We address the underlying causes of joint pain such as posture (this is huge) muscle imbalances, joint alignment and nutrition. Our treatments work to resolve a wide range of joint pain and other health problems by treating the root causes when possible. All joints are subjected to stresses, trauma, and over use. As a result joints in the foot, knee, shoulder etc. can misaligned and ligaments may strain.
After decades of these imbalances surgery may be necessary to repair or replace the joint. However, it makes more sense to maintain joint alignment, muscle balance & ligament health so that surgery and drugs are less likely to be needed as we age.

To be mindful is to be awake and aware in the present. This means that you are focused on what you are doing, when you are doing it. It includes being aware of your body, your posture and how your body feels doing different things. It is also being aware of thoughts and emotions moment by moment, not analyzing, comparing or judging your emotions and thoughts, but noting them.
Water- If you do not keep track of how much water you are drinking then you probably are not drinking enough. By the way, how much is enough? How much to drink is based on body weight. You should be drinking about half of your body weight in ounces. So, if you weight 180 lbs. Sleep- Both quality and length of time you are sleeping are important.
Lifeline Chiropractic is a provider of comprehensive and GENTLE health care designed to correct the underlying cause or causes of health problems, not to simply cover up the pain. Treating the cause of simple health problem such as neck pain, abdominal bloating or headaches is not really simple. That is why most doctors do not attempt to treat the cause of many common health problems, but simply cover up symptoms with medication.
Many people are understandably interested in knowing what type of adjustments we use at Lifeline. Many chiropractors use high force manipulation, the kind where you often hear a crack. Also common are chiropractors who use a lower force hand held adjusting instrument called an activator. A similar tool, usually called an electric adjusting instrument is electric which can give rapid taps, like the activator but at the rate of about 3 per second. There are sustained pressure adjustments where finger pressure is applied to a vertebra over a period of about 20 seconds.

I was in a neck brace and had MRI and CT and was told I needed surgery for my cervical spondylosis. I was in pain from years of working at a computer but the pain was so intense now I couldn't take it. All the Doctors I've seen just want to prescribe pain meds and Surgery was my last resort as I work at a hospital and hear horror stories. I had seen a couple Chiropractors and they didn't do anything for me.
A co-worker recommended Dr. Penniston, so I made an appointment and so glad I took one last leap of faith because after just a couple visits I left pain free after years and years of constant pain I couldn't believe it. He really was my Life line. His knowledge of body mechanics is unprecedented. It's been years and I haven't had to have surgery and if I start to feel any pain I make an appointment and leave pain free. He has done more for me than any other Health care worker I've seen.

This place is amazing! I have lived with hip, back and leg pain for over 20 years and Dr Penniston found the route of the problem and treated me. I went about 6 times, he gave me stretches to do daily and I now only go to stay in alignment. I wish I would have discovered him years ago. What a life changer.

Greg is very good at manipulation. He is not like the cracker packers that I have gone to before. Very gentle in adjustments. He believes in muscle testing and even though it seems weird it works and so do the supplements. I have been going to Lifeline for many years and have recommended Greg to several of my friends. He is the only Chiropractor that I have not had to visit on a regular basis, which to me means that he is doing a great job. I go for a tune up about every other month. Really would recommend to anyone who needs a good chiropractor.

This is a true 5+ star business! Anyone can rate a place 5 stars based on one treatment, but I'm talking about a lifetime of wonderful care here. I have had some "funky" issues throughout my life so far, and he has always been the one to provide me with answers and a plan to get better. If you need help, especially if you're sick of being sent from one specialist to the next, make an appointment!

I have been seeing Dr. Penniston for about 6 months. His style of Chiropractic is quite advanced - he focuses on dealing with the root of the issue, not just wrenching you into place. He is very tuned into applied kinesiology, nutrition and cranial sacral therapy. He is also very knowledgeable regarding supplements. I was referred to Dr. Penniston by my Doctor in Colorado when I moved down here last year. I couldn't be happier.

Greg's a great guy and a great DC. He doesn't do alot of the wrenching and twisting, but he's effective and he's active in quite a few sports, so he knows that telling you to stop playing and having fun is not an option. The address listed is no longer accurate. The new location is just down on 22nd street about a mile or so from the Craycroft spot.
