At Surfside Chiropractic our goal is to get you out of pain and back to normal as quickly as possible. Chiropractor, Dr. Nick Baiata, has been in practice since 2005 and has experience treating patients of all ages. We treat back pain, neck pain, sciatica, sports injuries, and auto injuries. We are located on Atlantic Blvd in Jacksonville's Atlantic Beach.
At Surfside Chiropractic, we believe in treating the whole body rather than treating an injury or medical issue in isolation. That's why we offer an extensive range of services to help improve movement and function. Before treatment begins the doctor performs a thorough spinal evaluation in order to pin point the areas of the spine that require care.
Chiropractic adjustments during pregnancy can be a savior. The Webster Technique is a safe and popular chiropractic technique for expectant mothers. The Webster Technique works by aligning the pelvis. When the pelvis is aligned this gives the baby the best opportunity to assume the proper position within the birth canal leading to a favorable birth outcome.

My husband, Steve, and I have been going to Dr. Baiata for the last year. We have been going to chiropractors for neck and back issues for many years. Dr. Baiata is the first chiropractor who has been able to resolve my aches and pains. He is very gentle, professional, and has an amazing skill of locating the exact spot that hurts. Dr. Baiata listens, is compassionate, patient, caring, and extraordinarily talented as a chiropractor! I went in feeling like I had been stabbed in the back; a twisted, pinched nerve(s) were trapped. I could barely breathe. And he went above and beyond the call of duty to relieve my pain and it worked! He's wonderful, as is everyone at his office, always! I Highly recommend him!

Dr. Baiata was amazing in reducing pain and discomfort during pregnancy and post pregnancy, he was honest about what he could accomplish through chiropractic care and what my expectations should be (regarding speeding up my body to go into labor). I felt so at ease in his care. I also appreciated that he didn’t try to sell me on a treatment plan with a hefty price tag. I preferred being able to allow my body to tell me when things didn’t feel right. Highly recommend Dr. B!

I've been under chiropractic care for over 15 years but I've never experienced the compassion and dedication that I currently receive from Dr. Nick Baiata. No matter the circumstances, his office gets me in without hesitation. Even on the weekends. His intuitive care makes me able to live my life pain free. Dr. Baiata has been such a great help to my health and wellness, and has been a huge help to my back pain and over all posture. Several years ago I was in an accident, T-boned on the passenger side, and since then have had numbness in between my shoulder blades. After jumping from chiropractor to chiropractor, I finally found Surfside Chiropractic. Dr. Baiata evaluated my posture/stature and gave me an adjustment plan to help alleviate my pain and numbness.
After just a few visits the numbness started to subside and now I no longer have it. My posture is noticeably straighter and have gained flexibility from the back adjustments. Dr. Baiata has also helped my family members including my sister who suffers from chronic migraines. He provided her not only with adjustments but also helpful stretches and techniques of how to avoid getting another migraine. All of his services have helped along with his suggestions. The office is a relaxed setting and family friendly. I highly suggest his services to anyone with back pain.

I came to Dr. Baiata barely able to walk I was in so much pain. I have a herniated L4 and L5 from a college athletic injury and have since tweaked my back every now and then causing me stiffness and pain. However, this particular instance, whatever I did left me in agony and unable to go to work, unable to sleep and barely able to put one foot in front of the other.
I called Surfside as it was about 5 blocks from my house and knew I would be able to manage the short drive. When I walked in, Dr. Baiata saw the pain I was in and immediately took me back. I was practically in tears and he looked at me with confidence, made me very comfortable and told me he would get me better in no time. I could only go through a couple adjustments at first because the slightest movement caused shooting pains in my back, hips and legs, but even after one session I was given some relief.
After a few short visits, it was incredible how much better I was and pain free. I was even able to play in an alumni lacrosse game about a week later. Every time I go in I am greeted by the receptionist (I feel awful I can't remember her name) who is so sweet and helpful. It is an awesome staff and great atmosphere. I'm so lucky to have found such a great chiropractor that is right down the street from my house. I would give him more stars but Google only allows 5! Thanks for everything Dr. B!

Dr. Baiata is amazing. I don't have any specific pain, I just get adjusted for my overall health, and I've noticed a great improvement in my range of motion, immunity, and even my mood since I started getting adjusted by him. I highly recommend Surfside Chiropractic to anyone looking for chiropractic care.

Dr. Baiata is an incredible Chiropractor. I've had neck and shoulder issues for years and worked with several Chiropractors before being recommended to Dr. Baiata. He is an incredible listener and very intuitive, able to quickly pinpoint misalignment. On various occasions, in only one session he was able alleviate pain and return mobility to my neck!
In subsequent sessions he ensures overall alignment and long lasting results. There were two cases where Dr. Baiata took time out of his personal schedule to perform emergency adjustments that saved me elongated strain. He truly cares for his patients. I can't thank him enough for his reliable healing. He comes highly recommended.

He’s helped me thru my cancer journey too, I’m cancer-free now btw! Dr. Nick is an incredible chiropractor and holistic doctor for the whole family. He has saved me multiple times - both through regular prenatal care and later when I fumbled and tweaked my back schlepping around 2 kids. He truly understand the mechanics of the body and makes smart recommendations for continued exercise, posture and daily care. Also - he has worked on my 3 yo and infant.
After one treatment on my toddler he stopped getting ear infections and his legs stopped hurting from growing pains. On my infant - he did a slight adjustment at 6 months that helped her to sleep through the night. All the praises for Dr. Nick!!
