If you have been involved in a car accident, whiplash injuries (aka hyperflexion-hyperextension disorder) need to be taken very seriously. Because symptoms of a whiplash injury can take weeks or months to manifest, it is easy to be fooled into thinking that you are not as injured as you really are.
Too often people don't seek treatment following a car accident because they don't feel hurt. By far, the most common injury to the neck is a whiplash injury. Whiplash is caused by a sudden movement of the head, either backward, forward, or sideways, that results in the damage to the supporting muscles, ligaments and other connective tissues in the neck and upper back.
Unfortunately, by the time more serious complications develop, some of the damage from the injury may have become permanent. Numerous studies have shown that years after whiplash victims settle their insurance claims, roughly half of them state that they still suffer with symptoms from their injuries. If you have been in a motor vehicle or any other kind of accident, don't assume that you escaped injury if you are not currently in pain.

Acupuncture is a component of Traditional Chinese Medicine that revolves around the idea that many diseases are caused by an inbalance in ones Qi (chi) , essentially energy pathways that transverse the body. By using very thin needles, and sometimes heat, acupuncture attempts to open up and restore those pathways, otherwise known as meridians, and restore balance to the body.

I was on vacation in Orlando last October and I had a strong sciatic nerve pain that radiated to my right leg. I could hardly walk or be standing for more than 2 minutes. I had 3 sessions with Dr. Young and I felt great just after the first session. I have been pain-free since then. Now I am back in Orlando and the first thing I want to do is have a session with Dr. Young although I have no pain but being seated all day because of my profession sometimes makes my waist ache.

Had back pain while vacationing at Disney. I called in the morning and was treated within a few hours. I was obviously going to be a one time client but was given full treatment and attention, along with some great advice on potential diagnosis and further treatment. I wish i could continue my treatment here.

So grateful to have found them during my vacation. I called early one morning and they got me right in. The doctor spent so much time with me and was able to relieve my pain for the first time in a very long time. Wish I lived closer so I could see them regularly. The office is clean, staff is friendly and caring. I highly recommend this practice

I was looking for a new chiropractor in Orlando and this office was fantastic. David Young has really helped with my back problems in only two visits. He clearly knows what he is doing and takes the time to make sure his patients are feeling better than when they walked into his office. He also has been extremely accommodating with my appointment times and working around my schedule. Highly recommend this office.

This was my first chiropractic visit. Rides at the theme parks in Orlando caused the pain in my hip area to become severe. After the exam Dr Young explained the pain was due to irritation of the pelvic joint. The hip joint was NOT the cause. The result - significant pain reduction. Dr Young is a 5 in my book. Also the practice takes regular Medicare and was able to see me within hours. Thanks!

Love this place! I'm local and was struggling with back pain after the birth of my daughter. I was struggling to even hold her for more than 10 mins. I was going to a different chiropractor for months and nothing they did seemed to alleviate any of the pain. I started to feel like if they couldn't fix it, since they were "professionals, " then I must just have to live with it.
Then I found Dr. Young! After the first month the pain was finally subsiding! I've now been in his care for several months and am pain free, and I also can hold my daughter again! I cannot recommend this place enough! If I could give it more stars I would

While vacationing in Orlando this week I was in major need of an adjustment which couldn't wait until I got back home to my permanent chiropractor, so I looked on-line for a chiropractor close to the resort I was staying. I was pleasantly surprised to find Dr. Young on such short notice and immediately made an appointment to see him that morning. I found him to be very thorough and I was surprised at the amount of time he spent on adjusting me.
It was much more than I am typically used to. He gave me a great adjustment and even was able to take my insurance (great considering I live out of town). I would highly recommend Dr. Young to anyone.

Saved my family vacation! Woke up on a Saturday morning with my neck completely seized up. Left a message that morning as Dr. Young was conveniently located 5 minutes from my hotel near Disney Springs. Dr. Young called me back and said I could see him in about an hour. Even though he was extremely busy I hardly had to wait for treatment. He also reassured me that I could still go on most rides at Disney. Seeing as this was our last day there, I was very pleased to hear this!
I was there for about 45 min and had significant improvement in mobility as soon as I left. I thought I would have to see my home chiropractor when I returned home Sunday, but I felt so much better I didn't need a follow up visit. Thank you SO much Dr. Young!

I absolutely love Dr.young. I have chronic back , neck , and hip pain without him. I would be screaming everyday in pain but because of Dr.young I am not and I am able to move and walk. I could tell from my very first visit that Dr. Young is different from other chiropractors. He is very thorough in his exam. You can just tell he knows what he's doing. His office isn't fancy but his care is definitely 5 star. I spent decades on pain medicine and muscle relaxers. After just a few visits, I no longer needed prescription pills. As long as I see Dr. Young, I live pain free. Thank you Dr. Young!
