I have been a patient of Dr. Derrick Maitland since he took over the Lisle Chiropractic Clinic from Dr. Ray Ruginis. Derrick asks questions regarding my symptoms and has outstanding listening skills which, combined with his examination, he uses to formulate my treatment plan. This often involves exercises to be done at home. Derrick is compassionate and incredibly well informed on a wide range of topics.
He is able to speak knowledgeably regarding subjects ranging from US National Parks to World War II battles. I look forward to my appointments almost as much for the conversation as the relief of pain and the ability to keep walking upright! There are a great number of Chiropractic practitioners in this area, perhaps owing to the National College of Chiropractic nearby, and I cannot compare them as I might compare restaurants, for example.
I can only say that I have been extremely pleased with the compassionate care my wife and I have received from Derrick Maitland at Lisle Chiropractic and I would highly recommend him to anyone. If you are in pain, you owe it to yourself to seek relief.

Dr Maitland was amazing! A different doctor told me that my hip injury would take at least three weeks to heal. I went to doctor Maitland and he got me pain free in 8 days! He not only did in-office treatment but also showed me exercises to do at home so that I could help to accelerate the healing process. I highly recommend him!
