I run track and field at the D1 level and I had been dealing with excruciating pain in my calf. It simulated the feeling of having no muscle and pain all over the calf. After coming to Dr. Gerbode for a few weeks my pain was subsiding and now I am running my full mileage again and have no pain! I genuinely believe he saved my track season; I will continue to go to him for as long as I can!

I tweaked my neck playing hockey one day and assumed it was an acute thing. I am an extremely active person that does a lot of sports so not a stranger of injuries. Decided to ice my and go to sleep. Next morning I woke up and couldn't move. Decided to search for a chiropractor because I figured it would be just a little tweak and be good as new.

I found Dr. Gerbode and went to see him. We figured out that this was not an acute injury, but seemed to be more of a long term thing. He did a few quick adjustments that got me moving again and feeling much much better. During the whole process, he explained every little thing that was happening and what he was going to be doing to adjust/fix it.

Some of the best explanations to receiving care that I ever have. Once the adjustments were over, we discussed a more long term plan to get me back to peak physical movement. I thought, "Here we go, another chiropractor trying to get me to come back 2-3 times a week for the next 6 months to squeeze me for as much money as possible", except it was the opposite! Dr. Gerbode actually recommended for my condition 2-3 x a week for a week or two (depending on how my body responded), then down to 2x a week, and finally once a week.

He even said at some point, we probably will be able to not have me come in at all. Let's just say that was a refreshing thing to hear that I haven't heard from a doc in a long time. It's now been about a month since I went to see him and everything he explained is going as planned. First week = 3 x Second week = 2 x Third week = 2 x Fourth week = 1x Now we are at 1x a week and I feel great.

I still have a little bit of nerve pain/soreness but I can function normally and have resumed physical activity since week 2. Overall Dr. Gerbode is the best Chiropractor I have ever been to and HIGHLY recommend going to him for your needs.

Literally the best chiropractor i have had and i have been seeing and moving and searching for over twenty years. Instant removal of chronic everlasting pain. Bravo.

He has done an incredible job with my back. I had fiery pain in my lumbar spine for almost 4 years and with 5 sessions it's about 75% better. I couldn't sit or stand for long periods and bending over had sharp pain. Definitely worth the money.

Dr. Gerbode is and excellent chiropractor! I highly recommend him. First, his receptionists are very friendly and respectful. Not to mention, they went above and beyond to get in contact with my insurance to clarify my co-pay (which the insurance didn't even know the answer to and had to do some research of their own). On the first visit, Dr. Gerbode took time to understand why I had decided to make an appointment with him, what my goals were, and explain his plan of care.

He is very thorough and explains everything. He genuinely cares about his patients and their progress. He is honest about how often he needs to see you, what things he can help fix, and what things he may not be able to fix that the patient may need to seek other care for. He is an excellent chiropractor.

Best chiropractor ever! I been experiencing neck+shoulder pain since I was in college. It got really bad about 1 year ago. the neck and should pain started giving me headache daily and my arm start feeling numb everyday. I have seen countless chiropractors and I even asked my physician to help me out. No one did nothing until I found Dr. Gerbode on Cigna website.

The pain didn't go away overnight but I feel my shoulder is much lighter righter after my first adjustment. Most importantly, the numbness feeling is gone after the third appointment! It's been bothering me for years. My daily headache is gone after I think about a month adjustment. Dr. Gerbode listens, educates and being patient to me all the time. And he got magical hands!

I will be 70 in December 2017. I have following Brian for over 25 years. He has helped me through enormous obstacles general medicine could not help. For instance, my daughter was 18, she was a runner and when she ran her hands became blood red and her feet blue. She went to a Nero-surgeon who tested her and diagnosed her for heart surgery. I took her to Brian and he diagnosed her spin was pinching nerves that shortened the circulation.

I first came to Dr. Gerbode due to lower back pain from weight lifting many years ago. Had it fixed after 5 or 6 visits. Ever since I come here regularly for adjustments to relieve the pressure build up around my neck and back area. I would recommend this place.

I have been seeing Dr. Gerbode now for about six years and I have no intention on going anywhere else. The chiro I was seeing before Dr. Gerbode always made me pay an astronomical amount up front for a year's worth of treatment and had me on an aggressive treatment plan that had me going into the office three days a week. I get adjusted as a form of wellness care, not because of a specific injury I've had.

I always thought this was excessive. When I made my way to Dr. Gerbode from a referral, I was so happy with his rates and style of treating his patients. I was shown that my prior treatment plan was unnecessary. He really spends a good amount of one-on-one time with you and always answers any questions you have, as opposed to the the last chiropractor I was seeing where he made you lay in a room face down with other people doing the same and you wait until he gets to you.

It was always really awkward and I never wanted to ask my questions because everyone else could hear. I always feel better after leaving Dr. Gerbode's office and I leave with knowledge on the best ways to take care of my health. He was my primary wellness care throughout my pregnancy and he adjusts my daughter ever since she was born in 2010 a couple times a year. I definitely trust him enough for that! Oh, and everyone else who works in this office are all very friendly people!

I've been coming here for over 10 years. Dr. Gerbode has always had reasonable rates and has taken good care of my spine. I highly recommend him! And that's saying a lot because I don't often give five stars.

I have been going to Dr. Gerbode for over 15 years now. His adjustments are gentle and effective. He is professional, compassionate, knowledgeable and has a great bedside manner. He gets to the root of the problem by listening and working with you. His staff is amazing and always finds room to slide you in at the last minute if you need to get in unexpectedly.

I also appreciate the fact that if I haven't come in for awhile (due to my travel for business schedule) they are not constantly calling me to schedule an appointment (like other past chiropractic offices have done prior to me finding Gerbode Chiropractic). The reason why I continue to go to Dr. Gerbode (and have for so many years) is because he is the best at what he does and I have, time and time again, had great results.

I would highly recommend Dr. Gerbode to anyone seeking to be the best version of themselves. He is great at not only fixing the problem you may have but also walking through the adjustment and what may be causing our pain in the first place. Sorry if that sounds like a market pitch, but it's the truth, I have learned a great amount from him by being a patient for about 3 years and he has helped me through some dark times of battling recovery from a car accident when I did not think I would ever be pain free. If you are leery of Chiropractic, give this office a try, you won't regret it!

He knows his stuff. No question about it. I have been to several other chiropractors and I feel like they do a "one adjustment fits all". Not here. Dr Gerbode knows how and where to adjust for your individual needs and I have had better results because of it. So glad I've found him!

For some bizarre reason, Yelp has filtered my review and I have to keep re-posting. Just wanted to add that I continue to go to Dr. Gerbode for back care. He's the best and very reasonable in price. I have been his patient for close to 15 years and wouldn't think of going anywhere else. Because of my mild scoliosis, I will probably have to have chiropractic care indefinitely but I go for maintenance about every 3-4 weeks. Dr. Gerbode is great, never makes you feel pressured to come in more often so he can make more money. He's very honest and caring about all his patients!

I have been going to Dr. Gerbode for more than 11+ years. I was in chronic pain from a 6 year old injury when I first found him. I was taking muscle relaxers, perscription anti-inflammatories, pain meds and another pill to help me sleep. He gave me such great care that I very quickly was alble to go off all medications and now only see him for regular maintenance visits.

About 5 years ago I was in another accident and I called Dr. Gerbode from the tow truck to find out how to manage the injuries so I did not have to go back to where I was before I found him. He guided me through my recovery and we quickly went back to my maintenance visits. I had seen lots of chiropractors before him and never got the relief I needed, he is by far the best out there. No gimmicks, no sales pitches - he listens and he solves the problem. He changed my life!

Great Chiropractor, plain and simple. My boyfriend and I like that he'll explain things to you as much or as little as you want, and he definitely knows what he's doing. Brian is kind, efficient, reasonably priced, and doesn't hard sell to get you back more often than you really need.

I just LOVE their aquamed massage bed. It has this waterbed thing inside it, and it uses water pressure to give you a massage. The closest feeling I can say is that it feels like you're on a bed with the surf rushing on beneath you. And it's that surf action that eventually loosens you up and relaxes and massage you. You can set the pressure, speed and even the area to massage you. It's definitely helped me and I'm really happy that I can get the massage here.

I really want that machine for my home, but alas, it was way too expensive and I'd have to convert to DC current for the house. sigh. Oh well, whenever I need a massage and can't get to my fav foot massage in San Diego, I come here.

I've been going to see Dr. Gerbode for the last 6 months or so. I am very happy with my decision. He is a great physician, and really knows his stuff. I have studied a little bit about alternative medicine and chiropractic in the past. Right from the consultation everything he said was spot on, and he gives you a feeling that he knows what he is talking about.

I also liked that he wasn't just looking to get me on the table, but wanted to know why I was there and what I was looking for. He stated that he doesn't admit everyone, and that some people are not in need of his services and I like that kind of honesty. I'm usually in and out of the office in no time, and his adjustments are good and I have seen a lot of benefit out of them.

I would highly suggest that everyone take the proactive approach to their health and consider seeing Dr. Gerbode. All body types can benefit from chiropractic if you go to see the right person. Dr. Gerbode is your man!
