I came here for a Drug test and a spirometry test and seem to have had a very similar experience with dr Shepard and his assistant, he rushed me to get my drug test done, I wasn't quite grasping the spiromery test and was having some difficulty 2 try's later he came in and said "I was giving a d- for effort and was failing his class" kind of reminded me the blonde kid off the karate kid.

In about the most disrespectful way rushing me and trying to get me out of his office I later figured out what I was supposed to do and we got it done, his assistant a older lady came back in and I say hey look we got it done sorry about that miscommunication there I didn't know what you meant am I good to go we all set in the nicest way possible cause we'll he kinda embarrassed me. The lady turns to me in the most disrespectful way possible and says "I explained to you twice how do you not understand that huh I feel like a child could"

I have been waiting for 2 hours for a simple drug and physical test for my job! I live 1 hour away and I have a newborn baby and he seems to not care that I'm waiting here. He seems more focused on his chiropractor patients more. I think they need a doctor or just do one thing and not multiple things.

His staff is always professional and courteous. He does care about each patient. His adjustments are completely effective. I had a time with vertigo and he was the only help I got. The MD that I had seen prescribed motion sickness pills. I didn't want to have to take pills, so I went to see Dr. Shepherd. I am so glad that I made that decision!

The staff at Dr Sheherds office is awesome, the get you in, on the therapy beds quickly, and Dr. Shepherd is the best at adjusting you, he knows his stuff!

I saw Dr. Shepard on referral from a friend. I was in massive pain and could not walk on my own or stand straight or sit for that matter. Between his therapies and that of the massage therapist, 7 days later not only was I walking again, but found I was out of pain and could bend in ways people take for granted. I continued to see them both for a few months.

Whenever I feel like I need an adjustment, Dr. Shepherd is the only Chiropractor I will even consider. (I've seen others & their 'new tech. $$$) I still to this day recommend Dr. Shepherd to anyone I come in contact with. He KNOWS what he's doing! Moreover, he Understands the human body and will tell you his honest opinion and what to expect. Thank you so much Shep.!

I've been seeing Dr. Shepherd for couple years now. He helped me recover from a very painful back injury. I believe some of the reviews on here are not accurate as I've only ever known him to be a genuine person and a solid professional. I recommend him to my friends and family on a regular basis.

Traveling from nevada, i found myself crumpled up and in desperate need of an adjustment. Dr. Shepard had me in in no time and adjusted me better than my own chiropractor ever has. Dr. Sheppard even offered for me to come back for a free second adjustment that same day if i was still in town stating it would give me the best opportunity to heal up properly. The staff was professional and curtious. I am very greatful for such a good experience.

By far, one of the best chiropractors I've been to, and I've been to a bunch. Dr. Shepherd and staff always care. He takes the time to talk to each one of his patients, but keeps things moving. Therapy options are awesome. We've been cash pay patients, up until now, but after having a family member in need of insurance-covered care, I've found that they're great with that too. Don't go anywhere else in Placerville, they're the best!

Excellent local chiro. Matt has a professional and easy going demeanor. Adjustments are always helpful and lasting. The staff here are friendly, professional, and thorough. I've been seeing Matt and staff off and on for over 4 years. Chiropractic is a wonderful addition to a personal preventative Health practice.

I knew Matt when he first started out and he had great customer care and personal professionalism in is work even back then over 20 years ago. Today he is better then ever before, and has donated his time and effort to help many in different parts of the world. I recommend Dr. Shepherd to everybody. You can't get anyone better.

We love Dr. Shepherd! His bedside manner is superb AND his adjustments are amazingly EFFECTIVE! We love that he is so gentle and effective! We feel that chiropractic care has made a great difference in our lives. My husband is 73 and I am 65 and we take no medication!
