Joseph Medlin has 20 years of experience in rehabilitating the spine from acute and chronic injuries. As an outdoorsman and avid fly fisherman, he himself has experienced sports injuries and their debilitating effects, so he has first-hand insight to his patients' conditions and the road ahead.At the Life West Chiropractic College in the Bay Area, Dr. Medlin learned many spinal adjustment techniques, some of which are not offered at other institutions.

Dr. Medlin provides a variety of state-of-the-art adjusting techniques and is an extremely skilled adjuster. After examining the patient, he will determine the most appropriate adjustment technique for you. Physical Therapy / Exercise and Massage and Tissue work are performed by Dr. Medlin at each treatment.
Whether you're new to chiropractic care or an "old pro" we'd like to give you a brief synopsis on what to expect on your first visit to our office. Dr Medlin will sit down with you and go over your intake forms. He will discuss your complaints and go over your concerns. He will question you at length during this time in order to help him understand what and why may be the source of your troubles or concerns.
We happily accept MOST insurance coverage and will do all the billing. It is advisable for the patient to verify their chiropractic benefits before coming into the office. Please do not assume that you have coverage without confirming it with your insurance carrier. Ultimately, it is the patient's responsibility to be aware of their health coverage.

Excellent service from Dr. Medlin and staff. I was hit by a terrible driver and Dr. Medlin had a hands-on approach I appreciated after seeing chiropractors in the past who thought quality care was to have me sit and he hooked up to a shock machine for thirty minutes several times a week. With Dr. Medlin, i felt results and improvement throughout treatment and that combined with massage therapy in-office, I was really impressed. Thanks!

I don't normally write a bad review but i don't want others to waste their time and money. The staff was extremely rude the lady at the front desk falsified my medical pre paperwork. She said the system was down and then just made up information instead of asking. The doctor spend less then 10min with me and did not follow up on treatment or other options.

Dr Medlin treated my back pain after I was injured by a car as a pedestrian. It was a great experience! He was very clear about my treatment plan and how long it would take to get me back on track. He provides a mix of muscle relaxation, adjustment, stretching and strengthening. The instruction and repetition of stretching and strengthening was more than I've ever gotten from other chiropractors, and It was just right for my recovery. I felt pretty hopeless going in and am pretty amazed at my progress!

Dr. Medlin has been very helpful in dealing with my pain issues. He's provided me with knowledge on how to take care of myself as well as adjusted me and helped to relieve me of ongoing pain issues. I always feel better after a visit with Dr. Medlin. I can't recommend him enough. He's also super friendly and is always very pleasant. If you are looking for a good chiropractor, Dr. Medlin is your man.
