I have gone 25 years with a misdiagnosed back. 1 digital x-ray, a caring staff, and an amazing Dr later. And I can joyfully say with confidence I have NEVER felt or moved better! I'm extremely thankful for 1st Step and their AMAZING patient care!

A truly great chiropractic experience! My adjustments have alleviated my pain from a 10 to almost a 1. The SoftWave treatments helped bunches also.

I came back from a hellish pain to heaven with only one time chiropractic adjustment by Dr. Carl. I live in MN, after a second day on road with 6-hr driving trip, as soon as we arrived in Dallas, my left side head started a excruciating pain. The pains (back neck and headaches) increased and extended overnight. The horrible pains made me ended up in ER the next morning.

After the ER doctor's exam, I got CT scan, pain reducer shot, nausea shot, Imitrex injection and went home with two prescriptions. One of them is Tramadol (narcotic). All treatments from ER did not stop the burning, sharp pains on my head and additional, one Tramadol causes the worst side effect with vomiting! I suffered the second night with head pain, drowsiness and nausea! Overnight, I decided to look for a chiropractor in Rowlett instead of taking a flight back to my hometown.

Thanks God, I found First Step Chiropractic; 3538 Lakeview Parkway; from the internet. In the initial exam, I got xRays and got to learn all problems that cause the pains. Dr. Carl explained the causes and adjusted the neck & head pain right away! Amazing, all terrible pains that I had suffered for two and a half days & nights were gone with just one treatment.

I can't express my gratitude enough from what Dr. Carl (with Dr. Fowler) have treated the horrible head and neck pains from the first place. I also appreciate the professional and skillful staff that help me arrange and set up all steps of the treatments. Dr. Carl is truly a remarkable and professional that I respect and trust.

I am a Senior citizen who has lived and travelled on several continents. I have not encountered a practice anywhere, with such an apparent degree of Professional competence in their field of practice, equalled by an unsurpassed level of courtesy, ethics, and integrity. Dr. Fowler, his team of colleagues and entire compliment of personnel bring an exemplary light which might be an inspiration to many.

I've always had slight back pain since doing sports but didn't think anything of it until I graduated and got older. I went here since it was close and my father had gone here. They are AWESOME! Super nice staff and the doctors are nice. Dr. Phillips is good and very gentle especially when it was my first adjustment ever, he slowly explained what he was going to do and went easy.

I've brought my husband here as well due to severe lower back pain and after 3 weeks he's almost 100% back to normal and wants to keep coming even after his treatments are done. The adjustments help with pain, give a boost if energy, help with headaches, and even help with digestion! Definitely recommend this place.

I came in with concerns regarding headaches and vertigo, after the first adjustment I felt so much better and decided that regular visits was in my best interest. Preventative measures makes sense to me and I determined to stay proactive, minimize the effects of aging. I am a happy patient, very pleased with the service I receive.

This chiro team is beyond awesome. not only does my body feel like one billion bucks, but the doctors in addition to the entire staff are amazing. In all areas necessary such as customer service, great positive helpful energy, and knowledge about the body they are on point! I had a very pleasant experience with all chiropractic staff. I am so very grateful for Dr. Espinosa in basically fixing all the migraines I was having and improving my overall quality of life!

I have had a great experience! Everyone here is so welcoming and friendly. I will take the warm up exercises with me and add them to my daily routine. You never know how important spine care is until you pull a muscle in your back. I now have more energy and less pain which makes me comfortable working out again.

I first went to First Step in 2017 after a car wreck, but wasn't able to continue going due to schedule, but even with that time gap so many people in the office still remembered me. It made me feel welcome and like they really cared for me.

Dr. Espinosa has been wonderful. After having children and getting older I realized that I needed to be healthier not only for my children but for myself. Before I started coming to First Step was having constant back pain. I was barely sleeping. Not only am I now able to sleep a solid 7 hours, my back no longer hurts and I can get on the ground and wrestle around with my boys. Getting adjustments was the best thing that I did for myself.

If you are looking for a great chiropractor that is affordable and knows what they are doing, look no further. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable making the process super easy. I am usually in and out within 30 minutes making it easy to go on lunch. The scheduling process is also very flexible which is a plus as well!

My care has been amazing and I have learned so much about my spinal care beyond adjustments. Dr. Fowler and his staff have taken every opportunity to answer any question I had regarding my care. From exercises to stretching to strength building it was all there. I am so grateful.
