In over three decades in practice, Dr. Erickson has treated more than 20,000 patients in and around Winston-Salem. Patients drive in from a hundred-mile radius, from Charlotte, Raleigh, Boone and Virginia - to take advantage of his experience. Dr. Erickson is renowned for his ability to help patients with chronic issues, and who have not been successful in finding help elsewhere. To help in his decision, Dr. Erickson asked his chiropractor if he could watch him work with other patients. Seeing the difference that chiropractic care made to people of different ages, and with varying problems, was all he needed. Dr. Erickson attended Palmer College of Chiropractic. He was so inspired by all that he was learning about chiropractic, and by working with patients, that he convinced his two brothers and at least a dozen of his patients to become chiropractors as well.Dr. Erickson promotes a proactive attitude.

If a chiropractor asks you to remove all your clothes something is wrong. That was my first red flag. I was in pain however and so I told them I was not comfortable with that and they still wanted me to remove all my top clothing and wear one of their exam tops but let me keep my pants on. They said this is necessary but I have had chiropractic cate for almost 30 years and this has not happened before.
Also as a nurse I know it is not necessary to remove all my personal clothing for X-rays either. After much billable testing and out of pocket expenses beyond insurance they did not treat me or help my pain from misalignment at all. They told me to come back next day. I was disappointed but did and again I received no hands on chiropractic cate or manipulation, only a pulse machine and they again wanted to put me on their billable roller tables that don't help me personally with my long standing issue.
Instead I was told that I need to come back again tomorrow and that it will take a long time to help pain despite my decades of experience with a single manual manipulation relieving pain and subluxation. I was also told I need the chiropractor's permission to receive a copy of my X-ray although a patient always has a right to receive a copy. It is clear their intent is long term billing of extraneous services and supplements.
This might be what you are looking for but absolutely not the type of care I want. I wish they had been up front when I called in acute pain and let me know their way of providing care would take weeks and not minutes for relief.

I have had such a positive experience at Erickson Clinic of Chiropractic. The entire staff was so thorough from the start, showing me that they really care about my health. I love going weekly and walking out feeling better each time. Total Healing! After years of back issues, then a recent injury, I could barely get out of bed. Now, I am ready to begin training again - in just a few weeks time! Sleeping and feeling better than ever. Amazing staff and very clean facility! Dr Erickson and the staff really care, and they address your total health. Look no further, this is a place that WILL get you better. Totally different than the chiropractic care I was used to. So thankful I found this place and Dr Erickson!

Great service and friendly staff. Well educated clinic across the board. First time ever going to see a chiropractor and the treatment I received along with the education on how to improve my health has been phenomenal. Would definitely recommend them if you are looking to find a chiropractor in the area!

I used to have constant, unbearable headaches for several years of my life. After i was told by medical doctors i would start having to be medicated heavily to combat the pain, i began looking for an alternative. My grandmother recommended a chiropractor graduating from Palmer, and Erickson Clinic fit the bill. After a few short weeks of therapy, the headaches completely vanished, and with the occassional adjustment, have not had any problems since. Also, I cannot speak highly enough of the staff. Professional, highly respectable, very knowledgeable, and willing to work with you.

Dr. Erickson and staff are EXCELLENT! I have received superior care and education. I had seen another chiropractor but was not satisfied. I have bulging discs and sciatica. Dr Erickson and staff are gentle, thorough and professional. I have received individualized care using my x-rays each time. Not only have I received printed educational handouts but I have received e-mails as well. My condition is improving and I would recommend this team to anyone!
