LifeForce Chiropractic is a modern facility known for its range of Chiropractic techniques and other services. It is also well known for it's ability to inform and educate their practice members on all things Chiropractic. An educated patient is our best patient, and typically, they tend to get the best results by fully understanding and appreciating their commitment to their care plan, and recommendations from the doctors.
In simplest terms, a subluxation a.k.a. Vertebral Subluxation) is when one or more of the bones of your spine (vertebrae) move out of position and create pressure on, or irritate spinal nerves. Spinal nerves are the nerves that come out from between each of the bones in your spine. This pressure or irritation on the nerves then causes those nerves to malfunction and interfere with the signals traveling over those nerves. How does this affect you? Your nervous system controls and coordinates all the functions of your body.
This is a representation of one type of subluxation. A subluxation, as defined by the Association of Chiropractic Colleges is: "A subluxation is a complex of functional and/or structural and/or pathological articular changes that compromise neural integrity and may influence organ system function and general health."

I was very impressed with the thorough initial exam, and the detailed explanation of the x-rays Dr. Jeff had taken, I was sure I had picked the right place. After about a dozen VERY brief adjustments, advice about home treatments, ice vs heat, sleeping habits and exercises, which I practiced diligently, I found my self in the same or perhaps worse pain than I had arrived with.
On my last two visits, Dr Jeff was late arriving at the office, and had several people waiting. Instead of the usual three or four minute adjustment, I got a one or two minute adjustment. I cancelled my next appointment, and did the opposite of what they had advised me to do, and my pain actually decreased. Given the amount of time the spent with me, I would not recommend Lifeforce to anyone wishing to relieve their pain.

I am a guy that has several issues with my spine since 1997 when I broke my neck in a car accident. With that said, I have to be very careful with what happens to my neck and spine. I have been going to LifeForce dozens of times and the experience and care is A+. If you need chiropractic care this is the only place to go!

This chiropractic clinic is hands down the best I have ever been to since my beloved chiropractor retired. I've been through many and it's been so difficult to find a suitable replacement. I had an accident in January 2021, and was receiving chiropractic care elsewhere. While under care for 6 months I was not pleased with my progress and was really looking to find a place to find a ray of hope.
I originally decided to come to this office because of the name LifeForce. What I found was so much more. I FINALLY found a doctor that "cared" and has a similar philosophy practicing the art of chiropractics as my previous chiropractor. Boy was I relieved. Within 3 months Dr. Jeff and Dr. Lacey were able to help me feel like myself again. I had terrible vertigo when I got started which is at a minimum these days.
I love that they believe in educating their patients about how chiropractic care can help us lead a normal life. And give us a holistic approach to managing pain and injury. In addition to receiving top notch care from Dr. Jeff and Dr. Lacey the office staff and medical professionals in this office are always professional and highly accommodating. I have been so pleased with my care here that my entire family has established with them and feel so blessed to finally find a place to call "home".

Sure, the staff is friendly and nice.until you have a problem or a question about your insurance and co-pay. That's when they change. I was shocked at how I was treated after being a returning patient and seeing them for nearly a year and also being disabled with Medicaid. If you have Medicaid, trust me when I tell you to steer clear of LifeForce Chiropractic.
They would not return my calls when I left voice messages or reply to my emails. When I did finally speak to Sonya in the billing department, she was rude to me and lied to me when all I wanted was help and had questions. Without getting into everything, I'll just say that American Specialty Health (ASH) and their Group Appeals and Grievances Department is now investigating LifeForce because what they were doing to me (and likely others with Medicaid) was/is illegal. ASH has been unable to speak to the provider and their staff because they knew what they were doing was wrong and they were caught. (My health insurance's words, not mine.) Long story short, LifeForce reimbursed me for what they should not have been charging me. And, yes, they're being investigated because of it and because they're not doing what ASH is requesting of them and because I never signed anything for LifeForce to charge me. LifeForce is creating Member Billing Acknowledgement Forms now, though, so whatever you do, do not sign them because it protects LifeForce, not you.
If you end up paying when you shouldn't have been and you signed those MBAFs, you would not be able to get your money back. I wasn't going to review them because of the nature of what's been going on behind the scenes with my insurance and LifeForce (things I had no idea were happening until now), but I feel that others need to be warned. Trust me when I say to go somewhere else.

Dr Jeff and his staff are very caring, friendly and I love the atmosphere when I enter the door. He is very knowledgeable and you can tell that he is there to make patients feel better overall. I cannot say enough good things about the wonderful team at LifeForce Chiropractic. I have had severe back issues for over 20 years. I tried injections, pills, acupuncture and patches. Nothing worked. A friend told me about LifeForce and I was reluctant. I am so glad that I gave them a chance. From the first moment that I was greeted by their awesome staff, I felt like family. Dr. Jeff MonteLeon spent over an hour reviewing my history and explained his holistic approach to healing.
He kindly explained that due to my injuries, I may never be pain free but that I can feel and move better than before with his therapy. I appreciated his honest appraisal especially when compared to what other doctors have told me about possible outcomes. Dr Jeff and his staff are friendly, knowledgeable, & professional. He takes the time to educate prior to treatment so you have an understanding of how your body works & responds. I began seeing Dr. Jeff after a car accident that left me barely able to move my neck. Could not be happier with the results I've experienced. Staff is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, overall amazing. Office is beautiful. I live over an hour away from Lifeforce Chiropractic and trust me it's worth the drive.

Thank you Dr. Jeff and staff for returning me to my active lifestyle. I am in my late 40's and have been actively teaching yoga/pilates for over 10 years. I had recurring lower back pain that almost brought an end to my classes. Dr. Jeff was able to diagnosis and treat me without medication and get me back to the mat. Would definitely recommend LifeForce Chiropractic to any of my friends, family, and students.

Went to get lower back adjusted in Nov. 2017. Had my back adjusted several times a week on an aggressive treatment plan. Several weeks in after a table adjustment I had the wind knocked out of me after the chiropractor cracked my back. I was in utter terror because I couldn't breathe and knew something was terribly wrong. I let the Dr know what had happened and he brushed this off as it was "normal".
The very next day my ribs were in excruciating pain and my original complaint my back was fine. I went to a general dr who took xrays that showed I had possible slipped disc which when I went to the chiropractor the xrays showed no issues of a slipped disk. Fast forward 2 months and I am in pain every day and my back pain has returned. I can't even function normally after seeing this chiropractor. I highly DON'T recommend!
