Doctors of Chiropractic medicine (D.C.s) are family doctors. They adjust the spine with easy, manual thrusts to move the spinal vertebrae back to their normal positions. Dr. Shana Wasserman-Amouyal grew up in a Chiropractic family. Her Father, Grandfather and Great grandfather were all Chiropractors. She was raised in Southern California where she received her Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and her Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) from Cleveland Chiropractic College of Los Angeles.

I threw out a rib while in Maui and Dr. Wasserman was able to get me in. I felt so much better after my visit with her and would highly recommend her as a licensed massage therapist. It's nice to have a chiropractor who is able to do more than just the usual crack the spine, and you're done. She paid attention to the soft tissue that needed some work done to help relieve the pain. Thank you Dr. Wasserman for helping my trip there be amazing!

I finally found a chiropractor that works for me. I've gone to several but Shana Wasserman-Amouyal has been able to make a difference in how I feel. She is able to see me or fit me in when I really need to see her. She is conveniently located at the Dolphin Mall on S. Kihei Road. Dr. Shana knows various adjustment techniques that are gentle but effective. I've had another chiropractor ignore my instructions not to crack my neck because I have an atlas problem and was told by an upper cervical specialist that I should NEVER have my neck cracked.
And so this other chiropractor went ahead and cracked my neck at the very end of my session regardless. So when he did that, I needed to fly to California to have a specialist reposition my neck properly with an Atlas Orthogonal device. Dr. Shana is able to make the right adjustments to help me maintain better health and proper alignment. I highly recommend her!

I have been seeing Dr. Shana for about 5 years, and it started with me going in because my hip suddenly started feeling really uncomfortable and out of whack during my runs. She got my hip back into place no problem, but also helped with long term solutions to both my hip problems and any other things that came up over the years. Dr. Shana does a great job of assessing your physical and mental health as a whole, and is always open to hearing how you're feeling and making suggestions as to what may help.
Over the years we've gone over everything from supplements and sleeping habits and pillows to stretches and exercises to do. She really cares about your health as a whole and I've really appreciated that about her.

I saw Dr. Wasserman through my pregnancy and pop in for the occasional adjustment when my back flares up. She actually takes the time to pinpoint where your pain is coming from so she can adjust you properly. I came running back to her after I went to someone else highly rated that was closer to my home. Dr. Wasserman checks in with you right after adjusting to make sure you feel better, whereas most chiros I have seen just let you walk out of their office without even asking. The best part is scheduling is a breeze - she can usually get you in within a few days!

Dr. Shana is the best! I went in with a very painfully spasming low back and she was able to heal me that day! Usually it takes two or more weeks to feel better. She does a good job with ongoing care and my husband and young daughter enjoy going to her as well. I love that she massages the back first so I can hold the adjustments longer. I feel like she works with the body rather than forcing the adjustments.

Dr Shana has fixed me again! This time I was experiencing pain in my upper back, neck, and right shoulder. After just a single session I feel less pain. She informed me what was likely causing the pain, adjusted me, and gave me stretches to do at home. I'll need to visit her again but I can now work without wanting to cry. I'm a hairdresser and the end of the year is my busy season so I'm grateful Dr Shana can help me get through this busy Work season! Thanks again Dr Shana!

Dr. Shana is such a lifesaver! I had a serious shoulder problem and she always magically fixes me up. She's also so much more thorough than other chiros I've been to, literally tell her what's hurting on your body and she knows the source and will fix you up - from sore feet from heels to a tight neck. Couldn't recommend her more.

I have been on and off again with my chiropractic treatment but recently started again with Dr. Wasserman. Her office is close to downtown where I work, but she's on the east side of 405 in a building with ample free parking. I find her to be very knowledgeable, personable and flexible with scheduling and contacting (she will text you which is great for my schedule). She takes most insurance and has reasonable private pay rates. I recommend her to others looking for chiropractic on the eastside.

Dr. Wasserman is simply fantastic, from the first session she made it easy for me to sleep like a baby, the headaches were all gone! Dr. Wasserman's approach is very professional, she takes her time listening to your story and asking you a bunch of question to asses your case. She also recommends the required exercises and has a magical touch. I have had sever pain in my neck and back for a long time and Dr. Shana was able to fix me in no time. I was in Maui for vacation before doing the Hawaii half-Ironman triathlon. My lower back started acting up and thought I wasn't going to be able to participate in the race that I had trained so hard for. I saw Dr. Wasserman twice and she adjusted my back so that I was able complete the 70.3 miles of the triathlon without any pain or discomfort! She was very knowledgeable and skilled and her prices were reasonable. I would highly recommend her!

My girlfriend and I were visiting and she got a stiff neck. This chiropractor was very helpful and friendly and spent a good half an hour on her neck and spine. The next day we were enjoying maui like everyone else thanks to this chiropractor. Visits are between 50$ to $75. Office is clean but not fancy.
