I didn't always want to be a massage therapist. As a child, I thought my love of animals would lead to a career as a veterinarian. In high school my love of hunting, fishing, camping, and hiking had me considering a career as a park ranger. After changing my major twice in college and being unsure of where my true passion lay, I decided to take a year off, save up some money, and refocus myself on the future.

Dr. Pickens has helped me control my migraines and all over pain! I had migraines a few times a week now they are a few tim a year and usually its because i went too long in between adjustments! I had separated my shoulder (ac process) and it was better in about a month! He seriously is a miracle worker! Worth every penny I have spent! Thanks Dr. Pickens!

Dr Pickens and his wife Nancy, nutritionist, have helped me and my family through countless ailments and allergies through the past few decades! We take our babies in, our spouses and kids in-we love them like family! They're quick to respond to emails, and even send birthday cards-you can't go wrong with ABA!

I have been a patient at ABA for several months now and I must say, I haven't felt better in a long time. Doc Pickens is fixing my spine, which didn't seem possible without surgery according to my old chiropractor (who will remain nameless), and my once chronic headaches are gone. Also, Nancy Pickens has been a huge blessing to me because she is very knowledgeable in nutrition and it seems like just about everything else health-related, so she's been helping my husband out significantly with his issues, which is wonderful.
They also sell supplements there so you don't have to trek across town to get what you need. Actually, the whole staff pretty much rocks, so I would definitely tell anyone that wants to improve their overall health with a safe and natural (and EFFECTIVE) approach, to get in there ASAP.

I'm very happy to have found out about Dr. Pickens and I'm hopeful that he will be able to help me eliminate my allergies. He seems to be very knowledgeable. I was seeing a different NAET practitioner in Ann Arbor, but I like that Dr. Pickens is willing to address the worst allergies instead of following the NAET workbook, which treats lesser allergies before it ever gets to the stuff that's really bothering me.
