I've seen Dr. Cheryl for almost 12 years now and also see her husband, Lucelo, on a very regular basis. I could go on and on about how life changing they both are with my chronic pain. 10/10 would recommend to anyone and everyone!

I've been seeing the magical duo, Dr. Cheryl and Lucelo (massage therapist), for the past 10+ years. I probably go to Dr. Cheryl about 50-55 times a year and see Lucelo regularly as well. I'm not sure what I would do without them! If you're seeking hands-on manipulation and want to feel better immediately, definitely check it out. Dr. Cheryl won't let you leave unless you feel significantly better :)

Dr. Cheryl helped me with a decade-old lower back injury, she put me on the road to recovery. 25 years later I am still mobile and healthy. Thank you!

A warm and caring professional. She shows so much respect for patients' working lives by providing a wide variety of office hours and drop in appointments for established patients. The office is comfortable and close to Ballston. She has provided immediate relief for my back pain.

Dr. Gottesfeld is very gifted, and I am convinced that her gifting comes directly from God. I'm awed when she almost intuitively knows the precise location of pain I'm experiencing. After a very bad injury many years ago, I had chronic back pain. For more than a decade I dealt with the pain 24/7. This is significant, coming from a guy who is historically extremely active in sports and in physically demanding activities, and who, while living with years of that pain, has had to do some physically very demanding things in the military.

When not doing such things, at my office sitting was so problematic that for years, I stood at a stand-up desk, which brought limited relief; of course, I went home exhausted every day. I went through several sets of mattresses some combinations of which likewise brought limited relief, meanwhile regularly consuming small fistfuls of ibuprofen several times a day (the only thing that I found brought any relief from the pain and didn't have noticeable side effects).

Through the years, I went to a few orthopedic specialists (who misdiagnosed my problem), had MRIs that showed nothing, and tried a few rounds of physical therapy and several rounds of epidurals. When I went to her, things began to change. She once said (paraphrasing here) "your problem is not in your lower back; it's in your S-I joint." Suddenly armed with that "theory, " I approached the problem from an entirely different perspective.

Without getting into the rest of the story here (a story that includes great success with PRP), I'll just sum it up by saying that I subsequently ended up experiencing what I continue to call the medical miracle of my adult life. and it started with her diagnosis which notably contrasted with that of the orthopedic specialists. Dr. G. can't fix everything, which she'll readily acknowledge. Occasionally, there have been joint/bone/muscle problems I've brought to her to no avail. But within her unique healing, therapeutic, and diagnostic skillset, she is amazing.
