Be very careful. Being in the sales profession I found a # of like kind practices. A few scary snake oil pitches too. Deceptive, high pressure. I went for knee pain. Wrong spot. I'm sure he's good with adjustments on your neck & back, but stay away if you've got knee pain. Just food for thought, why do negative reviews have 40+ like and positive reviews have 1 or 2?

I have been taking my kids here for years. Each of them have their own set of issues and Dr. Beavers and Dr. Abate have been phenomenal. They spend the time needed to understand the situation and history, and take the time to clearly explain what is going on and their recommended treatment plan. They're never condescending and treat you with respect.

Staff is also friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend them for a variety of health issues, not just the typical spine adjustment we normally think of when thinking about chiropractors.

Love Dr Marianne. She always knows how to reduce pain in my hot spots. Have been a patient for over a decade. Have moved away and still drive over an hour to come back. Staff is also wonderful - especially Jamie.

Dr. Beavers has a great sense of how to move my spine! I came in with severe lower back pain from heavy exercise and he was able to make me pain free over the course of a few months. The office staff is friendly too. I highly recommend this place for chiropractic care

Both doctors and all the offoce staff are extremely nice and helpful. I have called to make appointments with short notice and have always been able to get in. They doctors are extremely invested I thier patients and provide amazing care. They have helped with my hip and back pain and even some blood flow issues in my arms. Don't fall for their latest "knee pain" fix advertisements. You'll arrive and get sent to the Dr.'s office to watch a half hour video about people with knee pain and what causes it. It honestly seemed like a Saturday Night skit reel. Super strange environment, and it's just a sales appointment - not an appointment with the goal of physical improvement. Total waste of time. Dr. Beavers is very strange too - not personable at all.

Horrible service. Did not help me at all and in fact made it worse. I have now learned what a good chiropractor looks like and have realized how bad he did.

Meh. They were very nice but the prices really are insane. Brought my 9 month old here and paid $150 for them to do very few pressure points and that was pretty much it. Did not seem to have any value

This office is not only Professional (with a capital P) but also CARING for the patient and your experience. They are here to listen and work with you. They will appreciate what you have to say and treat you with respect.

I really can't say enough good things about Dr. Abate, she has healing hands and is quite wonderful. Highly educated, never once was I confused or questioning anything that she said, she's happy to break things down so that the average Joe can understand while still maintaining a level of expertise in her explanations that makes you feel at ease and comforted that she knows what she's doing.

After all, chiropractics can be a very delicate art. Whenever I would get adjusted, regardless of my ailment, I would leave feeling refreshed, relatively pain-free (depending on severity of my issue, ) and ready to face the day. I have a fairly physical job so a once a week appointment is recommended for maintenance. I would come in and see her on a daily basis if I could LOL!

And from mere word-of-mouth -now have friends and family interested in coming in to see her. I know that as a joint business with her husband, her husband is wonderful as well (my male employer sees him.) Best of the best right here folks!

I had an episode of vertigo for the first time in my life and it was horrible. Couldn't sleep, couldn't work, nauseous. Went to see Dr. Abate and she did some tests and maneuvers, plus adjustments to help eliminate the vertigo. I felt a little better almost immediately, then went home and slept a few hours, woke up and it was GONE! I'm so amazed and impressed but mostly so grateful! All an urgent care would've done was prescribed medication that makes you drowsy - this FIXED the problem! Thank you sooo much, Dr. Abate!

I've been to so many chiropractic offices and I have never seen such amazing service. Today was my first visit and I am in awe, pure shock! Definitely the hands down best experience I have ever had! I took my littles daughter to get adjusted for the first time to a limp her lil baby self has and she was not having anyone touching her. The chiropractor spent an hour warming my daughter up to her and made it super clear she wasn't comfortable with forced touch as it will cause my daughter to not trust her!

From a parents point of view that's amazing! They care about her health, her well being her diet and her over all well being! I couldn't get this service even at a physicians office! If I can swear by or promise anything it would be that you would get the most upstanding service and absolutely love this facility and the people in it!

I have been a patient of this office since 2013;receiving two separate series of treatments for a major scoliosis, back and hip pain. My treatment plan is thoroughly discussed ahead of time and carried out with complete competence by Dr. Maryann Abate. She has improved my overall general health, physical function and greatly improved my quality of life.

Her entire team is professional and courteous and the office is clean and conveniently located. I have referred over a dozen people to this office and each person has been completely satisfied.

I was desperate to find an answer to my chronic back issues so I ignored the negative reviews about this place. They seemed fine at first, "Dr." Beavers pretended to know what was wrong with me. I spent quite a bit of money here and did the program for a few months. Every appointment after the initial interview was a cookie cutter treatment, same as the last.

I stuck with it despite my doubts because I wanted to give it a solid try. Eventually though, it became obvious that the chiropractor had no idea what was wrong with me because his treatment caused a regression of my condition. Not for people looking for answers or wanting personalized treatment. Also I realize now that they had pulled up my X-ray on a screen that was out of ratio making my scoliosis look much more severe than it actually is, just like some other reviewers stated. If you're considering going here, message some of the reviewers.

Dr. Beavers and Dr. Abates are amazing and did wonders for my back. I went in one Wednesday when I hurt my back at work. Not only did they fit me in ASAP they worked wonders on my back. When I went in I could barely move without debilitating pain. When I walked out I could function normally. Now I see them on a normal basis and there is never a wait and always a pleasant face when I walk in.

Now I look forward to every adjustment. They are always willing to listen on how you feel and what is going on with your issues. They adjust your treatment based on how you are doing I don't seem like I am just another number. Everyone in the office is invested on your health and how you are doing.

Doctor Beavers is an incredible source of knowledge. My teenage son has had a litany of wear-and-tear injuries and issues--typical for a soccer player of his age and caliber--and Dr. Beavers has proven to be a great and reliable source for treatment. The recent addition of Laser Therapy has been a blessing to my son (sprained ankle) and, even more recently, myself--as I have seen firsthand the benefits of Laser Therapy in my recovery from a Full Knee Replacement.

After a recent automobile accident, I came to Better Health Chiropractic to be checked out. The staff is professional, yet warm and welcoming. The chiropractor team of Dr Beavers and Dr Abate got me back on track quickly with an up front plan to repair the injuries. The adjustments are always on time, no lobby wait and they even have a massage therapist on site who is wonderful at the deep tissue massage. If you are shopping for a chiropractor, stop your search and give them a try.

Dr. Beavers and his staff are wonderful people! They're always welcoming, friendly and are very sweet to our kids. This was the first time I visited a chiropractor. I really didn't think it would do much for me. After a couple visits I had less back and neck pain. I really started to feel good again after my car accident. Jamie also gives the best massages! Moved to this area a few months ago and was referred to Dr. Abate by my previous chiropractor after involvement in a motor vehicle accident. Although my personal progress has had highs and lows, the staff are supportive, encouraging and accessible at all times. In addition, this business has been voted the Best of the Best for 6 years running. They are deserving of this honor. I would highly recommend this office to anyone in need of chiropractic care. Dr. Abate and her staff are the BEST.

My first trip in to see the good doctor was all about why I felt so crappy. He didn't perform any adjustment but spent a good amount of time looking in to why I hurt and how to solve the problem. I really appreciate that they take the time to develop a plan of action in order to serve you. The staff of ladies are very friendly and efficient! I have had chronic back pain for the last 15 years and I have been to several doctors who make an adjustment here and some ice there.

I have been seeking treatment from BHC for five weeks and I feel great! In fact I feel better than I have felt in many years! I am Glad I came here to get help. You should try it!

Outstanding service. I was in a terrible car accident in February and went to see Dr. Beavers. I was given a very thorough screening and he developed a recovery plan for me and never charged me a dime. Everything was done with the car insurance. I was in so much pain when I first started and am a million times better now without any pain meds! He is the best there is.

This place has high pressure sales tactics and when you don't cave, they treat you badly. I went here when I first moved to town, I was just looking for the occasional adjustment nothing too serious. When I called to schedule my first appointment the receptionist was friendly and I was relieved to get in within a couple of days. What did surprise me was the long and exhaustive evaluation/consultation. Fancy machines and x-rays but no adjustment.

I had to return 2 days later to view the results. They suggested my husband attend as well. None of this was explained to me prior to my appointment. That bothered me. Once at the appointment the Dr. was really intense and exaggerated tons of conditions in my back and neck. He insisted that I would only "deteriorate" if we didn't establish a treatment plan immediately.

Once he got me freaked out, the the cost comes. $4000 and several months of 3x a week adjustments. It was ridiculous! I am a healthy 30 year old woman who needs an occasional adjustment. I elected to pass. When I returned several weeks later for a quick little adjustment the Dr. actually confronted me. I was really uncomfortable and told him that I didn't feel I needed such an intense treatment plan. Yeah he didn't like that. It was a horribly uncomfortable situation. I will never return here again.

I am amazed at my results! I came as a last resort for pain in my sacrum caused by a car accident. I wish it was the first place I would've gone. Both Dr. Beavers and Dr. Abate are extremely professional, punctual and friendly. The front staff are amazing as well. The initial exam is very thorough and I felt very comfortable being adjusted. I was extremely skeptical- but after 2 months of adjustments I am able to sit on the floor to play with my daughter and have been taken off 4 prescribed medications. I cannot say enough about Better Health Chiro.

I am 32 years old and have been seeing a chiropractor since i was 10. After 2 major injuries in the last year to each of my shoulders, my prior chiropractor was not meeting expectations. The last shoulder injury cost me over $900 in co-pays and out of pocket care with my prior chiropractor, bowen therapy, physical therapy and acupuncture. On the advice of a good friend i made an appointment with Dr. Beavers.

After several xrays and exams, i started care. 3 weeks later the extreme amount of pain in my left shoulder had ceased to the point that normal every day activities (including working) no longer caused me to reach for the pain pills my MD has prescribed. Like any "medical treatment" it can be expensive, however the amount of money spent out of pocket (crappy kaiser!), is nothing compared to the amount of work i missed, discomfort and time lost with my family.

My follow up exam is showed improvement in my posture, a drastic reduction in symptoms and pain along with other ailments (headaches, nerve tingling, ect) that was all tied into the extreme amount of shoulder pain i was experiencing. I highly recommend BHC and Dr. Beavers team. Very forgiving of my crazy schedule and easy to talk to. I have been walked though each step of the treatment and recovery process including homework and exercises. Not every doctor is a fit for every person, but for me, Dr. Beavers is giving me the gift of a pain free morning and increased energy.

I found them when I was in a bad car accident 2 years, and they truly care about their patients. I go every other day still for treatment (or at least I am supposed to) and they are always very understanding about last minute appointment changes. They truly know what to do for pain management and are always sweet to my son who is 7. I totally disagree with Samar R's comment.

They are excellent doctors and people. A husband and wife team that truly care, which is RARE this day in age. They also treated my son for asthma and his health improved alot. I bet you didn't even know chiropractic had a treatment for asthma. Check them out!
