In contrast, at Imatrix Management Center our aim is to remove any stressor causing unnessesary tension and make you feel comfortable. In this area of the website you will be able to take care of items necessary for your visit prior to arriving, in the comfort of your home.
Chiropractic care is like building a house - certain things have to happen in a particular order in order for everything to stand strong and work correctly. When building a house, if you tried to put up your walls before you had a solid foundation, your walls would be weak and eventually collapse. If you tried to put on your roof before the walls were ready, you would run into the same problem. The same is true for your body. Your body has to go through a particular plan of care in order to repair itself correctly and fully.
After discussing with you your history and your goals, examining your spine and reviewing any x-rays or tests, our doctors will discuss recommendations with you. If you have a condition that requires care with other providers, the doctor will tell you. Patients will generally be provided with their first treatment at the conclusion of the appointment.

My experience at Chiro-Works has been fabulous. I highly recommend both Dr. Tanner for chiropractic care, as well as Darryl for massage therapy. These guys are the nicest of humans and also very knowledgeable and caring. Their approach to holistic care is truly top notch in terms of friendliness, supportive attitude, and willingness to personalize a care plan that is right for you.

Definitely would NOT recommend. Staff is very friendly however; my back feels much worse then it did before I walked in the door! WAY OVERPRICED! They also charged me $28.00 to put ice on my back after my adjustment. When I walked out the door my bill was $695.00 I have NEVER paid that much seeing a chiropractor. Overall I had a horrible experience not only does my back hurt but my wallet hurts too

The lady in charge of billing at chiro-works in Freeport is the most rude, unprofessional and ignorant person and I'll never go there again. I picked to go there when I injured my back in a car accident in May. I agreed to pay $10 a week while I was in treatment until the insurance company paid them and then I'd get reimbursed also. My treatment ended a couple months ago and I was having to take off time from work to go in and have appointments. I'm not hardly going to go take off time from work to go make a $10 payment to them when the insurance company is about to pay them in full anyways.
So this chick called my work phone with the caller ID blocked, talked down to me was snotty and rude, I told her that I talk to Hupy and Abraham and that everything was going to be getting paid out soon. She made some other rude comment that I didn't know what I was talking about before I finally said I was at work and had to go. 15 minutes later my lawyer calls and says that she got a call from Chiro- works and the lady was beyond rude and was yelling at her and even attacking her personally. My lawyer kept trying to explain she needed to get a medical lean and she will be getting paid out in full soon.

The actual chiropractic manipulations were done well. The office and practice policies are not senior friendly, they take advantage saying xrays are required by Medicare, the out of pocket charges are outrageous. ($180 for the initial exam?) I could go on but fortunately I found another place to go that offers honesty and integrity which is the type of chiropractic service I was used to.
I just moved to Freeport from the Davenport, Iowa area (Palmer College country!) I love Freeport, and am glad I moved here but wish I had been able to take more time to select a chiropractor. However, while moving, unpacking etc. I injured my back and had to find someone fast. I wish an honest review had been online about them.it would have saved me some time, money and stress.
