Health west chiropractic, Dr Damser and the whole staff are wonderful. From the moment I walked in they were professional and caring. I've had nothing but great experiences here. They are responsible for saving my career. Dr Damser got my back in tip top shape in no time, allowing me to get back to work and enjoying my life free of back pain. I've since recommended several people to them.

Response to JS from Health West Chiropractic: Very sorry that you were disappointed JS however when dealing with insurance companies we always request that you provide us with a copy of the front and back of the insurance card and some additional information. You only verbally gave the information and it did not pull up online. So we requested you email the card and we would call them to verify.

Unfortunately you got belligerent with the receptionist instead of simply emailing the card so we could follow thru. We understand your frustration in this matter but we check insurance as a courtesy to you before your visit.

Poor poor professionalism by the receptionist. Unable to do the basics of pulling up what you are covered. Disappointing experience. Luckily I was able to find a place off PCH that was able to provide me details of my coverage right away.

Very disappointing experience when dealing with the receptionist. With all of the information provided she wasn't unable to pull up my coverage.

Dr. Damser was able to get my neck vertebrae aligned my first visit without doing that harsh twist and crack thing. I went back to make sure it stayed properly aligned. He gave me exercises and advice and never pressured me to sign onto a 'package'. I am pain free for the first time in 9 months even though my MRI shows there is some degeneration. I am very grateful to Dr. Damser. PS: My other 'doctor' said I should start getting epidurals.

I have chronic headaches from an accident years ago. My MD.'s have give me pain killers and anti inflammatories. I knew I didn't want to live on drugs, even the surgeons did not recommend a surgery. They said their procedure might make me worse--and this was from both a Neurosurgeon and an Orthopedic Surgeon. I took my MRI and XRays to Dr. Damser and asked him if he could help.

He said he would try. How honest! Very gently, very slowly Dr. Damser got to work. He not only used manipulation but other calming modalities. Love this Guy! I see him perhaps twice a month and my cervicogenic headaches have lessened by 90%, No drugs, no lumbar puncture, and no surgery. His front office staff is friendly with Cheryl to greet you. I feel like this is old school care, no rushing to see his next patient and a very peaceful environment. 100% Would Recommend.

I have been a believer in Chiropractic care most of my life. I have visited several chiropractors over the years due to moving to different areas and Health West and Dr. Roy Damser are the best. Fun bedside manner and a very friendly staff. Cheryl, the office manager, goes out of her way to get me appointments and always feel welcome when I stop by. NOW THEY CARRY CBD PRODUCTS, TOO.

Dr. Roy Damser has been my primary care chiropractor for years and he's been great. He truly has an old school work ethic and always does his best to fit you for a visit especially when you're in need of some pain relief. I'm 6'0 225 lbs and Dr Roy has been the only chiropractor physically able to adjust my back the way my body needs it. This is not based solely on his strength but nearly entirely on his techniques.

Amazing Chiropractor! Dr. Roy was able to fix my back in a matter of a few minutes and I was able to get a same day appointment! Thanks Dr. Roy!

This review is well overdue. Many years ago I briefly was treated by a chiropractor who made my back worse than when I walked into their office. Yet I received various treatments in the past by many DCs in different countries as I moved around a lot. Not an expert but my back surely is! I was still in need of a very good chiropractor after that unpleasant experience. That's when I met my super hero Dr Roy Damser over 12 years ago. Wow I had a thorough consultation before any adjustment.

Since then I became a regular 'patient'. Dr. D. knows how to put a smile back on your face instead of the ugly grimaces caused by the pain. Highly recommend to any back, neck, you name it, sufferer as Dr D uses the most gentle technique to have you back on your feet.

I first saw Dr. Damser around 1995 while living in Newport Beach. He was close and took my insurance. I was fifty years old at the time I did not know how lucky I was. Having lived in different locations, I had seen three other chiropractors. One was poor (a come back artist), one a journeyman, and Dr. Grey was excellent. But as I was to discover, Dr. Damser is in a class by himself.

I now live in Whittier, but even if I am unable stand straight and/or in pain, I will drive 30 miles to see Dr. Damser. Only once, because of time restraints, did I go elsewhere. It was a waist of time and money. I can't blame the person that talked me into it, I knew better. Dr. Damser is so good, I really don't know how good he is. I have a chronic condition that every three to five months required four or five visits to get me back to normal.

For the first two occurrences, I saw him three times, probably from habit. After that, one or two visits were all that I required. He would finish an adjustment and say "call if you need me." After following his advice and getting a new bed, my visits are measured in years instead of months. The only down side is I truly enjoyed seeing him. With his greeting, smile and handshake, I am halfway down the road to recovery.

I have no plans to move, so I will not find out how far away I would have to be to ask him for a referral. However, it would be quite a distance. If you have back problems or pain, Dr. Damser is the man to see.

I've been a patient of Dr. Damser for over 18 years. I have 4 vertebrae fused in my neck and he is able to adjust me comfortably and safely. He is a friendly and very professional DC with a nice office and friendly staff. I highly recommend!

If I had to describe Health West Chiropractic through the mind, hands, and heart of Dr. Roy Damser. I would say "Aloha". That means a lot to a person who has ever had the experience to visit the islands of Hawaii. It's all about the refreshing of the soul. Dr. Damser has created this environment; and I am fortunate to be able to escape to this place to help me put a smile on my face.

I've known Roy for over 20 years and can give him and his girls the highest recommendations. Knowledge, understanding and personal attention is what you can expect, no less.
