Dr. Meylor was born and raised in Sioux City, Iowa. After completing his undergraduate studies, he received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa; (the 1st chiropractic college in the world!) Dr. Meylor continues to broaden his knowledge of the practice of chiropractic by taking part in numerous postgraduate programs including: Acupuncture, Sports Injury Seminars, and many more.
We decided to have her see him after she had suffered through multiple ear infections and RSV during her first six months of her life. We were trying to avoid having tubes inserted later or the possibility of hearing loss. We have now gone an additional four months and I am glad to say- no ear infections.

Dr. Meylor and his staff are friendly and helpful, and I got the impression the doctor is experienced and knowledgeable in chiropractic care. However, when my son had his foot x-rayed there after spraining his ankle, their radiology consult suggested a likely compression fracture in the fourth toe, or bone leading to the fourth toe, but our PCP confirmed using the same images that it was just a sprain - in the ankle. Might be time for a new radiology consult. Otherwise our experience was positive, and I would not hesitate to go back for a spinal adjustment.

Highly recommend! Dr. Meylor and his team are extremely welcoming and knowledgeable. I was very nervous to get adjusted for the first time. Dr. Meylor took the extra time to answer all of my questions and explain everything. The treatments are brief, painless and effective. For the first time in years I slept better than ever and the tension that I felt throughout the day was relieved.
My TMJ and chronic headaches were also greatly improved. I continued to get treatment during my first pregnancy. Being properly aligned helped me have a wonderful birth experience! My labor and delivery was quick and more comfortable. Getting treatments at this office will continue to be part of my self-care routine! I only wish I would've come in sooner.

Sometimes words can't express enough how thankful I am of Dr. Meylor & his staff Cindy & Courtney for getting me back on the road to recovery after my horrific auto accident. My personal injury attorneys Adams Cross LLC highly recommended I visit Meylor Chiropractic to start my evaluation and seek treatment options. This is my first major auto accident I've ever been involved in and had no idea what to do or where to start with receiving treatments for my lower back and neck injuries. From the second I walk into Meylor Chiropractic and Acupuncture I feel like everyone there genuinely cares about my health.and me!
