Austin Lake Chiropractic, located in Portage Michigan, was founded in 2007 and previous to that existed as Advanced Chiropractic Clinic. Since incorporation, Austin Lake Chiropractic has helped alleviate pain for thousands of patients with all kinds of conditions including: neck pain, mid and lower back pain, and even conditions such as numbness and tingling in the arms and legs.
On your first visit to our office we will gather information necessary for treatment by asking you to fill out our new patient questionnaire. You will meet the staff and they will obtain copies of your drivers license and any insurance information that you might have. After meeting Dr. Lynes he will perform an examination consisting of over 80 different orthopedic tests to determine the cause and severity of your problem.
If you answer yes to even just one of these questions, then yes, you would benefit from regular massage. These are just a few of the problems that people have that massage can help with. Great staff and doctor. I'm sure they can only do so much with spine injuries depending on the individual but I was personally amazed at the relief I had on my first visit. I've never been to a chiropractor before and the overwhelming euphoria my body experienced today after treatment and feeling better was worth every penny. I've never been more excited to go back to a doctors office LOL. Thank you so much!

I've been coming to Austin Lake Chiropractic since May, and I feel great! I've been receiving chiropractic care off and on for the last 20 years, but I've never felt like the treatment was tailored specifically to my needs. Dr Lynes really listens to my comments and concerns, and for the first time I truly feel that I'm on the road to complete health! Dr. Lynes cares about his patients total health not just your adjustment. He spends time with you, asking questions and offering solutions. He's wonderful with children from infants to young adults. The staff is professional, courteous and always make you feel welcome when you walk through the door! My wife and I came to Austin Lake Chiropractic on the recommendation of a friend. We had been experiencing some aggravating pain issues that were awaking us at night. After the first treatments our pain began to subside, we are in our 3rd week and feel great. We love Austin Lake Chiro. They've helped us through sickness, sports injuries and continued over all wellness. They offer a great kids day program once a month with $10 adjustments which is a huge perk when your deductible isn't met. The office staff is always friendly and helpful. It's also easy to get an appointment! We feel better after coming in. Highly recommend.

I have had a great experience at Austin Lake Chiropractic. They have been very friendly and helpful. They are always willing to take the time to answer question you may have about your health or insurance. The Doctor uses a device call an activator that does not require him to smash all your joints and bones around. The Doctor, thru skill and training can adjust a single vertebra instead of three the conventional way.
I know this works because I was able to feel a difference in my lower back afterwords. And though it may seem strange, the Doctor, needs you to move your arms into different positions while measuring the length of your legs in relativity to each other in order to find the location of the miss aligned joints. If you ask I'm sure the staff at Austin Lake Chiropractic would be more than happy to explain. I would also like to add that the price has been very reasonable. All in all this is a great chiropractic practice and I hope you will give them a try.
