Services
Downs Chiropractic strives to provide traditional chiropractic therapy in a patient-centered supportive and professional environment for the primary purpose of promoting better health for our patients. Finally, we embrace a holistic concept of wellness whereby supplementary services such as massage therapy, acupuncture, nutrition, dry needling, and exercise protocols are all readily available to optimize clinical results. This two-month indoctrination after graduation was a valuable experience. The next opportunity was at a multidisciplinary clinic in New York City.
If a prospective new patient wishes to meet with Dr. Downs to see if chiropractic treatment is suitable for them, or to just ask some questions about chiropractic care at our office, a free ten-minute consultation can be arranged. Simply call our office and tell the staff you are considering our clinic for therapy and would like to consult with the doctor.
Take East Main Street heading westbound and get on Route 4 west at the cubed/glass building near the bottom of East Main Street. Continue across the intersection with Main Street (Police Station will be on your right). Take next left, which is Prospect Street. Travel approximately.2 miles. The office is located on the corner of Clark Street and Prospect Street.
The changing landscape of healthcare has forced Downs Chiropractic to be selective about which insurance plans and third party payors we do business with. The sad reality is that various insurance carriers utilize subcontractors or third party administrators to handle chiropractic claims. Such plans are characterized by poor reimbursement to providers, or administrative paperwork burdens that are in place to effectively limit patient access.
