Ferdinand was amazing. I have been getting regular massages for a couple months now, but nothing has compared to what he was able to do in an hour. He really knows us stuff, and I could tell from his work that he was an experienced Physical Therapist with a deep knowledge of the muscles and bones and how the body operates, and what is tight and why.
I was a little apprehensive reading some of the reviews here, but now that I've been I can understand that it is just that Ferdinand is a strong massage therapist. He will definitely apply lots of pressure if you have deep knots. Some people don't like deep massages, and if you are looking for more shiatsu style, you should go elsewhere. But I want really deep massages.
He really gets in there. Which I LOVE. This is quite far from me but well worth the trek. I came here via Groupon and will be getting a 10 pack despite the fact that I live in the City. Really does not compare to the massages I've been getting elsewhere in Sam Francisco.
