As a chiropractor, I get to aid people who suffer from a range of health issues. Naturally, chiropractors aid traditional neck and back problems, but chiropractic has produced wonderful results with a range of problems you wouldn't normally associate with the spine.

I have been receiving chiropractic care due to back/neck issues for more than 35 years. I started seeing Dr. Blackiston about 5 years ago and she is by far the best chiropractor I've ever been to. All the others twist your neck or spine, sometimes adjusting areas that don't need it other other areas that hurt using this method. Dr. Blackiston uses reflex tests to determine exactly which vertebra is out of alignment and only adjusts the ones that are with a little contraption called an activator I think.
She has helped me heal from injuries that include: a herniated disk in my neck, sciatica, shoulder pain, and other alignment issues. I trust her 100%. She is kind, caring, and extremely talented in her craft. I highly recommend her. I should also give a shout out to Lorie and Nicole in the office, who are also wonderful as well!

I love Blackiston Chiropractic. Clean, beautiful office, friendly staff. I used to get headaches a lot before trying Chiropractic care. With Dr. Blackiston's adjustments, she was able to help my jaw pain and my headaches dissipate. Appointments are quick and fit in with a busy schedule. The kids area is helpful too. My boys can color while they wait for their turn.

Blackiston Chiropractic has been a lifesaver not only to my health but that of my Husband and two teenage boys. Dr Heather and her staff made the whole process of chiropractic care smooth and comfortable for me. Dr Heather explained what she was going to do and why she was doing it. I have experienced great results from chiropractic care with Dr Heather and I would recommend Blackiston Chiropractic to anyone who needs care.

I normally would never leave a single star but I have to say, I feel that this chiropractor isn't very sensitive to others needs and lacks personalble interaction. Felt far too much like an assembly line. Everything is so rigid in how things are done from where you must put your keys and how you throw away the tissue covering when done. I really like the two girls at the front desk but you definitely know who's in charge and I also don't like that kind of vibe either.
I felt like I was questioned too much initially about my car accident and it made me uncomfortable because it was almost as though thier about how they are going to get paid and not enough attention to the injury itself. Their hours are VERY limited because she's part-time to be with her child. I had to work around that schedule all the time and I wasn't able to do my recommended treatment schedule for my injury because of it. Lastly, what I disliked the most was the awkward socially avoidant behavior from the chiropractor where you really didn't even look at her to talk to her from beginning to end of appt.
You come in, talk to the receptionist, set keys down in designated spot, lay sheet down and then lay down and wait for her to finish the others in their laying order. She comes up, asks the exact same thing every time, moves your feet, then literally a couple light presses with her tool and she forgets every time that I can't schedule when she suggests because she makes no effort to get to know you.
Then you get up, throw your sheet away and schedule after paying out of pocket way too much for almost nothing. It helped a little but it never lasted long. I'll never go back. I wrote this in hopes she realizes this is how she makes some people feel. I was warned my my nurse friend Kathy that she felt like cattle being herded and I thought I'd try it anyway. They did at least reimburse me once my insurance approved treatment.
