Dr. Hecht's staff is friendly, knowledgable and easy to work with - Jannelle was able to get me in immediately after I suffered a sports-related injury. Dr. Hecht is personable, compassionate and was able to "fix" me in 2 sessions. And perhaps best of all, he was not like other chiropractors I've worked with who want to keep you coming back forever. He wanted to help me as quickly and efficiently as possible, and help me he did.

In my first visit, Charles had me feeling so much better! It was my second 'pinched nerve' and neck seizure in as many months. In the 6 months I've been seeing him now, I've discovered I have a rare connective tissue disorder. Charles read a bunch of information I sent him along the way, modified my treatment plan, and takes it into consideration each and every visit. I feel very cared for and listened to at this practice. I am so very greatfull they are a part of my healing team!

I can't say enough good about Dr Hecht. I first started seeing him many years ago after a car accident, and after some back problems a few years ago, made a point to make regular visits to head off problems. Dr Hecht is professional, but friendly, and sincerely cares about his patients. He also knows when a problem needs more serious intervention than what he can provide; he prioritizes the patient's safety and care over just having more visits to his practice.
Everyone in the office is amazing, . I don't hesitate to recommend him to anyone, and after trying other chiropractors who were closer to where I lived, I learned he was well worth the drive from Durham to Chapel Hill.

I had always been wary of going to a chiropractor, but increasing intensity of chronic back pain lead me to check out PiHW after they were recommended by a coworker. My first visit I was extremely anxious and nervous, but Jenelle's gentle kindness and Dr. Hecht's humor and thorough explanations put me at ease. I've been going for about 6 weeks now and I can't imagine how I got by without Dr. Hecht's skill and expertise. My posture has improved, my back/neck/shoulder pain has subsided, my sciatica alleviated, and my head aches have all but vanished. I look forward to each appointment I book!

I have been seeing Dr. Hecht for years now. Both He and Jenelle have been accommodating to get me in, they are always kind, and informative. I always feel listened to and my issues addressed. Dr. Hecht is knowledgeable in so many areas from Western medicine to complimentary medicine. I was recently having trouble with nerve pain and not sleeping (bulging disc), and after one treatment the pain was gone.
He also helped me when I had whiplash and the insurance company wasn't playing nice with us. He took the reins and professionally de-escalated a very ugly situation. Even calling me on off hours to discuss the details. I am a bodyworker myself and am VERY picky about who I let treat me. I highly recommend Dr. Hecht and have referred a lot of my own clients and friends to him.

Dr. Hecht is brilliant. He has improved my quality of life tremendously and I can't believe how much better I feel. After visiting several chiropractors with no improvement I thought I would just have to accept that I would often be in pain. I feel Dr. Hecht is so great at what he does because his compassion for his patients and commitment to healing them is what fuels him to be the exceptional chiropractor that he is.

I go to Dr Hecht for acupuncture treatments for chronic pain and especially acute inflammation that is not responding to my usual therapies. He is extremely knowledgeable about chronic pain, neuropathies and the challenges of treating those conditions. He's very kind and compassionate and listens to what you say. Highly recommend him.

Dr Charles Hecht is the best chiropractor I've found in all my years. When I moved to town I brought with me some severe back problems and a lot of concern about finding a good Chiropractic Doctor. He has far exceeded my expectations. He's become a friend who is extremely knowledgeable not just about basic Chiropractic Spinal Care but full body Health.
He coaches on nutrition and treats other skeletal problems like wrist pain and knee joints and pretty much everything I need. Everything I managed to break doing workouts, Charles finds a way to help me fix.

I absolutely love coming here. I've been under Dr. Hechts care since late 2012. He helped me regain my work and fitness routine back after weeks of horrible back pain. Even though it is typically a 35 min commute I don't mind it due to the outstanding treatment I continuously receive. The receptionists ladies are always very friendly :
