What a great Chiropractor Dr. O'Neal is, listens to what your issues are, assesses your body and corrects the imbalances. I have been coming here for more than 10 years and have never been disappointed. If you have a specific injury or just need and occasional maintenance adjustment, give Dr O'Neal a try you will be satisfied with his care.

I've been coming to Dr O'neill for 8 years. I messed up my back from working for a moving company when I was 20, and could barley bend down. In one session, Dr. O'neill completely restored my mobility. I have been to Chiropractors that X-ray you, which seems high tech and fancy. But after that they adjust you for 5 minutes a session and your on your way.

The changes never seemed to stick. With Dr. O'neill on the other hand, he is patient and takes his time to give you the care you need. Plus his roll table and massage chair seem promote healing much more quickly than just an adjustment. Don't judge his office by Utilitarian look of the place. Judge it by how you feel after.

I have been a patient of Dr. O'Neal's since 2014 up to present. I am a paralegal that uses the computer for 5-6 hours per day with extreme stiffness in my neck, back and shoulders. I also suffer from debilitating migraines. Dr. O'Neal is hands down the best chiropractor I have had. Dr. O'Neal is not your "standard" chiropractor treating patients as a mere "file number" and getting them in and out of his office as quickly as possible, as most others sadly do. Dr. O'Neal is interested in determining the cause of the pain, treating the pain and leaving it up to the patient as to how many treatment they wish to receive. Dr. O'Neal takes the time to thoroughly adjust your body and uses several different tools to treat and sooth the muscle knots that often affect the neck, shoulder and back areas. Dr. O'Neal's office also has a massage bed that makes all the difference in relaxing the muscles and loosing up all the tight areas of the body. Dr. O'Neal and his entire office staff are always professional, kind and caring.

Most recently, I have been experiencing severe frozen shoulder symptoms in my right shoulder post rotator cuff surgery followed by a fender bender, which has severely impacted my left side. Dr. O'Neal has been working diligently to make me whole again and working with me and my insurance to ensure I get the best treatment. Dr. O'Neal has again proven to me that he is more interested in healing me than getting paid by me.

I wish I could say the same about some of the other chiropractic offices I was referred to upon the car accident I was recently involved in. If you read my other review you will see for yourself. Dr. O'Neal's office also accepts medical insurance which is another huge bonus! If you are looking for an experienced doctor of chiropractic medicine that is also kind, compassionate and truly cares for your body look no further than O'Neal Chiropractic. Your body will thank you!

Update it's been six years since my last review and I continue to receive excellent treatments from Dr. O'Neal. I don't ever want to go to another Dr! The only difference between my last review is their location which is actually a plus for me as they used to be on the west side of town and are now on the east side which is closer to my home. I'm so glad I'm a patient of this office. If you're looking for a chiropractor, RUN DONT WALK!to his office I definitely recommend this business

Great provider and brings a great environment. At first I wasn't sure but after treatment I would definitely refer all I know.

I've been going to Dr. O'Neal for two decades, off and on, whenever I need pain relief, usually in my lower back area. This time, instead of asking me where I felt pain, he said, "Let me guess", showing his sense of humor and familiarity with my case. He is a very kind, gentle and caring man, able to communicate with you and identify troublesome spots.

He is very accurate in his assessment and able to work on exact areas of discomfort. I can't say you will feel better after one visit, that might be unrealistic. I can say you can feel confident that with time and treatment he will straighten out your misalignments with gentle adjustments. I always feel better at the end of treatment.

Dr. O'Neal has been treating me for a number of years. I believe he has kept me from hip surgery. I was rear ended at a red light and couldn't turn my head. It is now OK. So. If you need a good Chiropractic Doctor he is the one to go to.

Dr. O'neal takes his time with his patients, listens to their individual needs, is very thorough, and his rates are very reasonable.

I have been getting adjusted at O'Neal Chiropractic for about 7 years now. I first started going after a car accident I was in. Dr. O'Neal has helped me immensely over the years with various back, neck, and jaw issues caused by whiplash injury's, TMJ, and general muscle tension. I would highly recommend Dr. O'Neal if you are looking for a kind well versed chiropractor.

I was having pain in my lower when I first seen Dr. O'Neal just getting up and down on the chair in the waiting area my back was killing me after his adjustments while I was sitting there I got and down on the chair and the pain was absolutely gone I couldn't believe it. Everybody working in his office is very professional and don't have to wait a long time before seeing Dr. O'Neal. Top Notch!

I always leave feeling better and I appreciate the doctor/patient relationship we've developed that is based on trust and communication. I don't live in Santa Rosa any more and have been unable to find a great chiropractor in Petaluma, so I try to get in to see Dr. O'Neal whenever I work or visit in Santa Rosa. He's the best!

This will be my very first negative review and I waited awhile to do this because I did not want fresh emotions to spill all over my keyboard. What I do want is to write my perspective and in retrospect, this is something I wish someone else had written before I came here. First, this place is very outdated and I don't mean windows XP, I mean typewriter, paper EHR, velvet covered unsanitary adjusting tables and what appears to be unwashed pillows. Granted, they do cover it with thin tissue paper but that covers a fraction of your head or body. So, if you are looking for a germaphobe, even in the slightest, I would avoid this establishment.

One out of every 3 visits you might lay in a heating table in a room with 2 or 3 other patients doing the same thing or on a massage chair. I ignored these things at first but eventually the service just continued to decline. Your first two appointments with chiropractors will always be the longest, they take their time, get to know your body, adjustments, and try to reel you in, essentially.

The awkward nature of providers and practitioners are aspects of health care which I am used to so I didn't mind his social awkwardness. What I did mind was the lack of professionalism regarding my dwindling adjustments and grumbling loudly as I lay on the table how my insurance is not paying him enough and showing me to the door saying "well, that's it. That's all you're covered for". I will never step foot in this establishment again.

Wonderful chiropractor. Used him for years, started with my husband and his bad back & then after 3 kids I started to need his help. Usually feeling much better after first visit. Luv his massage bed, so soothing and perfect.

I have had pain for years, so much so that it just seems normal to me. There were some days, the pain was really profound, but generally it was just a general pain and weakness from an old auto accident, poor posture and sleep position, and roller derby injuries. I found out I had chiro coverage through my health benefits and I decided to treat myself to some adjustments to see if I can get the pain down.

Within a couple visit, I felt like a completely different person in my body. He is very gentle, but effective. He calms me and reassures me and I feel no anxiety when I'm there. I went to another chiro years ago and she put me so on edge that I was afraid I would be paralyzed when she manipulated my neck. I don't feel any of that stress with Dr. O'Neal. I have an appointment today and I can't wait!

Doctor puts you on a vibrating table to melt away the stress of the day or in a vibration chair. He is very thorough in his assessing and adjusting your back. I have been very happy going to Doctor O'Neal. He and his staff that has worked for him over 14 years offer superb help to you and your family.

I would highly recommend O'Neal Chiropractic to anyone, if you live in the Santa Rosa area give him a visit. Do I sound like a commercial, well that is because he is also my good friend that loves what he does.

I started visiting Dr. James O'Neal when I needed a Chiropractor and the closest to my home was his office. I made an Appointment to meet him and after a few minutes of conversation, off I went to get treated by him as I was immediately met with the type of personality I prefer and felt at ease and full of trust in him quite quickly. I have been a client for 2 years now and very happy that when I have a problem, he can usually feel it before I voice it to him and I've always appreciated how he makes sure to re-adjust anything that doesn't feel "right".

Amazing patience and flexibility has me complimenting and coming back again and again as I've never felt better since coming to him! He just brought in two brand new Massage Chairs and I love how they leave you feeling just like you were massaged by hands and it's a machine! I highly recommend this Office to anyone in need!

So, I threw out my back lifting my TV a few days ago. I thought that I would be able to wait out the pain but couldn't make it two days. I googled "great chiropractors in Santa Rosa." Dr. O'Neal's office came up. The office staff was nice and helpful and got me an appointment 40 minutes after I called! Dr. O'Neal saw me almost immediately after I arrived. He did a wonderful job adjusting my back! I definitely felt results soon after and will be returning tomorrow!
