Although sometimes straightforward, diagnosing and testing for food allergies is often more difficult than patients imagine. Clear communication is essential. If you do not speak or understand English well, please consider bringing a family member or friend to come with you to translate. Dr. Binkley is an Associate Professor, Department of Medicine, University of Toronto in the Division of Clinical Immunology and Allergy. She is on staff at St. Michael's Hospital and Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre's Drug Safety Clinic.
Services
Helpful and friendly, Ms. Linda Yee has been my office assistant and an asset to my practice since 2003. She will help you schedule your appointments, laboratory investigations, and referrals to other physicians, as needed. If you feel that you need to be seen on an urgent basis or reschedule an appointment, she will do her best to accommodate you.
We respect our patients' time and are committed to staying on schedule as much as possible, but we need your help and understanding. We encourage our patients to arrive at least 10 minutes early for their appointment to take time for registration. You should consider allowing extra travel time for traffic and TTC delays, especially if you are coming at rush hour, and for finding your way, if it is your first visit, and you are unfamiliar with our location.If traveling by car, there is a Green P parking lot beneath our building, that is accessed by traveling west on St. Clair from Yonge Street.
I felt compelled to drop you a short note of thanks and appreciation. In all of my 68 years never have I experienced what I felt on Monday. I enjoyed my visit with a doctor, a specialist, no less. I waited only a few minutes after my specified appointment when you opened the door and welcomed me to your office.

Rudest person I have ever met in my life. She asked questions and interrupted the answer over and over again. She got mad at me when she didn't understand what I had said because she had interrupted. She constantly cut me off. She spoke way too quickly. She told me to write something down and then rushed through the information. She doesn't listen or communicate well.

She did not show any kindness, patience, or caring. She should really fix her attitude, it's horrible. Considering I'm not the only one saying this in the comments, I think that's pretty clear.

I would leave a zero star if I could I had a horrendous experience with Dr Binkley today, I couldn't have left any more disappointed in treatment I received by her. Her conversion and tone was simply rude, unhelpful, inattentive and in any way and unmannerly. Dr Binkley is a passive aggressive and negligent doctor. I'm honestly disgusted by her handling of a procedure, she seemed doesn't really care about my concerns and didn't give me clear answers. I wish I know how can I escalate this issue

My worst experience i had ever in my life. Dr binkley was extremely rude and she gets very angry when i asked her a questions. She just want to finish as soon as she can. She was totally not respecting me and cutting me every time I speak. She mentioned that there was a language barrier which I believe is the same explanation she gave to everyone from what im reading here

Had to give 1 star to leave a review, otherwise would have given a zero rating. The doctor is cold and unfriendly, got very angry at my unvaccinated status and talked about how I wouldn't be able to get in person allergy tested because my unvaccinated status puts everyone else in the clinic at risk. I have an autoimmune disease and she did ask me about that and document it before getting angry with me.

She then told me I could be allergic to latex despite me saying it's not possible, I wear latex gloves at work every day! This doctor is not very observant and seemed to allow my vaccine status to cloud her mind and judgment. VERY unprofessional! DO NOT RECOMMEND! Worst specialist I have seen to date!

Was referred by my family doctor and ended up being disappointed with the services. She doesn't take the time to listen to your problems and rushes to diagnose without understanding completely. Completely unresponsive via phone. They don't have an email (!). Left voicemails to no avail. Impossible to get in touch with even if your need is urgent. Would not recommend at all.

Dr. Binkly deserves 0 stars. One of the rudest, most unprofessional medical practitioner I've ever spoken to. Stay clear from her. She doesn't care and misdiagnoses. I don't even know why or how she still practices. Way better Allergists/Immunologists out there. She won't heal but rather make you more sick! Stay clear from her!

Unprofessional, irresponsible, extremely rude. I had a phone appointment with her. She started our appointment complaining about her staff and how they messed up her schedule. Then she said she did not have my referral letter or my file because she was working remotely. She asked me why I have an appointment with her. I started to explain. She was condescending, constantly cut me off, and was irritated.

It was obvious she did not care to listen or read about my health history before diagnosing. At the end of our appointment I told her she was unprofessional and irresponsible as a person and especially as a health professional. She called me back 5 minutes later and left a message. Miraculously she NOW found my file and justified herself. She is dangerous. her lack of care in a health professional role could cause a lot of harm. I cannot call her a doctor.

Had an allergy assessment on the phone. She called 45 minutes late, didn't apologize and spoke to me like I was wasting her time. She was rude and beyond patronizing. The woman clearly has anger issues and is extremely unprofessional.

Had a really terrible experience with a phone appointment. Dr. Binkley was very unpleasant and left no time for discussion. After telling me she wouldn't take questions until the end, there was still much that I did not understand. Questions weren't really answered, and the experience was very patronizing overall.

I just saw this doctor at Sunny brook Hospital! She is a very rude person! You feel like she is forced to practice as a doctor! She is very impatient and wants to finish your appointment as early as possible. If you don't understand her words and you ask her to explain, she gets angry! I have allergy to antibiotics and I was wondering if she could find a different family of that medication which I might not have allergy to it.

She said we do not predict! We only test the medication you have already used and you have allergy to it. If I already test those medication and I know I have allergy to them why she wants to test? Her answer was maybe that allergy was not because of medication at the time you had it. This is a funny answer! I know the reaction I have to this medication for more than 20 years. at the end, she didn't let me to book an appointment to continue my allergy test because She was feeling that I am not satisfied by her explanation and I might cancel my appointment.

I went to the reception and I said I want to book an appointment but she told the receptionist to not book her! Crazy. Do not see this doctor! Seeing her is Wasting your time.
