Absolutely love Dr. Jill! We were referred to chiropractic care for my son by his OT doctor as he had torticollis. Dr. Jill did a great job of explaining every adjustment and stretch to make us feel comfortable. She was great with my son and her adjustments/stretches saved him from needing a helmet. Highly recommend her!

I wound up with a rib out and went to this clinic. The receptionist was short with me throughout my visit. Saw one of the doctors who agreed I had a rib out, attempted to adjust me 3 times and said "I'm sorry I just can't get it", then sent me upstairs to pay $94! Apparently I got to pay for a physical that was not performed in the 9 minutes I was there.
I did fill out my medical history so maybe they charged me for filling that out for them. My normal chiropractor would have attempted to loosen the muscles with heat, massage or something. Not here. Will not be back!

The staff and chiropractors are all very nice. Unfortunately, I don't know what I expected since this was my first time at a chiropractor. Even with good insurance, the treatments are expensive. Most of them consisted of a drop table getting used once or twice, and then I was out of there. The two hour evaluation for a 2-3 minute placebo once a month just wasn't doing it for me. I just paid off my last statement, and now I'm done for good. Just go and exercise. You will feel much better building muscle naturally.

Dr. Phil is hands down the best chiropractor I have ever been to. I have a highly physical job that takes a toll on my body. But thanks to Dr. Phil I deal with less pain and feel better overall. Regular adjustments keep my body in tiptop condition. Besides being highly skilled, Dr. Phil is tremendously knowledgeable, compassionate, and personable. I would recommend his work to anyone.

When I jacked up my neck a while back, I was in dire need of chiropractic services for the first time in my life. After speaking with a number of my neighbors, I decided to see Dr Jill Mikkelson in the Waunakee office of Bakke Chiropractic. And I'm so glad I did. After just a couple of visits, I went from looking like an eighty year hunchback to my usual chipper self.
As a first time patient, Dr. Mikkelson did a great of diagnosing the problem and explaining the proposed treatment. She also discussed posture improvements and adjustments to my home office set-up to prevent the neck problems from re-occurring. The office staff is very friendly and efficient. Making the appointment was a snap and the insurance paperwork was handled without a problem. Should I need to make a future visit to the chiropractor, I won't hesitate to return to Dr. Mikkelson.

Dr. Jen Waldsmith is the best! She is so nice and honest. I had some issues with my alignment, one shoulder was higher than the other. It was an issue with my hips. She got me realigned and She does such a great job. I'm always relaxed and comfortable and she listens. She asks the right questions and we went from there. She's simply the best.
The reception staff is so nice and very helpful. This clinic accepts Dean HMO for insurance but not PPLUS! They do have same day appointments for $42 is you're paying out of pocket for services. I did get a massage here, I wasn't too fond of it. I was in so much pain afterwards but Dr. Jen makes up for it. If you're having back or neck pain, maybe even some balance issues, go see a chiropractor. The Bakke clinic has several locations around the Madison area or you could take my advice and come see Dr. Jen. She is simply delightful.
