Dr. Starns moved to Pittsboro in 2005 to open his practice. He is originally from Vermilion County on the Indiana/Illinois border. At the age of 16, he decided to pursue chiropractic medicine with the intent to open a practice in the Brownsburg area. Education: Graduated from Bob Jones University with honors in Biology/Chemistry.
Doctors of Chiropractic are licensed in the state of Indiana to treat any musculoskeletal condition. Shockwave therapy utilizes pressure waves or "shock waves" to provide relief for various musculoskeletal conditions. It offers restorative treatment, and not just pain relief. It is an acoustic wave that carries high energy to injured areas of the body.
Payment is expected at the time of treatment by cash, check, or HSA/debit card unless other arrangements are made in advance. We do not accept credit card payment. Patients who pay in full at the time of service will receive a 10%-15% discount. Financial assistance is available to those with demonstrable hardship.

Dr. Starnes is great! I had a really warped view on what a chiropractor should be until I came to Dr. Starnes. He had me come in a hadnfull of days over 2-3 weeks and I was cured! He is a great Dr. who knows what he's doing and is a really great guy. His mother at the front desk I think keeps him grounded as she describes him as "genius!" They are a great duo and I enjoyed my visits.
You can actually feel it working to. He will say "hey try to lift this legs as much as possible" and I would lift it and barely be able to. Then badda bing! He would do his thing, tell me to lift it again and it felt like 20 lbs had been lifted off my leg because I could smoothly lift it higher with no pain! Dr. Starnes is a miracle worker and I would highly suggest that you give him a visit if you have back pain. A lot of people dont believe in chiropractors, but he is the real deal. It is a great holistic approach to back pain that, in my case, really worked out well!
