Was here visiting a friend in SD from SF and she referred me here. Super happy she did, I've been struggling to find time for myself since I gave birth in November and needed an adjustment. They were super responsive, professional and sweet. Rosie greeted me and I felt immediately welcomed. They had fancy equipment here to check my spine and hand strength which I've never done before, but loved it.

And every room was so clean and inviting. I was taken care of by Dr. Hook and was so impressed with how thorough he was with the consultation. He took great care of me and was so easy to talk to! After we were done, I felt brand new! Highly recommend if anyone is in search of a chiropractor!

I had my first appointment at Life Chiropractic Center today. Being greeted by Rosie made me feel welcomed and at ease. Meeting Dr. Hook was a nice surprise as he was very relaxed, friendly, honest, and loves what he does. He educated me about the anatomy and physics of my spine and he conducted a thorough examination of my neck, back, body mechanics and vitals.

I had not been adjusted in over 18 years and had my first adjustment with Dr. Hook and I will be back for more. A big thank you to Dr. Hook for a cathartic experience and a big thank you to Rosie for being so pleasant and running a smooth operation.

I have been coming here for over a year now and the atmosphere is amazing. I can't say enough good things about Dr. James and Rosie; simply amazing. The adjustments have done wonders for my back as well as my overall health. Great service and great people.

I have been going here for years and I love it so much! The space is so warm and welcoming and Rosie and Dr. James are some of the kindest spirits ever : It's delightful to work with them. Dr. Hook is amazing. I go every Monday to start my week off right. He knows exactly what he's doing and truly tries to find out what you need help with. And look at the view. Highly recommend

Life chiropractic is absolutely amazing! I was in a horrible car accident many years ago and lived with back pain that was getting worse over time. After going untreated for years I was referred to Life Chiropractic Center I was told that they could help me, it was the best decision I made to get an appointment and get checked out. The process was so easy and everyone there is so welcoming and friendly.

We made a treatment plan and got started right away! They worked with my schedule and made every visit amazing. I no longer have daily pain and if I'm ever in need of an adjustment they make sure to get me in asap so I can get on with life without pain. This place is awesome. I've been dealing with back issues for a while. Doctor Hook took me through a thorough exam to determine the problem and now after his professional help I am back to good and hitting my normal day to day activities. Awesome people, very kind, very honest! Highly recommend!

Visiting Life Chiropractic Center is one of the highlights of each week. Dr. James and Rosie are incredibly welcoming, down to earth, truly care about their patients and practice. After 20 years in the military, everything hurts and Dr. James manages to make everything feel better during his continued, and well priced, care. He does all of this while also engaging with my 4 and 6 year old daughters, who also love coming with me just to play with a skeleton, and see Dr. James and Rosie.

He has excellent plans with a wide variety of options which I have also used to enroll my 6 year old daughter so he could successfully solve her bed wetting problem. I would recommending this practice for whatever ails your body.

This place is amazing. Being a super active guy chiropractic work is necessary for me. Every time I leave this office I feel taller. Dr. James really does a great job of communicating with me and understanding my individual needs as a patient. They are really great about being flexible and getting me in there when I need it.

I found Dr James based on reviews and proximity to my house. After just a couple visits i know I'd travel across town to see him if i ever move. It's not what I have experienced in the past. Dr James is so wonderful. I started going here after a friend recommended me to their office. I am a dancer so I suffer with constant back spasms which usually leave me pretty limited in movement. Dr James really fixed me up with weekly adjustments, I haven't had a spasm in months. Everyone at the office is always so kind. Rosie is great, she is so welcoming and friendly. And conversation with Dr James is always easy. I would recommend this place to everyone!

I'm no stranger to chiropractic adjustments but yesterday was my first time seeing Dr. James. I was in pain from a recent snowboarding fall and I couldn't get in to see my regular doctor for an adjustment. I was in the area and called hoping that they could squeeze me in. The receptionist, I can't recall her name right now, was very warm and welcoming.

She worked things out so that I could come in and get adjusted. Dr. James was very welcoming and spent time performing and exam as well as explaining the way he operates his practice. After an initial exam and some questioning he took me in to get adjusted. I'm an extremely inflexible person that has tight muscles which typically makes it difficult to get a good adjustment on me. Dr. James tried multiple methods in order to get me to adjust. I walked out feeling much much better than when I walked. This practice is very professional, knowledgeable and approachable. I'll be back for sure.

The absolute only place to go to. The program works. The staff is amazing and they really treat you with respect. They are very down to earth which is very refreshing. Kevin B

My parents have gone here for 30+ years and now my wife and toddler come here too. The level of care is amazing. Rosie is such a lovely person to see each visit, and loves the kiddos that come in! They care about more than $, they want you to feel better!

I did not write a review of this place at the time of my visit, because the whole experience felt CREEPY and UNCOMFORTABLE, but after checking my junk mail folder and still seeing adds from this office, I decided it was time. I worked for a non-profit mental health organization where Dr. Lauren delivered a presentation called Live to Age 100 (or something like that), after which she booked appointments for screenings at Life Chiropractic. Lauren seemed knowledgeable and kind, and the appointment seemed worthwhile, so I signed up for it.

Upon entering my appointment, I was greeted by Dr. Lauren, who promptly introduced me to Dr. Matt, her husband, whom she explained would be working with me. I went through a number of screenings over the course of an hour or so, and was asked to come back the following week for the results. During this second appointment, Dr. Matt took me to a small room and proceeded to deliver a VERY HIGH PRESSURED SALES PITCH by claiming my spine was in seriously poor condition (I've never experienced any problems in my life).

Just to paint a picture, Matt is an imposing 6'5, and towered over me while explaining the multi-thousand dollar cost options. He verbally cornered me and then asked the question, not if but, "How are you going to pay for this?" Matt knew exactly what he was doing. He was trying to BULLY me into paying his office thousands of dollars. It was obvious he had studied sales techniques. (As a side note, I notice the business claiming they have thousands of satisfied customers in their defense of one star reviews, but the truth is, of those thousands, many are probably too intimidated to say otherwise. Again, BULLYING TECHNIQUES).

This office employs a calculated approach to sales using a bait and switch technique (Laura for Matt) and INTIMIDATION. Upon consulting with my colleagues, they shared similar stories about their experiences at this office as well. Chiropractic work is supposed to be about healing, and this whole experience felt very STRESSFUL and frankly UNETHICAL to me.

It really left a bad taste in my mouth toward the whole profession. My colleagues and I were able to relay this information up to the COO of our company, who apologized to us for inviting their presentation to our premises, and assured us that they will no longer be welcome. I STRONGLY DISCOURAGE ANY COMPANY FROM HOSTING THEIR PRESENTATIONS OR ANY INDIVIDUALS FROM BEING LURED INTO THIS OFFICE!

Highly recommended for athletes! Go see Dr. Matt! I thought I was in good shape because I run, lift, play sports, and have a physically demanding job. Turns out I was missing a major component of overall physical health. After feeling a strange and painful pop in my neck while doing some pull-ups, I followed my girlfriends advice and tried chiropractic.

I was skeptical, thinking that I was in good shape and there was nothing chiropractic care would really do for me. I WAS WRONG! Turns out, while I was fine in the muscle and endurance departments, I was seriously lacking in flexibility, mobility, and posture. Dr. Pennetti and his team taught me several stretches and exercises to help rejuvenate my spine and give me greater range of motion.

When I first tried the exercises I realized how tight and limited my mobility really was. I could barely hold a position of good posture for more than 20 seconds. After sticking with the exercises and adjustments for a few months I have experienced a drastic change in my daily life. Not only do I feel better, but I run faster, lift heavier, have more endurance, feel taller?!?!, and have had several people close to me say that my posture has completely changed.

I know many people think of chiropractic care when it comes to injuries, etc, but I HIGHLY recommend it for athletes and those looking to continue an active lifestyle for a long time to come. Thanks Dr. Matt!

Life Chiropractic Center is absolutely amazing, and the staff there really seem to genuinely care about your well-being, which makes it feel like you're greeting friends every time you walk through the door. Anyway, I was urged by my boyfriend to contact them after suffering for about 7-8 years from cluster headaches (and 20+ years from migraines).

It had gotten to a point where my head was hurting so much that I'd cry sometimes out of sheer frustration. It was not uncommon for me to have migraines five out of seven days a week -- cluster headaches were probably bi-monthly but were completely debilitating. My quality of life was poor, but I'd just gotten used to it and accepted that this was how I had to live.

Within the first week of getting treatment with Dr. Matt, my migraines had already lessened. Within the first month, I was practically migraine-free. I've been going 3x a week for 3-4 months now, and I almost never get migraines now (vs the almost daily pain I had to deal with). Everyone here knows what they're doing, and I feel so blessed to have found such a wonderful place.

If you're skeptical and/or a migraine sufferer, I urge you to give it a try. I went into it without any expectations but was blown away by how much of a difference it made in my life.

Like many people I was skeptical of what a chiropractor could do to help me. As a veteran I knew that my four years in the service had done some damage but I didn't want to take pain medicine so I looked for other options. There is no better place than Life Chiropractic! I was in an accident when I was a child which has led to many health issues as I became older. I've suffered from numbness in my arms and hands, numbness and tingling at the base of my neck, I suffered from digestive issues, asthma and allergies. I used to think chiropractors just popped your back, that was it.

It is so much more than that! Life Chiropractic really educated me on what they do. They work on your entire nervous system and explained how everything in your body correlates with each other. The passion that I felt from everyone here when they explained what it is that they do has made me a lifetime customer. They treat you like family here and really truly care about your well-being. I've never experienced this at any other office in my entire life and really feel welcome and cared for when I walk in the door. I wouldn't recommend any other place than here. If you are having troubles and just want your body back and to feel great again, go here! You won't regret it!

The whole team at Life Chiropractic treats you as a valued friend and patient. Rosie always greets you as you walk in the door. Dr. Eva has a warm, welcoming smile on her face. And Dr Mary, well, she is love and compassion incarnate. Oh, and the docs know just where "it hurts" and how to attend to it.

Dr. Lauren, Dr. Matt and Rosie are amazing. My wife and I both go here and this is the only office that has ever: A. Actually helped correct a problem B. Thoroughly explained why both myself and my wife have the symptoms we've come in for. (with a plan to fix it) I didn't even know I had an issue with my neck until it was adjusted. When I left the office my new found range of motion was shocking. They're so good at what they do that Dr. Matt knew that I had eaten bad food the day before (even though they both know I typically eat a very healthy diet).

They also know when certain spots are sore without mentioning it. If you've been to another Chiropractor before and you're not sure if it works this place is an absolute must to visit.

Went back in the next day because I had to pick up my X-rays and discuss them with the doctor. Good explanations about plan of care and reasons for needing consistency. Upon working with my insurance, I received a partial credit back on the X-ray cost. The receptionist is nice, but I still would like to see posted costs online or discussed upon scheduling new appts.

Omg how do they not have any reviews yet? Ive been having sciatic pain and after going go the doctors and other chiropractors, these guys right here have made me feel as though my body is getting better in the right path. Thanks again for making me hopeful!

This is a place full of real life superheros. Rosie handles business up front like Bette Davis handles acting. Dr. Mary is like the mom every kid dreams of having. Dr. Ron's the man. Nuff said. Dr. Matt and Dr. Lauren have their own practice in the same building and they handle it like champs. Dean has been a great addition to the family as well.

Their work has changed me for the best and I'd suggest them to anyone who's unsure about chiropractic but has chronic pain that nothing seems to help with. Or ya know, anyone and everyone really.

My wife and I always look forward to our appointments. We've been coming here for almost two years. The staff are wonderful and are always willing to squeeze us in if our schedule changes. We also love the family atmosphere and how bright and cheery the office is.

The doctors at life chiropractic are THE BEST! They go above and beyond for their patients with every visit. I would never recommend another chiropractor to anyone. They even offer short tutorials after hours to reach people exercises that they can do at home for free! Try them out, you won't be disappointed.

I had a great experience working getting an evaluation with these guys. Dr. Matt and Dr. Lauren were both a pleasure to work with and they explained a lot to me about what was going on with my back, neck, and nervous system. I'm looking forward to going back when I get a chance!

Dr. Mary and Ron make an excellent team. Their initial evaluation followed by regular progress exams can allow anyone to easily not only see, but understand improvements in ones health or areas that might need more attention. I have made a 50% improvement in my posture in the last 6 months and can feel the difference in my daily activities, all thanks to regular visits to two wonderful professionals.

Life Chiropractic Center is located in a shopping center in the Clairemont area of San Diego. The waiting room is bright, spacious, and very family-friendly. The staff is very cordial upon entering the office, and always provides excellent customer service. The doctors that work here are very professional and communicate and discuss everything very clearly up front.

Not only have they helped me with my health concerns, but they do so with lots of passion and genuine care. I always recommend friends or family in SD to Life Chiropractic Center if they are interested in receiving the best chiropractic care!

Life Chiropractic Center in the Clairemont area of San Diego is amazing! I have known the husband and wife chiropractors Dr. Ron Oberstein and Dr. Mary Oberstein for most of my life and I can tell you that these are the kind of doctors who have a passion for helping people get well and deliver their gentle healing care with love. If you have a spine and nerve system that needs some care, you will be very happy here.

This chiropractic office is a shame. They are money hungry monsters and do not care for the good of their patients, but for the good of their finances. They put on a friendly front, but do not be fooled. I had a free exam, given to me by a patient of theirs, in July and then when I did not continue with their services they sent me a bill for the exam claiming it was not free. They then threatened to send the bill to collections, blackmailing me and forcing me to pay them. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place.
