Dr. Rekar was born and raised in Queens New York. He graduated from the University of Virginia Medical School Charlottesville in 1980 and did his Residency at Allegheny General in Pittsburgh PA before moving to Los Angeles in 1983 where he's remained ever since. His special areas of practice include Family Medicine, Preventive Medicine, Integrative Medicine and Sports Medicine.

Dr. David Mark Rekar is a graduate of the University of Virginia Medical School in Charlottesville Virginia. He is a provider for most of the major insurances including Blue Cross, Blue Shield, Cigna, United Health Care, Health Net, Aetna, Motion Picture, SAG, and AFTRA. We are providers for most PPO's. We are in network for certain specific HMO plans provided by United Healthcare, Healthnet, and Aetna.
