, and honestly wasn't expecting such amazing results! I figured I'd get a quick crack crack, and mediocre massage out of the deal. HOWEVER, Dr. Borer was amazingly thorough, and took his time evaluating everything from my posture, my past history, my x-rays etc. It wasn't like other chiros I had visited in the past who got me in and out in 15 minutes.

He really took his time to pin-point the problem and focused solely on that area. I felt results almost immediately, and after just a short time of visits felt I no longer needed treatment! Not only is Dr. Borer great, but his massage therapist Amanda gave the absolute best massage I've ever gotten (I've had alot)! This chick is tough, and I left feeling sooooo relaxed.

If you're into a deep tissue type massage she is your girl! If my back ever goes back to hurting like it was before I would definitely make the trip back to Saline without question!

Dr. Rob Borer is AMAZING!. I found Dr. Rob unexpectedly and of course, was skeptical. From my first visit, I knew he was a different chiropractor then I've experienced. He actually listened and made a plan for how he was going to achieve me becoming pain free! After the first week I already noticed a difference. After a few months I felt 50% better!
