Family First Chiropractic is committed to addressing many health and wellness concerns. In our office, we specialize in the treatment of children and expecting moms. However, our focus is the wellness of everyone that steps in the door. We will take the time to listen to your health concerns whether they are related to pain, diet, and/or stress. Our treatments will be customized to the individual and will include recommendations such as: at home stretches and exercises, dietary and supplementation recommendations, postural changes, massage therapy, acupuncture, and stress reduction techniques.

Dr. Miller graduated and received her Doctorate from Palmer College of Chiropractic, Davenport, IA in 2003. She received her Bachelor's Degree from Knox College, Galesburg, IL and her A.S. from Carl Sandburg College, Galesburg, IL. She played basketball for both colleges. In her commitment to providing the best, up to date, safest chiropractic treatments for pregnant moms and babies, Dr. Miller has completed an Advanced Certification by The Academy of Chiropractic Family Practice.Dr. Miller is the only C.A.C.C.P. in the Charleston area and only 1 of 3 chiropractors in the state of South Carolina.
Shannon Jenkins has been a Massage Therapist since 2008. She is a graduate of Southeastern School of Neuromuscular Massage Therapy. She has training in Neuromuscular, Therapeutic Deep Tissue, Swedish and some CranioSacral Therapies. Shannon really enjoys being a part of patient wellness. It brings a great deal of satisfaction to help ailing patients regain and maintain their lifestyle through the benefits of chiropractic and massage care.
An adjustment to the spine and/or extremities is performed after a thorough exam consisting of orthopedic/neurologic exams and diagnostic tests which can include x-rays. The adjustment helps restore joint alignment, mobility and function of the nervous system. Family First Chiropractic doctors are trained in various techniques that are modified for each individual.

I can't recommend Family First Chiropractic highly enough- I've been a patient for several years now, and we love Dr. Miller! She saw me weekly throughout my first pregnancy, as well as afterwards, and thankfully experienced no complications during pregnancy or birth. However, my second baby was still full breech at 37 weeks, and I sought Dr. Miller's help out of desperation to turn her.
She flipped 180 degrees into the perfect position two days after my first visit back! I was absolutely shocked and thrilled to find all it took was one visit, but I am still seeing Dr. Miller weekly per my doctor's recommendation. Thank you so much Dr. Miller and Family First!

Dr. Miller is the best she's so kind and very thorough! She knows the webster technique which helped me in my pregnancy. I've have back issues for a while and she has helped heal me. She gives excellent advice and she actually cares about you which means alot. The facility is very clean and kid friendly.

I love Dr. Miller. She works magic on my migraines! I first started seeing her when I was pregnant for adjustments, but now rely on her and her team to manage and treat my migraines. She also adjusted my 3 year old daughter when her neck was bothering her, and now she's my daughter's biggest fan! I highly recommend Family First Chiropractic!

Dr. Miller is not only the best and most professional chiropractor I've ever been to, but also a very sweet and caring person. You can tell she loves what she does and loves her patients. She has a beautiful, relaxing office with a peaceful view of some of Daniel Island's marshes and creek. Her office is easy to find and very conveniently located!
