Howard Austrager is a Board Certified Chiropractic Neurologist treating people involved in auto accidents since 2000. Neck pain can be caused by irritation, inflammation, injury, or infection. Pain in the neck, shoulder, hand, or head "most" frequently results from irritation of cervical nerve roots in the region of the intervertebral foramen, encroachment of the vascular supply as it courses through the vertebral canal, or invasion of the cord in the spinal canal.
Simply stated, sciatica is pain, tingling, or numbness in the lower back, buttocks, and/or legs that are produced when there is irritation of the sciatic nerve. The sciatic nerve is formed by a number of nerve roots that branch off of the spinal cord in the lumbar spine. The sciatic nerve travels down through the buttocks, under the piriformis muscle and down the back of the legs to the ankle and foot.

I had a car accident and my doctor suggested surgery due to the pain i had. I was so desperate to try anything before surgery. I ended up with metrowest spine clinic. My son was also in the car we both used the services Dr. Austrager God bless him. He assured me that it will take time but I will get better. Great place for chiro treatment. Dr Howard Austrager has helped me with my vertigo and neck pain when I felt hopeless and thought resorting to medications would be my only cure. I have been dealing with chronic pain in my neck and shoulders as a result of my time in the Marine Corps and Playing hockey. Had a few bad concussions that had me in rough shape. Dr. Austrager knew exactly what was going on with my body and gave me the works. Pain that has been in my body for years is gone. Feel like a million bucks. Dr. Howard really helped me with my back. I have suffered from back pain ever since I got pregnant with my child. For almost 10 years! I'm not even 35! I even had to go sent to the ER once because I hurt my back bedding down and couldn't move.regular doctors would only prescribed Voltaren in pill, muscle relaxant and other drugs to deal with the pain. One day I went in with my whole body cracking and I came out with it! I can even lift things now!
