Unlike conventional medicine, which focuses on attempting to treat disease once it occurs, Twinbrooke Chiropractic emphasizes improving your health in an effort to reduce the risk of pain and illness in the first place. Most people would rather be healthy and avoid illness, if they could. This is one of the main reasons for the big surge in the popularity of our wellness center.
Arriving at a doctors office for the first time can be a nerve racking experience. Paperwork to fill out, new faces and names to learn, and getting to know your way around the office; this can hit the senses all the at same time causing overload. In contrast, at Imatrix Management Center our aim is to remove any stressor causing unnessesary tension and make you feel comfortable. In this area of the website you will be able to take care of items necessary for your visit prior to arriving, in the comfort of your home.
Chiropractic care is like building a house - certain things have to happen in a particular order in order for everything to stand strong and work correctly. When building a house, if you tried to put up your walls before you had a solid foundation, your walls would be weak and eventually collapse. If you tried to put on your roof before the walls were ready, you would run into the same problem. The same is true for your body. Your body has to go through a particular plan of care in order to repair itself correctly and fully.
Most people are under the assumption that if they don't feel any pain that there is nothing wrong with them - that they are healthy. Unfortunately, pain is a very poor indicator of health. In fact, pain and other symptoms frequently only appear after a disease or other condition has become advanced.

I've been under Dr. Sal's care for more than a decade, and he's been excellent. He's not only personable and kind but also highly knowledgeable and remarkably friendly, making patient interaction enjoyable. His staff is nice and supportive too. I was initially skeptical due to a bad experience with another chiropractor. However, after my first visit with Dr. Sal, my concerns vanished. His adjustments truly made a significant difference in my well-being.

Dr. Sal is great. I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of chiropractic services. He gave me an adjustment and then taught me some things I can do on my own time to save myself from back pain in the future. Much better than all of the other quacks that I've met before. 10/10 would recommend.

They dismissed me today as if I were a peasant. Years of relationship ruined. I wouldn't go back. I got better care for 1/5 the cost at the joint. Update: the receptionist here (Nicole Locher) posted negative and untrue things on Facebook about me and the office refused to take me as a patient. Dr. Shields was good, but he violated his medical oath not treating me.
Now I have a chronic neck injury. Stay away from this place at all costs. I believe the receptionist said "I have a file on Chris in case I go missing" which is totally unfounded, illegal, violates my hippa rights and considering suing her for libel. I've seen her "party" photos on social media and she's a drug user, so I'm not surprised. I'd steer clear, honestly. Dr. Jordan at the joint does better work, much better rate and always friendly. Nicole Locher the receptionist used my file to access my phone number, etc. which is a little creepy. I would NOT recommend this place. I work for a health care law firm and plan on taking action. My family began patronizing this establishment many years ago when I had an issue on a weekend. It was the place open. I received care that I think satisfied my issue (I haven't hurt since). My family continues receiving care here to this day and we have had no complaints. Reasonable prices and UNITED HEALTHCARE insurance is accepted. I recommend. Very accommodating for FSA/HSA receipt concerns.

Dr. Duncan Shields has been serving me and and my wife for the past 5 years as our chiropractor for our maintenance tune-ups in addition to specialized treatments. He used to treat pro athletes out in the west coast in his previous practice. He's an avid weight lifter and knows his anatomy along with being an expert on treating pain. We are lucky to have Dr. Shields practicing in our area!

Can't say enough about Dr. Sal and his staff. They are professional and Dr. Sal always makes me feel better. When I had a knee problem he told me what it was but I went to an orthopedist and he said the same thing and raved about Dr. Sal. He said he likes him because he also gives you exercises to do to help your problem. I like Dr. Sal be sure he doesn't push you to come back on a set schedule unless you need it. Once you get over the acute issues he just says let's see how it goes and come back if you need it!
