After attending graduate school in New York, Dr. DeMaio decided to be close to home where he grew up.

I had an interest in chiropractic for a long time and often thought about chiropractic care as a career. As a doctor, it provides gratification to help a patient in pain regain their mobility and be absent of the pain that they found to be life limiting. Often, this can occur with a single treatment.

I have been going to see Dr. Oz for almost 6 months now with great results. I recently started learning about Chiropractic Care, truly believe in it, and think it is vital to good long term health. Dr. Oz is excellent and compassionate; has genuine concern with my issues and health. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a way to better health.
As per the the team at the Office, from the time I enter to when I leave my care is always well organized, professional, and at the same time a friendly and warming atmosphere. Everyone is very helpful and is willing to answer all my questions. Thank you.

I have come to DeMaio Family Chiropractic four times for adjustments and each of the chiropractors have provided a fantastic experience. Prior to my adjustments they use STIM and heat, which made the adjustments much better. This will definitely be my go-to place for chiropractic adjustment in the future.

On 3 separate occasions, over a 9 month period of getting services from them, i was sent bills even though my insurance covers it. On all 3 occasions, i called the office, to make sure there wasn't a mistake, and all 3 times they told me i shouldn't be getting bills, and to not worry about them, because on my account it says it is covered. It wasn't until the 4th time i called after getting a letter threatening to take me to collections, that they suddenly told me that i was responsible for extra charges.
I haven't returned ever since. Terrible business practice. Edit: 11/19/20 Since they tried to reply in the most elegant and innocent manner, I'd like to remind everyone that their reply is non sense. They were not updating anyone on the insurance coverage. They never made aware to me what so ever i was not covered, until a year and 4 attempts later.
I'll repeat, they did the opposite. As soon as they made aware insurance wasn't covering, i stopped seeing them. The records show that, and that they cannot deny. Do not let them put you in the same trap. I have already listed a complaint with the BBB. And coincidence enough, the other complaint on the BBB had nearly the same exact review. I guess it's just a coincidence multiple people have experience the same behavior. Edit: 11/28/20 I have changed the review to 3 stars.
After i left a review to the BBB. They decided they would remove the charges. They reached out to me, and sent me the corrected invoice of $0. Of course this is still after nearly half a dozen attempts and trying to correct this the civil way. And whoever may be reading these reviews should know that in the end, they did do the right thing, and corrected the mistake.

All the doctors here are great! My husband and I have been coming here for the past few years. I have a lot of lower back and neck/shoulder issues and I always leave feeling fixed and loosened up : I like that they also focus on therapy as well so that I can strengthen and stretch specific muscles to further help alleviate any pain. They also have a nice schedule and different office location options which allows me to fit the appointments into my crazy work schedule.
The ladies at the front desk are also very nice and helpful. I'm able to get in and out smoothly, no long wait times before the appointment and with immediate relief when I leave! Can't get better than that!

My back was very painful and Anne Arundel staff was giving me mixed messages. I visited DeMaio for guidance outside the system and the Dr was fantastic, popped my hip back in place over two visits and gave me great guidance. The front desk was very kind and helpful. The financial department was quick to solve any issues. Anne Arundel medicine should take notes! Thanks!

I have been treated by DeMaio Chiropractic for three years now. After spending months on physical therapy and still feeling tortured with back and hip pain, I decided to see a chiropractor. Appearing defeated and broken in my posture, I saw Dr. Osborn for the first time in April 2016. Although initially skeptical about chiropractic care, I kept an open mind and did the home exercises and stretches.
Over time, my posture improved, and my pain decreased substantially over several months-much more than physical therapy ever did for me. Dr. Osborn was direct with me and explained things in a way I could understand. He is a professional I can trust to help me get to where I need to be in order to enlist in the military. In my time working with DeMaio Chiropractic-across the Gambrills, Bowie, and Odenton offices-I found the staff were always professional, friendly, and helpful in answering my questions and concerns.
Even with my limited finances, DeMaio Chiropractic worked out a plan for me to still receive care at a discounted rate which was much appreciated. The scheduling was always convenient, and I was always seen on time for my appointments without any delays. Their offices are consistently kept neat, clean, and organized. I found Kim, the massage therapist with DeMaio Chiropractic, to be the best massage therapist around.
She understands her clients' needs and is very kind and generous with her time. Much of my muscular pain associated with my condition has disappeared because of her expertise and care, complementing my chiropractic care quite well. Perhaps the greatest accomplishment though of DeMaio Chiropractic is their sense of integrity and honesty. They do take the time needed with their patients because they care about their patients' well-being and take pride in the work they do. I would highly recommend DeMaio Chiropractic to anyone in need of chiropractic care in the area.

I love DeMaio Family Chiropractic! The entire staff are super friendly and helpful. Dr. Oz is very attentive to my needs and concerns. He has demonstrated some stretches which help with any discomfort I feel in between visits. He does adjustments for me, my spouse and my 3-year old son. We all love him! I highly recommend DeMaio for any and all chiropractic needs.

DeMaio Family Chiropractic is an absolutely wonderful practice. I started going a few years ago because of lower back pain. Dr. Jim is fantastic and has always made me feel comfortable. When I first started going, he took the time to explain everything since I had never been to a chiropractor before. The front office staff are extremely friendly and helpful.
The office is also very flexible with appointment times and has many available times if you need to reschedule. I have never had a more pleasant doctor's office experience and my back feels great!
