Health Horizons - Frank Cicirello

I have been a patient at Health Horizons, on and off, for several years to address chronic neck pain, headaches, and lower back pain. I recently had the Atlas Orthogonal adjustment with Dr. Roth, and really cannot believe how much better my neck feels! My upper cervical spine was chronically sore and tender, and the pain is now gone. Thank you, Dr. Roth, for your expertise, precision, and kindness, and for bringing this life-changing adjustment to Pittsburgh!

Health Horizons is the BEST chiropractic healthcare provider in the Pittsburgh area. Their expertise, wholistic approach, kindness and excellence of care is evident in every part of their office and staff. I am very impressed and will recommend them 10 times out of 10!

Health Horizons is an amazing practice. They've managed to create a warm environment without sacrificing any of the knowledge and expertise it takes to gain their patients' trust. I have a medical condition called Chiari malformation that makes certain types of chiropractic extremely unsafe for me. Dr. Roth has made it a point to take a specialized approach to keep me safe.

She marries caution and confidence in a way that puts me completely at ease. The Health Horizons staff treats every person as an individual rather than taking a "one size fits all" generalized approach, giving me the utmost comfort in putting myself in their hands and trusting the treatment they give me. I had a specific issue at one point that, if I hadn't mentioned it to Dr. Roth, I wouldn't have known what was going on in my body at all.

She recommended seeing Dr. Palombini for a nutrition consult, and I'm so thankful for that. Something major I've learned about Dr. Roth and Dr. Palombini is that they won't give up as long as I don't, and that means so much. I've been to many different doctors (holistic and medical approaches), and I've never seen such determination and desire to see people well as I have at Health Horizons.

Last but certainly not least, I need to shine a light on the rest of the staff. Every person I come in contact with from walking in the door to being in the room, checking out, and scheduling another appointment, is absolutely wonderful. Every staff member is warm, kind, and easy to talk to. They don't treat me like just another name on the schedule.

They take an interest in me, in what's going on in my life, and in my health. Each one of them is a gem. Health Horizons is a one-of-a-kind practice, and I whole-heartedly recommend scheduling an appointment TODAY.

Dr. Greer and Dr. Palombini are helping me feel the best I have in over 5 years. It is truly amazing. In a very short time, I think I became a patient in late March, my pain is nearly gone. My diet is changed and after the initial withdrawal from sugar, I feel energy, sleep better, more power cycling and less irritability. I am so grateful to have located this most wonderful practice, filled with caring staff and highly skilled Drs. Thank you Health Horizons.

Wanted to take this opportunity to thank Dr. Roth and her staff for the remarkable job they did to get my neck back in shape. After almost a year of suffering with neck pain, I finally found relief. With Dr. Roth's skills along with state of the art technology, I am no longer waking up in pain. I started out with an orthopedic surgeon, then physical therapy, and after experiencing no relief whatsoever decided to give Health Horizons a try.

Truly one of the best decisions I've made. For those of you reading these reviews, you're probably just like me when I started reading reviews. I was looking for relief, I was looking for someone I could trust, someone who was dedicated and somebody that could help me. I found all those with Health horizons. If you are having Atlas pain or any type of pain this is the place you want to be. Thank you Dr. Roth and staff for everything you do. If there was one negative thing, it would be that I'm going to be seeing less of them because I feel so much better.

I am new to the practice here at Health Horizons. I can't say enough about the professionalism and kindness the staff and Doctors have shown me. I am always greeted by a friendly and welcoming face. My treatment here has been very successful. Dr Roth has greatly improved my shoulder stiffness and pain. I have also been under Dr. Palombini's care with her functional medicine techniques. I respect both of these doctors and their personalized, hands on, informative care. Thank you Health Horizons for creating a lovely healing atmosphere!

While I rarely write reviews, my experience at this business was negative enough to warrant a first. I attended two introductory sessions that were truly terrible and led me to request a refund of my $290. Without going into too much detail, I left the sessions feeling both uncomfortable and like I had been duped into receiving a laughably fake "adjustment" (which confusingly consisted of the doctor lightly tapping me on my back for a combined minute or two).

I called after my second session to voice my concerns and cancel my scheduled appointments. The receptionist, while cheerful, didn't seem surprised or to care. When I asked one of the doctors for a refund, I received a letter stating they would only provide a partial refund in exchange for my signing an attached general release--aka they would only give me some of my money back if I legally agreed not to sue them or say/write anything bad about them (like in a Google review). So, if you're wondering why this place has all 5 star reviews, consider that they are making at least some patients sign documents legally preventing them from leaving negative reviews. Is that the kind of place from which you want to receive (questionable) medical care? I decided it was worth skipping a $190 refund to voice my experience honestly. There are plenty of good chiropractors in Pgh. I would strongly encourage you to go elsewhere.

I am so happy our family found Dr. Roth at Health Horizons. She is a wealth of knowledge and is very good at what she does; I trust her expertise. Health Horizons is in a great location, the staff is wonderful, and it's a very peaceful environment. My family and I have seen Dr. Roth for adjustments and she is the best. In addition to getting adjustments, Health Horizons also offers a variety of high quality supplements and other therapeutic items.

I purchased a pillow there that helps me with my migraines. It took years to find a decent pillow to help me sleep at night. I highly recommend Health Horizons to anyone looking to manage/improve their overall health and wellness.

I have been seen at Health Horizons on and off (school or jobs outside of Pittsburgh) for almost 20 years. I always feel better when I go regularly to appointments. The office staff is attentive, welcoming, and knowledgeable. They are able to help navigate insurance, reimbursements, and scheduling. I am always able to coordinate a visit that works into my schedule.

I have seen Drs. Roth and Greer who are very thorough and experienced. With my monthly maintenance visits, this is the best I have felt consistently in years. They do have a large variety of supplements and products but offer but do not "push" them. If you have any aches/pains during pregnancy, Dr. Roth was the absolute best. I do not think I would have made it through my pregnancy without her! If you are looking for a comprehensive chiropractors office this is definitely the place to go!

I saw Dr. Roth during my pregnancy because I knew this is one her specialities. She was absolutely instrumental in feeling better with less pain and preparing for delivery. She adjusted my baby and myself post birth as well. She explained what I was going through in detail and helped me understand the adjustments. I credit her with being able to be more active and comfortable while pregnant and would highly recommend!

I have been with Health Horizons for over 10 years! They are like family to me! I moved about 8 years ago and I drive over 2 hrs there and back, that's how much I love them! All the doctors, staff, and massage therapists are amazing! You will not regret making your first appointment!

Our entire family sees Dr Roth. Her sincere care for our health, the time she takes to really listen and observe, her professionalism and that of the staff is like no other we've come across. The practitioners with Health Horizons approach the body holistically and for this I am grateful. Upon relocating to the west coast we've tried to find a comparable practice. Needless to say I will always make time to visit Health Horizons when visiting Pittsburgh.

The Doctors at Health Horizons are nothing short of amazing. Not to bore you, but after a bad fall, weeks of traction, bed rest, 3 milligrams and finally back surgery and months of rehab, I assumed my life would always be painful and with limited mobility. Not so! After seeing many specialists at major institutions, and more surgery recommendations, a friend recommended Health Horizons.

I was more than skeptical that chiropractic treatment could alleviate my pain. I now feel great, and if I follow their sound advice am without pain. Amazing! I would be remiss, to not mention that the entire staff is knowledgable, welcoming, friendly, and I often wonder how they can be so upbeat all the time. Probably because they too feel great. My husband and I are most comfortable there and couldn't be without their services. Health Horizons is first class in every way, and it's not easy to impress me.

Highly recommend! I'm not sure I can fit all the good things here. I started going to Health Horizons with my first pregnancy. I've always had lower back pain and this helped so much. I also attribute Dr. Roth for enabling me to have a 10.2oz baby without a cesarean. With my second pregnancy I got server pelvic girdle pain. I was having constant pain and could barely walk, so I started to see Dr. Roth again.

Within 1 week the pain had subsided and within 2 week it was gone. I still had a little trouble walking but after I had the baby and continuing care I was fine. I still see Dr. Roth so I can keep up with my 2 guys. I also like the techniques Dr. Roth uses. It is not the stereo typical cracking and twisting, it feels more like a message. To list a few other good thing about health Horizons--great with making and changing appointment (my life is very busy and I have to change appointments often-they never get upset and always find a way to fit me in), employees always greet you by your name, e-mail reminders, evening hours, so many services, and really care about you and your health.

I cannot tell you how grateful I am for the healing I received here! I am from Miami, Fl and came up to visit family. The day before I left I pulled my back out and the pain was unspeakable! They took me in without an appointment and the compassionate and professional way they treated me was above and beyond expectations! I really love their gentle approach and the complete body healing pathway!

The Dr. addressed all my questions and spoke to me regarding all areas of Total health! I highly recommend Health Horizons from my own personal and positive experience there!
