1 start is for lack of transparency. Beware that if you are someone who is looking for chiropractor to get some adjustment done right away to relive the pain, looks else where. I went in with extreme pain and expected to get some adjustment and relief after my visit. Even when I mentioned about extreme pain and asking for adjustment, they took x-rays and send me away on day1 and booked appointment for day2.

I taught he may perform adjustment on day2, but instead he started explaining the things from xrays and tried to lure me into singing up for long term plans. I walked out without singing up anything. Then I booked appointment with another chiropractor and he took care of my issue right away in first visit. I and my current Chiropractor both agreed that this is not the way how to treat people coming into your office with pain. Dr. Slak should be transparent and give patients options before starting anything. I was slapped with huge bill and at the end after two visits I didn't get single bone adjusted at this place.

If it weren't for Dr. Jean-Marc Slak, DC I would not be playing golf three or four times a week. He keeps my body aligned so I don't have back strain, which was due to a major lower back operation I had nine years ago. Very grateful and I am near-perfect!

The practice is a well oiled machine which has never had me waiting a minute, You conveniently check in by entering four numbers and Dr. JM Slak magically appears greeting you and ready to go with fun and interesting conversations all in less than 15 minutes. Dr. Linda Slak has dedicated her life to working with babies, children, and women. It says a lot about a folks when they deal with trying to heal the most delicate and precious beings.

I encourage folks to go onto the website and read more about these treatments and these exceptionally gifted practitioners. They will treat you as an individual human being and not a walking condition of pain! (or dare I say dollar signs that's so many medical practices tend to make patients feel). My son has seen Dr. Linda Slak for quite some time now. She is not only extremely thorough in her evaluation of his condition, but she makes him feel comfortable, which means the world to any parent. The office in Burlington is very welcoming. If you need ANY chiropractic services, this is this the place. Stop searching. You've found it.

Since going to Slak Chiropractic Group, in a very short amount of time migraines, sinus infections, neck/knee pain, digestive problems, neck pain, lack of focus and extreme lethargy have all improved tremendously with just a few adjustments. My posture has improved to a degree that I never thought possible, looking at the posters I would always see in doctors offices where your body progressively hunches over particularly due to technology we use these days.

I have been dealing with ulcerative colitis for years. Gastroenterologists trying all kinds of things with no relief. Mentioned to Dr. Slak and he gave me a set of specific adjustments for 6 weeks and ongoing. I went in for a colonoscopy and they found the colitis in remission!

I have been going to Dr. Jean-Marc and Dr. Linda for over 20 years for lower back problems. They are not only great people but they have unfailingly, time and time again helped me out when I had issues. As a result, I've never missed a day of work due to a back problem, never had a debilitating issue. And a year or more back my son had pain that prevented him from hiking or rock climbing.

He went to see Dr. Jean-Marc several times a week for a while. He is currently driving from Boston to Utah where he plans to do some serious hiking. And he remains pain-free. Having been to multiple chiropractor's in two other states my wife and I have found the Platinum level of care with Dr. Slak and the team. Always debated writing a review for this practice and decided against it, however after reading the reviews from 2015 and 2019 I feel as though it is necessary. I had the SAME exact experience as Cam J. Came to Dr. Slak with severe headaches at the base of the skull. Put me through multiple x-rays and asked a ton of questions. Returned the next day for him to paint a horrifying picture of how my neck looked but to not worry because he could fix it!

Also tried selling me on an expensive pillow because it would 'really make a difference'. Adjusted me that day with the gun, didn't do any manual adjustments because 'thats just not his style', and provided zero pain relief. And quoted me THOUSANDS of dollars. Thank god I backed out and didn't give into whatever scheme he is running.

I began going to Slak Chiropractic almost 2 years ago, while I was pregnant with my daughter. I liked their method of doing adjustments, as I feel that it was safer, during my pregnancy. I also wanted a place my daughter could receive care once she was born. Dr. Jean Marc and Dr. Linda have taken excellent care of me, and of my daughter since she was 12 days old. I can't recommend them more!

I was a devoted patient at Precision Chiropractic in Newburyport for several years. When we had to move to Concord, Dr Sean sent us to Slak Chiropractic, as he admires Dr Jean-Marc very much and considers him a mentor. My husband and I have been patients here for a year now, and as much as we miss Dr Sean, we know we are in superior care close to our new home.

I had a chiropractor break one of my ribs during an adjustment once, so I would never trust a "crack" doctor again. It's a surprising treatment in how gentle it seems, but this is what it is to be in precise and expert hands: no snapping necks, no cracks of the back, no fear, no surprises. We consider our adjustments fundamental to our health and comfort, and I've not been in pain for the last few years using this more gentle approach to chiro, and that's after a decade of unpredictable and chronic back problems.

Extremely informative but very excessive. It was recommended I go 3x a week for the next 3 months then review after that for more visits. My insurance only covers so much and it seems that that is no concern of theirs. My 1st appointment was all talk and x-rays then my 2nd appointment was mostly talk and they used an 'activator' tool which DID NOTHING I felt no relief and I have previously gone to a handful of chiropractors with immediate relief but not this time.

I am very disappointed and will not be returning. I understand everyone does things differently but the way they do things is not for me. I prefer good old fashion manipulation of the spine not a tool that gently pops you in the back and doesn't move anything back where it should be. I also got a couple different opinions who all disagreed with Dr slak and said they have not heard anything good about him!

I brought a copy of my x-rays to my other appointments. the x-rays that dr. Slak took. There are only 3 out of about 15 that are useable! and the other chiropractors said I already have enough radiation in my system from Dr slak for a year and it is not safe for them to retake them! Therefore they have to work with the bad x rays that dr slak took!

The other doctors also did not understand why dr. Slak took so many. the only thing I can assume is that he wanted to get as big of a check from my insurance company ad possible so he disregarded the danger aspect if radiation and desided to pad his pockets instead of think of the well being of his patient. DO NOT GO TO THIS LYING CHEATING MANIPULATIVE EXCUSE FOR A DOCTOR! I WILL BE FIALING A REPORT AGAINST THIS OFFICE!

As a new patient I'm very satisfied with the service I've received. As someone who has been burned by another chiropractor in the past, Dr. Slak does a great job of explaining his process and keeping me informed of what he's doing.

It can be very stressful to be traveling away from home, in need of medical treatment and having to find a new health practitioner without the benefit of a local credible referral. That's exactly what happened to me when I was in Burlington, MA recently on a business trip and suffering from severe acute back pain. The pain started with a skiing injury and had become progressively worse over a 10 day period from the combination of several long car rides, a cross country plane trip and several nights sleeping in hotel beds.

I couldn't stand the pain any longer and found Slak Chiropratic Group using Yelp and gave them a call to ask if they had any openings. They gave me an appointment right away, delaying their lunch break to accommodate me because I was in such pain. Within a few minutes after arriving at the office and completing the new patient forms I was in the exam room. Dr. Jean-Marc was exceptionally effective and quickly diagnosed my condition and began to treat me and relieve my pain.

He has a very relaxing demeanor and I was impressed with his knowledge. At the end of my session, my pain had diminished considerably and Dr. Jean-Marc gave me some additional recommendations to get me through the last day of my business trip until I could see my regular Chiropractor back home. I had a great experience because of the combination of great service and effective treatment. I travel frequently to the Burlington area and will definitely return.

I've been going to Slak for several years. Drs. Jean-Marc & Linda provide excellent service and do a great job. Dr Linda has worked with me to improve the strength & mobility in my hand through regular adjustments and exercises. The treatment and exercises have worked.
