When the thyroid isn't functioning right (too little, too much, autoimmune) the solution shouldn't be "Let's give you some synthetic prescription." The proper response should be How can we get the thyroid functioning properly? What is inhibiting this gland from doing it's job? Dr. Berglund's first goal is to normalize your body's own systems. Once the thyroid is put back in charge, it can do a better job of repair, temperature regulation, metabolism, and burning sugar/fat. Dr. Berglund teaches patients that their adrenal glands are like an emergency account.

The Thyroid is one of the largest endocrine glands, its primary function is to secrete hormones. By means of these hormones, the thyroid controls the body's metabolism, creates proteins, and sensitizes the body to other hormones. The thyroid hormones are essential for nerve development, sexual development, and physical growth as well as for regulating the metabolic rate, body heat, and energy level.
Hyperthyroidism: An overactive thyroid can be a very serious condition. For that reason, many people are easily convinced by their doctor that they should have their thyroid removed or irradiated (destroyed). The concern typically relayed is as follows: "But, doctor, don't I need my thyroid?".which is typically followed up with, "Don't worry.
Does this sound like you? Not to worry. Chances are, even if your TSH was "normal", you could still be hypothyroid. You see, in the world of thyroid function, lab tests can lie. You got it - you were right all along. Dr. Berglund has treated countless hypothyroid patients who were "passed over" by the medical system.
Heart Disease: Heart disease is the number one cause of death in the United States, resulting in at least 1.5 million heart attacks a year and claiming over 489,000 lives. Medical treatment primarily consists of pharmaceutically controlling high blood pressure, prescribing cholesterol-lowering drugs, and utilizing procedures like balloon angioplasty (and the use of stents to keep the vessels open) and coronary bypass. The challenge with the modern medical approach is that it doesn't deal with the cause of the problem.

Worst venue experience of my life. First of all the center scheduled 2 events at the same time and there was no parking at the center. They sent us a half a miles away in below freezing weather. Making us stand outside waiting for a shuttle for an hour and a half. We just made it for the start of the show. Second when the show was over instead of letting the crowd use the 4 exits, they forced the whole crowd through one door while blocking all the other exits just to stand in line for the shuttle again while both events let out at the same time.
I don't expect to return to this place after this experience. Oh, and ladies, don't expect to bring your purses. They turned people away with purses, to send them back out in the cold if they had them. Horrible treatment of paying customers. I don't recommend this venue.

Went to the Burt Kreischer show and while that portion of it was amazing lol, the Berglund Center was not. Parking was limited due to a hockey game going on and the first show being behind. And while we entered, those other two events ended. So there was alot of chaos there. When we entered, the areas had tons of people confused on where their actual seating was, and we all basically had to play detective and search for clues lol. Then, I waited so long for drinks that I missed the entire opener, why would they have 1 bar with 2 servers for an event like this?
And one of the servers, bless her heart, was so slow. But she was a total sweetheart. Not to mention, a two drink limit. So while I wanted to double fist some beer, I had to sacrifice and get a drink for the misses since she was waiting on me for what seemed to be FOREVER. Outside of that, the actual place isn't too bad. But it felt like a movie theater when they're closing and a couple people are there to help out. And you just gotta wing it.

We recently attended the Bert Kriescher show and this venue was so poorly ran I don't even know where to begin. It took us about 20 minutes to go.5 miles because of the traffic only to be told when we finally got there we had to prepay for the parking.(It didn't say anywhere we couldn't pay at the venue). So I dropped everyone off and had to park blocks away and walk back.
My sister wasn't allowed to bring her purse in it was too big(this was not a big purse). She literally had to hide it outside somewhere for the duration of the show. Beer lines were so long and slow we couldn't get drinks. No staff there to help you find seats. Just a mess.

The center and employees for the event were great. But the event started late with too many intro acts. I left in the middle of Katt Williams act. Sitting in those uncomfortable floor seat chairs too long. It was 7 ppl before him that we didnt pay to see. I understand intro acts but wow. And only 3 of those acts were funny. That was wasted money. I don't think ill be doing that again.

We purchased 4 tickets for the Billy Idol concert but then 2 of us came down with covid and all four of us were quarantined. We notified eTix and the Berglund Center 7 days before the concert but we heard nothing from them till 7 days after. They refused to offer us a refund or even a credit toward a future event. The Berglund front desk lady rudely informed us that our only option was to attend with the virus.
This is not a safe or family friendly policy. Be aware that you may be surrounded with contagious people who just don't want to lose their money. Not safe and not family friendly.
