Been having pain in my left shoulder for over a year. I play golf often, and it was getting challenging to swing a club. I tried the steroid shot, which worked for a few months, decided to try acupuncture. Thank goodness! I started with Ji Yoon at Holistic Health center about 6 weeks ago, and after each session I feel better. The pain level has dropped from 5/6 to a 1/2. It's very manageable now.

This review is for Shelley. She has been instrumental in my healing process. When I began seeing her, I was new to acupuncture and skeptical. I was also quite desperate for pain relief and willing to try something new. Acupuncture appealed to me because it didn't require putting prescription pain killers in my body. I was tired of trying pain medicines and had very little relief from them.

They made me sick and I was worried about dependency. It took some time and work on my part to be patient and relax, but Shelly helped me with that and over time the relief I had from treatments with her began to grow. Initially the relief was temporary but that was significant to me because I couldn't find temporary relief anywhere else. When my injury was acute, sleeping was incredibly difficult.

After a session with Shelley, I was able to relax and sleep. With time the amount of rest I could sustain grew. Her treatments continue to be something I look forward to and benefit from. She also accepted my health insurance which was a huge bonus for me. I know my insurance company wasn't easy for her to deal with, but she never let that come between us and was always genuinely interested in helping me recover. I'm very grateful that I found her and highly recommend to anyone looking for pain relief and sleep help. Shelley is open to adjusting treatments to best accommodate her patients so if you have any concerns or questions bring them to your appointment.

It's not just because I'm here every day of the week. But when I get treatment I feel so much better. I've only know about acupuncture for less than a year but I know it's something I will keep recommending for the rest of my life. This place is working it even after I move.

I've seen both master Hide and Sachi and they are, without contest, the best acupuncturists I've ever worked with. I see Sachi regularly, and she has helped me through many physical issues that Western medicine barely touched. Sachi is incredibly gentle and effective -- I almost never feel the needles, but always feel their benefit. All the staff here -- including the wonderful receptionist and acupuncturists I haven't even worked with before -- are friendly, pleasant, and welcoming. There is a lovely atmosphere, and I am blessed to be able to come here.

Ben Lee is the best acupuncturist I have experienced. Not only is he funny, gentle, and enjoyable to work with, but he is also extremely intelligent, thoughtful, and diligent about treatment planning, offering a comprehensive approach to wellness. Ben has effectively supported me over the past few years with hormone regulation, digestive issues, back/hip pain, headaches, and circulation issues, offering a combination of herbal support, soft tissue release, cupping, e-stim, and needle work.

I never expect instant relief from treatments and cannot claim guaranteed improvement, but I can say I have been consistently surprised going in to visits with low energy or specific body complaints and leaving with significant improvement. So happy to have found Ben and Holistic Health Center.

Sharlene's ability to find knots and issues and then focus on them until they are resolved is awesome. Many therapists give a standard massage, but I have been impressed with her attention to what needs to happen each time and making each session worth it.

As someone who deals with a lot of sore muscles and back problems, I can't recommend Sharlene enough. She has an amazing gift. Her ability to find to loosen knots is unbelievable, and she's one of the only therapists I've been to who can provide both a relaxing and deep tissue massage at the same time. I can't recommend her enough and would encourage anyone who is looking for the best massage in South Bay to give her a try.

Sharlene has been my go-to massage therapist for the last year. She comes to our home and I find her to be professional and very hard working. Sharlene is a GREAT massage therapist who can do wonders for back pain, sore legs and more. She has helped me tremendously with my tennis elbow. Sharlene is the most skilled massage therapist I've had the fortune of finding. She's really in tune with the body's needs. I get deep tissue work done from her and she not only gets the trouble spots, but also takes care of all the connecting muscles that cause those issues in the first place. You'll definitely feel how much she cares about getting you back into top form. Sharlene is the only person I trust for deep tissue work.

Sharlene is amazing. I get massages just about every other week and I'm extremely picky when it comes to massage therapists. Others usually stick to a standard massage they do for every client. Sharlene is different. She tailors her massage to what you need and helps you understand what she's trying to do. I work out a lot and am constantly dealing with pain and tension. Sharlene is the only person who has worked at getting all my knots out and also explained the best ways to prevent them in the first place. Sharlene is one of the best knot hunters I know. When she is done, you will feel like jello. On top of that, she is a very nice person and cares about her clients.

So what I can I say what an amazing massage I got from Sharlene. She is very personable and really takes the time to ask you what you need. She can be deep if you need that to relief all those pressure points or soft for a more relaxing massage. She is just great! I highly recommend her.
