Dr. D is not only a amazing person, he is amazing at what he does! I am 26 years old and have been lifting weights for about six years. Coming to Dr. D I was having hip and lower back pain that was sometimes debilitating. Dr D did a full spinal assessment and found problems I didn't even know I had. He explains everything throuroughly and in a very understandable way. Now that I have been seeing him for about a month my pain has decreased significantly and I feel like my problem is actually going to be healed/fixed.

I've been going to Active Health on and off since I was pregnant with my daughter (2 years old) and today was the day that solidified my belief in chiropractic care. I've always "believed" in the benefits but today was legitimately a curing experience. Last night/this morning I have been pretty debilitated by what seemed to be an inner ear infection.

I couldn't even turn my head without dizziness that caused instant nausea. I felt like I couldn't function. I was adjusted this morning at 10:30AM. It's 4:16PM and I feel completely normal. Over the past 6 hours I have felt my pain, pressure and vertigo gradually disappear. I'm sold, take my money.

This is my second time going back to Dr. Darrell and he is just awesome. After just a few adjustments I was already feeling like new and it is amazing that when your spine feels good the rest of you just naturally wants to feel good too. The BEST! I can't say enough good things about Dr. Vol and his office. I am a busy mother of 3 and have worked for years in the nursing field caring for the elderly which has put a strain on my body. I was still in my 30's but couldn't stand up straight or walk for long periods with out being in pain. My friend and physical therapist who would try to assist me finally recommended Dr. Vol and I haven't felt better. He truly cares about your health and is very compassionate. He doesn't just care about me but also cares and wants to know how my family is doing as well! Highly recommend!

I can't even imagine how much more difficult this pregnancy (#4) would be without the gentle, consistent chiropractic care I have received from Dr. Darrell. While I have always had back problems pre-pregnancy (and no chiropractic care), my back felt strong during this pregnancy. He is always ready to answer my questions, takes a natural approach to health, and his receptionist (Samantha) is right on top of things. Dr. D has been caring for my family on and off for roughly 7 years. We move around a lot, but anytime we are in town, we get in to be seen. Dr. D cares for my family and listens. He even takes the time to remember my kids little quirks. With all our moves, we still have not found a chiropractor who listens and takes the time that Dr. D does.

Dr. D has changed our lives with his knowledge, enterprise, and chiropractic care. My husband and I came in around two years ago with back pain - I ride horses so that is hard on my back and with Dr. D's care, my back is restored. In the summer of 2018, my horse threw me off and I landed on my tailbone and it caused pain for a while and Dr. D was able to help me heal properly.

We are pain free and we sleep better, breathe better, and more. I also came in for chiropractic care with Dr. D throughout my pregnancy and this allowed me to have a home birth without medication because he was able to prepare my body for the birth using the Webster method. We brought in our baby girl at 2 days old for her adjustment and she was latching on the left breast without a problem afterwards. I always strongly recommend his practice to my friends who are suffering from back pain, with children that have ear infections/health issues - he is the best!

As a Midwife, I can not be more appreciative of Dr Darrell. Be has gone out of his way, countless times, to adjust an expectant mama prenatally, in labor and even on a Saturday! I have seen his adjustments work miracles on babies with nursing issues and he truly makes it affordable for the entire family to be well taken care of. I cannot recommend Active Health enough!

Dr. Darrell has been providing chiropractic care to me and my children for the last 6 years. He is very professional, knowledgeable, and caring. He teaches me about how to support my body as he physically provides adjustments. The office is welcoming and comfortable. Dr. Darrell and Dr. Gretchen are two of the most professional and caring health care providers I know! They take plenty of time to listen to you and to your body. They are encouraging and positive! I've been going to them for more than 8 years and my son received his first adjustment while he was still a baby.
