I'm very happy to have found Dr.Nishimoto -- I was having a ton of back pain from my two jobs (sitting too much at one and standing too much at the other) and with some treatment, he helped alleviate the pain and tension in my back. He was also very helpful with giving me ways to stretch at home to relieve some of the tension in my back. Karen, his wife, is always very kind, friendly and helpful whenever I go. I am often forgetful or schedule things incorrectly but she is always helpful and gives me appointment reminder cards. Highly recommend! Also, I am with Kaiser and they are in my network.

Best chiropractor in West LA! Very professional, attentive, respectful.

He provides a brief neck/back massage to loosen up stiff joints before providing treatment which is an added bonus! Conveniently located in Westwood, off Wilshire blvd, it is convenient for anyone crossing Beverly Hills, UCLA, or in Westwood.

Also, takes several different insurance plans which help prevent expensive costs.

They are very kind and flexible when it comes to no shows, or cancellations. Convenience is key!

Dr.N is very knowledgeable on the field, a fellow UCLA alum, and has been in practice for decades. He provides insight and feedback on how to improve my posture. I look forward to all my appointments, and its always a pleasure coming in.

Only con, is parking can be a hassle, but that is expected in any high rise building in a big city like LA.

He is a fantastic chiropractor. For the past years I have had issues with a pain in my lower back (pregnancy and post pregnancy bad posture). I have found Brian via list of my insurance network providers and after years of trying massages and PT I had very little improvement. I have decided to give him a try based on proximity of my work and yelp reviews. I have read that some chiropractors try to provide unnecessary services and if you have not seen any improvement after 3 appointments you should stop. It is also important to attend to someone who is knowledgeable, experienced and properly educated in the field. I must say Brian is extremely professional and he is also very honest about what can and cannot be done. He is never doing some fancy unnecessary stuff just solid adjustments, ultrasound and also recommends some exercises that can be done at home which can provide improvement and relief. I must say after the first visit the day after I was in tremendous pain (I would compare it to the one you would feel after very intense workout) as I have ignored his advice to ice the area in the evening. I have decided to return to him second time and told him about my pain and he advised me to ice so I iced and the pain was almost insignificant this time. After 3rd visit 80% improvement!!!! I just could not believe it. After years of dull pain and discomfort such a tremendous improvement. For the first one month I had weekly visits later on biweekly (it was decided depending on the level of pain I was in) and now I go maybe every 4-6 weeks. 8 months later I have very minimal lower back ache probably not gone completely due to my awful posture at the desk hence I continue going to see Brian every now and then but the difference compared to what it was in the past is heaven and earth. I also have to mention that his wife Karen who runs the front desk is extremely nice, efficient and accommodating (including forgiving me for forgetting about several appointments). In summary I am a very happy patient and would recommend Brian as a chiropractor to anyone

I've had two back injures (in 2014 and 2016) and had chronic back pain since. I was limited from doing many physical activities, as simple as sitting (for long periods of time), planking, lifting, running, etc. I've been to a chiropractor once before coming to Dr. Nishimoto and had a horrible experience. I also went to physical therapy and did acupuncture to get rid of my back pain. I even started going to yoga regularly until I had two different yoga instructors suggest I go to a chiropractor on various occasions. I was hesitant, but my back pain became so unbearable that I caved in. Browsing through my insurance coverage, I found Dr. Nishimoto and started visiting him this past April. I feared that I had irreversible spinal damage, but Dr. Nishimoto said my spine was compressed and needed realignment. He also suggested that I go to Pilates and do other exercises that will help strengthen my back. I saw him on a weekly basis until I started feeling less pain and we started spacing our sessions a little further a part.
Long story short, I've had chronic pain for the past 5+ years and tried many services to alleviate my pain. In addition to my back improving, Dr. Nishimoto also helped with my swimmer shoulders that I barely even told him. I've had major shoulder pain due to years of competitive swimming and with his help... my pain is gone. It only took Dr. Nishimoto 3 months to dissipate my pain. For the first time in a long time, my pain is gone! I definitely don't miss it. I can't praise and thank him enough.
As a health and fitness professional, I highly recommend Dr. Nishimoto and have been doing so by word of mouth.
I also wanted to give a shout out to Karen for being very communicative and hospitable.
My only regret is not going to Dr. Nishimoto earlier.
P.S. He accepts most health insurance!

Dr Nishimoto is great as well as his wife Karen who works the front. Ive been coming here for two years now and I always leave feeling more relaxed and loosened up. He spends the time to adjust the necessary needs for each patient. For myself, I tend to have overworked hands, wrists and knees from running and my job. Dr Nishimoto does an ultrasound procedure on me, which I appreciate. They don't validate so you have to either street park or pay at their lot. Oh and don't be late. They're always on time and you never have to wait to be seen.

I have seen nearly a dozen chiropractors over the years, and Dr. Nishimoto and Karen are the best by far!
I started seeing them while I was a UCLA student and will continue, even though I have since moved out of the neighborhood. I hadn't had a visit in over a year, but I called late last Wednesday afternoon and Karen was able to fit me in that Friday evening. As anyone who suffers back pain knows, getting in quickly means a *lot* to us.
Karen and Dr. Nishimoto are very professional but friendly as well, and make every visit a pleasant experience. Importantly, the price is *very* reasonable (even on a student budget), and I have never hesitated making an appointment with them on account of the price!
I am very appreciative of their work and I don't think you can ask for a better chiropractor's office.

Dr. Nishimoto provided comprehensive care -- he was attentive to my unique issues, explained his interventions, provided thoughtful recommendations, and listened to my exciting biweekly updates. I had 14 visits with Dr. Nishimoto over a span of 2.5 months for knee pain and back tension. He provided ultrasound treatment, massage, and realigned and cracked me back into a semi-normal human being. When I came to my first appointment, I had no idea what a chiropractor did and was afraid to get bamboozled. (That said, I was also in a lot of pain and willing to try anything.) The first session was about 45 minutes long and he did a full assessment and came up with a treatment plan. About 6 weeks into my treatment, Dr. Nishimoto said I could taper down from twice a week to once a week sessions. I usually hear horror stories about chiropractors cheating patients, but my treatment was really working! Scheduling was super flexible/easy and Karen was super friendly and organized.

I've never been to a Chiropractor before see Dr. Nishimoto. What was I waiting for? I've had a bad back for almost a year and it got to the point that it was keeping me off my bike and making playing with my little kids painful. With one treatment, I felt a difference. Dr. Nishimoto identified my problem areas immediately, He genuinly cared about my wellbeing, so much so that he made time for me on his off day! The office is professional and clean. The staff is super friendly and welcoming.
It was a great experience and I strongly reccommend him to anyone with a lingering pain that needs attention.

The first time I saw Dr. Nishimoto, I was terrified. My neck was killing me, but I'd never seen a chiropractor before and was worried about being in the hands of a medical quack. Brian's professionalism, down-to-earth sense of humor and gentle manner immediately put me at ease. Now he's my go-to doc any time I throw out my lower back or can't fully turn my neck. It's done wonders for my migraines and jaw pain.

I've been going to Brian for years and appreciate the way he gently guides my neck vertebrae back into place without any painful cracks. You can trust him. And his wife, Karen, who runs the office, is extremely nice, too.

Dr. Nishimoto is great.

Totally polite and professional - and he really cares about your health. I never had to wait more than a few minutes and the staff is really polite - which is always welcoming - and yet hard to find.

Dr. N also put ultrasound on my elbow after an ulnar nerve injury, and that really helped too. I have been the 3 DC's and Brian is the best, by far. I had fallen down on my left elbow and my lefy hand went partially numb - and it would not go away. Being a guitarist, I had to do something to fix it. Coming here totally helped - and he said to ice it 2x a day, which I did. Was fine in 6 weeks.

He also gave me a regimen to keep my back in shape when I exercise. Thumbs up!
