CHIROPRACTIC SPINAL MANIPULATION - Specific manual correction of vertebral misalignments to remove spinal nerve root irritation.
A subluxation is a slight dislocation (misalignment) or biochemical malfunctioning of the vertebrae (bones of the spine). A fall, injury, sudden jar, or trauma can put strain on a vertebra or other joint. Other causes may include improper sleeping conditions or habits, poor posture, occupational hazards, incorrect lifting practices, obesity, lack of rest and exercise, and stress.

Dr Burke is a great doctor, upfront and knowledgeable! This lady truely seems like she cares about getting you out of pain, she takes time and lisens to your concerns. and works to get you in when it is convenient for you. She works with you so well! I recommend her to anyone who is looking for a trust worthy doctor! She doesn't try to scam you or b s you in any way!

Dr. Burke is an amazing lady and her staff is wonderful. I've seen many chiropractors and none of them come close to being the phenomenal practice Dr. Burke and her staff run. Dr. Burke is highly educated, extremely kind, possesses a high standard of listening to and observing her patients. She shares an immense amount of education both verbally and in writing with her patients and allows as much time needed to answer any questions.
I left her office knowing that she understands my concerns and ailments and that she holds my health and betterment of in very high regards. She is the most well versed physician that I have talked with regarding the extremely depressing, debilitating, chronic pain of fibromyalgia and RA. She for real gets it! She understands! Since being diagnosed 3+ years ago I've seen numerous health care providers, including multiple rheumatologists, physical therapists, etc., that have either become frustrated at the lack of relief I get from their best attempts at treatment or treat me as though I'm an experiment and bounce me from one medication to another.
I'm looking forward to working Dr. Burke's treatment plan that includes my current RX's, all natural anti-inflammatory remedies, dietary changes, spinal adjustments and I'm most excited about her performing acupuncture next week. Though I've only met with Dr. Burke and her staff once I have an overwhelming feeling of confidence that we will successfully achieve a level of relief I havent yet experienced.
I'm realistic about the fibromyalgia diagnosis and understand fully that this is a chronic condition that I will deal with for life. I'm honest when I say that I've never experienced the level of education I received from Dr. Burke. She sent me home will a folder full of scientific knowledge/explanations written in lay terms that I was able to share with my husband and son to help them both better understand what fibromyalgia is, how it effects a person diagnosed emotionality, mentally & physically and what we can all do to lessen the symptoms. Thank you to Dr. Burke and staff.

I love everything about this office! The staff is extremely warm, friendly and accommodating. The hours they are available are great for the career-minded, students, as well as stay-at-homers alike. Dr. Burke is so knowledgeable and experienced. She always finds a fix for any problem and with my athletic family this has offered many challenges. I have left the office many times feeling as if Dr Burke has accomplished a miracle. I give anyone who will listen, my highest recommendation of this whole team!

Dr. Burke is wonderful! Her office hours are ideal for almost everyone. I appreciate how good she is at getting you in at your scheduled time. I feel great after my adjustment. If you are in pain, the office staff works to get you in ASAP. The office staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I hope you give Dr. Burke a try!

She is very awesome and amazing at what she does! I love that she has me almost back to 100% in less than a week of being in pain for over a month in a half. I live over an hour away and she was able to accept me as a new patient and has good range of hours to choose from for a visit. The staff there is awesome and friendly. If I could give her more stars I'd rate her 30 stars not just 5 stars!

So one day, I woke up and I could hardly open my mouth. My jaw, on the right side, decided to lock up on my overnight and conveniently went on strike, leaving me in pain. Mind you, this was Saturday morning. Fast forward to the following week. About Wednesday, I couldn't handle the pain anymore, so I decided to ask some friends about where I should go.
One of the names I was given, was Dr. Burke. They are located in a house that is directly across from the Urgent Care center on Clarkson Road, and on the same side as Daniel Boone Library. They are amazing! Kathy did us on my jaw and within a few visits, I was able to open my mouth again! Granted, I was still unable to eat solid foods, but the fact that I could fit more than a straw in my mouth was great!
They have a staff of 3 and they are open 6 days a week! If you are having any problems that require a chiropractor, this is your place! They also work with you if you don't have insurance and are pretty reasonable!
