Spinal manipulation has been practiced in one form or another for most of recorded history. Both Hippocrates and Galen experimented with musculoskeletal adjustment. With the fall of the Roman Empire, and the destruction of most scholarly writings, much of what had been learned was lost.

Dr. Bev is hands down the best chiropractor I've been to, and I've been to many. She uses an approach called the "non-force technique, " and it works extremely well for me. She uses gentle pressure, gentle adjustments, the breath, and your own muscles to help make adjustments. no sudden cracks that feel like your head is about to pop off.
I find her help invaluable for keeping my spine in line and healthier (I have scoliosis and sit a lot for my job, so I need her intervention to stay out of pain) I always feel better when I leave her office. She is formerly a massage therapist as well, and integrates some targeted massage to help your muscles adjust to the manipulations. Dr. Bev has a lot of wholistic health knowledge to share as well, including nutrition, exercise, and supplements, but she does not push anything (as some other chiropractors do). She is also a lovely, warm, caring professional. I cannot speak highly enough of her.
