Dr. Rich Bakir graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa in March of 2002. Prior to attending Palmer he graduated with a B.S. from The University of Toledo in Toledo, Ohio. Dr. Bakir was born and raised in Ohio and has brought his mid-west upbringing and values into his practice. He is active in his community with such organiztions as Childhaven, Toys-For-Tots, and the Salvation Army. In his practice, he primarily uses what is known as Palmer Package adjusting which is done with the hands and includes Diversified, Gonstead, and Toggle Recoil adjusting.
Services
Every aspect of your body is controlled by your nervous system, including your overall health. The nervous system is protected by the spine, which is made up of 24 individual vertebrae. When those vertebrae misalign, called a "subluxation", problems can occur. Those problems show up in different ways for each individual.
Like every visit to a health professional you can expect to fill out some short paper work that details your current and most pressing health issues and any past injuries and health history. Once that is out of the way you will meet with Dr. Rich who will thoroughly discuss the reason(s) for your visit.

Dr. Rich is one of the best Dr.'s I have ever been to. The treatment starting from walking in the door to after you have been seen is professional, courteous and cost effective. I had never understood how good being in alignment could make you feel until I started to see him on a regular basis. Boy do I miss the weekly visits since I am across town from him now and it is hard to get to the office.

Great place to go and have an adjustment done. Rich is an outstanding Doc with a great persona that keeps you entertain. The entire staff makes you feel welcomed and part of the family. By far, the best place to go here in Las Vegas. Every time I leave after a session, I feel like a million bucks (just wish I had a million bucks).

I recently moved from Ireland to Las Vegas. Rich exceeded my expectations from any chiropractic work I had done there. He is personable, a great listener, great sense of humor, easy to talk to and above all else totally gifted at the work he does. I would recommend him and Excel Chiropractic in a heart beat. My husband hates going to any doctor and has chronic sciatica pain that has spread to legs and numbness in his feet and this doctor won us over completely! Not only did he give him his first relief in years, but Rich and his office staff made the whole experience so amazing. Best 20min ever! They really work with you on the copay and just made our day!
