Van Ness Chiropractic is awesome. The Doctors are awesome. I love getting massages from Dorothy. I would highly recommend Van Ness to anyone looking for a great Chiropractor!

Dr. VanNess is truly amazing in what he does to give you the best level of care! Dr. Parkin is great in assisting when Dr. VanNess is not available! Kind and caring as well! Dr. Rani's care is great and never thought I would actually enjoy acupuncture and how much it can help! She really cares in your overall healing Dorothy.her massages are one of the best who focuses on your specific needs for your care and recovery. Can't say enough about the entire staff! Van Ness chiropractic is my favorite place to get adjustments, acupuncture, massage, etc. I have tried a few different places in the area and Van Ness is by far the best. The reception staff makes it easy to book appointments that are convenient for my schedule and the doctors are professional, personable, and really show they care!

I have been a patient for the past 6 weeks and have gotten excellent, attentive care, from Dr. Sabri, Dr. Parkin and Dr. Van Ness. We are making good progress on addressing my back pain. And the massages with Michelle have been very intensive, therapeutic massages - she is very good and I highly recommend her.

Due to a relocation, It's been years since I have used chiropractic care but I am SO glad to have found this gem! I have been a patient for almost a year and everyone I have encountered here is so incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, caring and prompt; from front desk to DC's. I went to a chiropractor for years. When my job changed I found it harder to go. Then she moved out of state. I tried different Dr's, but just didn't feel they were doing what I needed. Cut to, throw your back out on Columbus day. I went to work but was miserable. I called some nearby Dr's but they were closed. Van Ness was not only open but got me in that afternoon. An x-ray, electric stimulation, and adjustment.and I could walk!

The staff is very personable, I see Dr Parkin and he does a fantastic job. They offer many forms of treatment, including massage and acupuncture. They are very accommodating for people with busy schedules. But don't make you feel rushed or uncomfortable. I would highly recommend.

I'm so Glad I found a place that can help me recover so quickly. I felt so good that I ask my wife to go get checked and adjusted if needed. I had my first chiropractic appointment three weeks back to Van Ness and the experience was really good. It's been three weeks I have been visiting and can definitely see improvement. All the doctors are very patient to hear about my problems and thoroughly explained the course plan and treatment. The staff is helpful and courteous. Holy moly- Van Ness is literally the best chiropractic practice I've been to, and I'm a devout back-crackee! Some chiropractors take more of a "feel and crack" approach, but the staff at Van Ness takes a completely informed approach to ensure that you're getting the care you need. They start out by taking X-rays so they can see what's going on, and sit with you and explain what they're seeing & what they're going to do with your treatment.

I have been going to chiropractors since I was a child and this office is by far the best! I called and left a message over the weekend requesting a new patient appointment for some time this week and I was surprised to get a call back on a Sunday from Dr Jason. I appreciated that he took the time to call me back ASAP and schedule me Monday morning to be seen since I was in so much discomfort from a car accident.

I have never had a Dr reach out on a Sunday and accommodate getting me in so quickly! First I saw Dr Rani and she thoroughly explained everything to me and helped me have a better understanding of what treatment I need and why. After I saw Dr Jason and I've had head aches for a long time due to car accidents and today after one visit most of the pressure from my neck and head are completely gone with no daily head ache! I will forever be a patient here. I highly recommend!

So, where to start? From the moment you walk into the office, you're greeted by Meghan, super awesome and attentive! Love when your doctor knows you by your first name! Previously had let my back issues go until I was referred by a friend after my move from the east coast and I've always been skeptical, but EVERYONE on dr. van Ness team is great!

On my 4 visit and I already have the pinch on my neck is gone! Finally got a full nights sleep! If I was a skeptic, now I believe! And if you're in doubt where to go in the area, I highly recommend Van Ness Chiropractic!

I feel Dr. Van Ness and his staff have helped me tremendously (above and beyond!) throughout the years, with pain management and my scoliosis. It has been the best chiropractic care I have ever received anywhere. They are always there to help, and are warm, attentive, and treat their patients with the utmost care. In regards to a prior comment, I feel their practice is very clean, safe, and compliant with the guidelines recommended during this pandemic.

I have never had an issue regarding that, feel safe in the practice, see everything getting wiped down thoroughly, and masks being worn. Chairs are distanced in the waiting area as well. There is also hand sanitizer at the entrance. I highly recommend this practice to anyone, and am always appreciative of their outstanding care to their clients. Always grateful for all they do!

I'm not going to knock other businesses down, but how I got to Van Ness Chiro was simply out of necessity for an immediate appointment and the lines of communication with the staff at Van Ness Chiro is exceptional which isn't too common these days. Through yelp!, I used the "Request an Appointment" button at FOUR separate nearby chiro offices then waited anxiously AND patiently for the first available one. Van Ness contacted me and gave me a few different options for a first time consult visit.

When I called to make the appointment, there was a live voice answering the phone and from that moment, I was so relieved. The admin staff are very kind and upbeat which makes the office visits bearable and fun. I've had very successful outcomes with each visit and each doctor. My consult visit was mind blowing because Dr Rani (who is absolutely amazing w her great humor and polite mannerisms) made sure to explain everything that she was doing before she did it.

The medical equipment and technology they have is all in-house which provides convenience. They took xrays of the area that was bothering me to see (in real time!) what and where needed to be adjusted or worked on versus just laying me on a table and manipulating everything. which unfortunately happens sometimes at chiro offices. Dr Parkin took the time to go over in full detail what was happening in my xrays and it helped me make sense of the pains I've been feeling. Dr Van Ness makes sure to address your symptoms at each visit and takes the time to properly work on them.

All the doctors are very patient and I highly recommend them! Also, the music playlist is so random and multi-generational that its great for everyone there. Added bonus, their candy selection includes (individually wrapped) Twizzlers!

BEST CHIRO DRS AND CARING STAFF! I recently was in a car accident and they immediately saw me and squeezed me in. Jason & Jeff are full of endless knowledge and truly take care of you the moment you step into their office. Every time I am back in town, I will make sure to always come back!

Jason Van Ness and his staff are a must see if you have back or neck pain. After injuring a disc in my back lifting weights (with horrible form I may add), Jason was able to get me back to full health and pain free after a few months of treatment. 5 stars. Very comfortable environment and all around good people.

Go there every week and referred lots of people. They do an excellent job and I always feel better. Manipulation is solid and always makes me feel better Give them a try!

They all listen to you and answer all your questions. They always teat you like family and go an extra mile to make sure your heath comes first. You can even contact doctor Jason VanNess in person on the weekends if you have any concerns. What other doctors would do that? Like I said, they teat you like family! Misleading establishment. I went to Van Ness based on the positive reviews. My experience was anything but. I was rushed every time I had an appointment. The exercise guy seems over-worked or under-staffed, and I was supposed to see him weekly, but often was never seen by him. He gave me only very basic stretches. The billing department is a joke.

They do not disclose pricing. They wait at least one month to file with insurance. They do not inform you of pricing, deductible, eligibility, and other vital details until after one month of service. They seem to be masters of being able to utilize insurance companies and customers for payment. Service is unpersonable and not clear and transparent. Especially in regards to billing.

WOW. Was I happy to find these Dudes. I am slightly disassembled, following a collision where I was stopped in the left-turn, red-arrow, left-turn lane when I got plowed in the rear by someone doing 45. The first thing I heard and felt simultaneously was the BOOM. Then heard the brakes screech. Pretty bad. Anyway. I've been there only twice, but I plan on going there however long my heart is pumping. (The Brain is in awful shape.

Not reliable for much other than listening to Frank sing, "Fly Me To The Moon." Yeah. It's pretty bad. Yesterday, following my first appointment (Need someone who understands Chronic Pain? These Dudes are damn good at that! I'm still pumping lots of Adrenalin (That's because my life is SO interesting.) and yesterday, I went on to do everything I had to do, which is a lot!

I didn't stop until 10 PM. I was SO tempted to cancel my appointment, but I kind of swung the other way, and decided to go with the flow. I made it. I was 2 million minutes late. The heels of my sneakers are crushed because I cannot function during the Day. Boo! I am a Sorceress. I am an Owl. I am a Vampire! Or I am a something made of other things.

But I DID put on a pair of clean socks, just especially, because. Too tired to go to into the rest. Suffice it to say: Not long after my treatment ended - felt really good - when an hour had passed, I discovered I had now turned to Jelly. I became Jelly Betty for the rest of the day. I was TOTALLY wiped out. My system stepped on the brakes with the help of these Dudes.

The Healers. Homeopathically inclined, there are ways to manipulate the body to heal, using minimally invasive techniques, and the body itself to heal itself. When my treatment had ended today, I protested: "I WANT MORE! More. More. More!" Then I wrapped myself up and left. (NOTE: "Dudes" = I'm bad with names! Omg. How do I get out of this one?)

Dr Van Ness and all of his staff are a great choice for those seeking Chiropractic care - A friend clued me in as to how good and understanding Dr Van Ness would be for my care. I remember my first meeting when immediately I realized that this was a knowledgable practitioner - It's been the same since - I go for regular adjustments and now have added massage therapy - Never felt that I was being sold a bill of goods. Certainly can recommend Van Ness Chiropractic. Say no more!

UPDATE: 10/10/2015: No, I have not patronized this business again since my first review. Yes, I still stand by what I said in my first review. I am updating this review because, now, over one year after I posted my yelp review, I am getting yelp messages from Dr. Van Ness (2 mo ago, 2 mo ago, 1 mo ago, and again 3 weeks ago) wanting to discuss my review.

When I was a patient there, I spoke directly with Dr. Van Ness to resolve my problems with his business. He was not attentive to my concerns when I shared them with him (in person and over the phone). He was in fact very rude to me. I am happy that now, over one year after I reviewed his business with my experience, he is very dedicated to addressing patient concerns, his yelp standing, and improving his practice (not necessarily in that order).

I only wish he were as dedicated to helping customers who are not yelp users. Dr. Van Ness: I stand by my review. I sincerely hope you can fine tune your professional aptitude and customer service skills so that you can help future patients. Please stop messaging me. I have moved on from this experience, and I think you should too.

Dr. Jason and Jeff are kind, compassionate doctors who helped me tremendously when I was experiencing severe back and neck pain after going thru an uncomfortable pregnancy. I sent the office staff an email at 2am in desperation to get in to see the doctor the next day and I had a response 6 hours later that I could come in first thing in morning. Jeff was so patient - especially when my newborn had a meltdown in the office and I nearly did too.

He eliminated my back pain. We have talked about everything from being a new mother and breastfeeding to teething and vaccinations. What a wealth of knowledge he has! He has also gently adjusted my son, which has helped him during colds and times of illness. I've called him when I have my doubts on if I'm doing something right and being a new mother, I can't explain the peace of mind he's brought me. I have them on speed dial, enough said. Thank you Van Ness! Customer for life.

I bought a Groupon for a 60 minute massage here. When I called for an appointment one of the massage therapists was out on maternity leave and the other was booked for a few weeks. The receptionist was very patient and thorough and found a time that would work for me. I took this as a good sign that this massage therapist was really good. I wasn't wrong. Janice took time to figure out which areas where bothersome for me and focused on those areas during the session.

She was thorough in her questions before the massage began on what I was looking for in this massage and if I had any health issues that would affect my massage, etc. The room was nice and quiet with some soft music playing. I couldn't hear other voices in the office (which is a big annoyance of mine) and so I was able to zone out and relax. Now my only problem is I need to go back because my shoulders and upper back feel a lot better but I want Janice to focus on working out my legs next time!
