At Rancho Bernardo Chiropractic, we take great pride in providing the finest chiropractic wellness care to our patients. Below is a sampling of the different chiropractic services we offer in our office. We provide advanced spinal correction utilizing "state of the art" chiropractic techniques. Never in the history of chiropractic have we been able to provide the level of help and expertise that now exists. These newer correction methods are even safer, more comfortable and more effective than ever before.
In simplest terms, a subluxation a.k.a. Vertebral Subluxation) is when one or more of the bones of your spine (vertebrae) move out of position and create pressure on, or irritate spinal nerves. Spinal nerves are the nerves that come out from between each of the bones in your spine. This pressure or irritation on the nerves then causes those nerves to malfunction and interfere with the signals traveling over those nerves. How does this affect you? Your nervous system controls and coordinates all the functions of your body.
This is a representation of one type of subluxation. A subluxation, as defined by the Association of Chiropractic Colleges is: "A subluxation is a complex of functional and/or structural and/or pathological articular changes that compromise neural integrity and may influence organ system function and general health."

I've been a chiropractic patient for more than 25-years and have seen a number chiropractors from coast-to-coast. Most of the Docs were OK; however, there is a handful of standouts. One is my daughter. Unfortunately, her practice is in Minneapolis and I'm in San Diego. Today, I visited Dr. Rick Trevisin at Rancho Bernardo Chiropractic. I like Dr. Rick and his staff a lot!
They are all very attentive and good listeners. Dr. Rick took all the time necessary to accurately assess my condition, then went to work putting things back into place for me. Dr. Rick has a great sense of humor and decades of professional education and experience. The treatment he rendered was comprehensive, effective, and painless. Since my daughter's out of the picture, Dr. Trevisin is my guy!

I was first referred to Dr Trevison by a close friend. I instantly felt safe and secure with this wonderful Doctor. He is very easy to relax with and has a wonderful calm manner, and great sense of humor. He used both the tens unit and heat on my neck, and followed with adjustments and activator. I love the activator! He knew I was nervous about the adjustment, but senses when you are fully relaxed before doing it. I felt such relief. He is my go to guy when my neck behaves badly. I also enjoy his staff and office. So friendly, professional and clean. A pleasure.

My daughter and I absolutely love Dr. Trevisin and his staff. My daughter is an athlete who was in a car accident several years ago right before a national tournament. She was really in a lot of pain, but thanks to Dr. Trevisin, she was able to not only play in the tournament, she played GREAT! We both see him for tune ups and are really grateful for his expertise. He always makes us feel really special and that our well-being really matters to him.
