Dr. Kimberly Cowdrick was born and raised in Western New York and resides in Eden. She received her Doctorate of Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls, NY and is a Board Certified Chiropractor in the State of New York. Dr. Cowdrick continues to attend educational classes to improve herself and to ensure the best treatment for her patients. She will treat you as a whole person through chiropractic adjustments, nutrition, exercise and wellness education to help facilitate your recovery.
Chiropractic Care: The adjustment usually involves a quick thrust to create motion to a joint that is "locked up", fixated or moving incorrectly. The doctor may use her hands (Diversified technique), or a special table that flexes, extends, bends side to side and is used for drop work. Computerized Foot Scan: ability to see if you are supinated (high arch), pronated (low arch) or properly supported.
Chiropractors do not treat any disease, condition or pain but rather locate and correct spinal subluxations. A subluxation occurs when one or more of the moving bones of the spine misalign resulting in damaging nerve pressure and can interfere with nerve signals. Your nervous system controls and coordinates all the functions of your body.
