At age 14 I hurt my neck doing squats. The bar rolled onto my neck area and I felt a "pop". I did not have pain at first but after I finished working out I started to have a headache and felt numbness down my arm. Several days went by and the migraine got worst, burning pain going down my right and left arm and my neck pain increased.
Chiropractic Family Health Center is located in Aiea and offers chiropractic services to those in Aiea, Pearl City and surrounding communities. Our goal is to help you feel good again without the use of pain medications or invasive surgery. To achieve that goal, we implement a holistic and multi-faceted treatment plan for optimal recovery.
I started chiropractic's to better my posture, here we are 4 months later and I feel great and my posture is better than it has ever been, thank you Dr. Kurihara! I started to get my body and mind healthy, I also had some back pain and sciatica. Chiropractic's has helped me get rid of my back pain and have not had a reoccurrence of sciatica, Dr. Kurihara and his staff are AWESOME.

Since I been going to this place my understanding of health has increased. Self care, stretching, workouts, sleep and even nutrition all play a part in my recovery. You go to the doctor to get fixed but you need to maintain good health to not stay broken. My chronic back issues and flare ups have subsided significantly after investing into myself in a consistent program. My wife, Angie, and I have been patients of the Chiropractic Family Health Center for more than three years. We both have chronic low back pain and sciatica caused by years of degenerative changes in our lumbar spine. We love Dr. Kurihara and rely on him to keep our back pain under very good control. Although we take medication to control the sciatica and do daily stretching and strengthening exercises at home, Dr. Kurihara's weekly treatments are a critical part of our pain management regimen.
When we're forced to miss appointments like when we go on a trip, our back pain starts to return, which confirms for us how effective his care is in keeping our backs healthy and strong.
