Services
Dr. Lucas graduated from Palmer Chiropractic College in 1976 and began treating patients in the Mat-Su Valley in 1977. Known by his patients as "Doc", he is a family man and father of 6 children who have blessed him and his wife Diane with 26+ grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. When he is not treating patients he enjoys his time with family, attending church functions and weekends at his cabin in rural Alaska.
We specialize in correcting your body's misalignments. Our goal is to ensure that your spine and the rest of your body are working harmoniously. To do so, we will help you develop a plan that will require light stretching, some exercise, chiropractic care, and a healthy diet. Corrective exercises are the use of bodily movements and/or postures to restore desirable changes in diseased or injured tissues.
My son spent the first six weeks of his life screaming. He was in obvious pain, but the pediatrician said there was not much we could do for 'colic'. We tried everything from gas drops and gripe water to music and white noise. His belly was so hard we probably could have bounced a quarter off of it.
We want to see all our patients attain and maintain a level of wellness care. This is when your body is fully healed and only needing maintenance adjustments. It is still recommended to come in for periodic adjustments to keep things running smoothly. This requires a quick visit 1-4 times per month based on your lifestyle and goals.

This was a long overdue visit! I have not had an adjustment since my bout with Covid Dec 2020! I am so glad I found the time! Dr. Lucas is an amazing Chiropractor! The adjustment FIXED several issues I was having. ONE of them I noticed this morning. I'm positive this had to do with finally getting EVERYTHING aligned. I CAN finally smell my coffee this morning! Also, my nasal passages have been draining since the adjustment.
My neck can turn right and left with ease! The neuropathy in my toes is not there this morning! I swear this guy is a miracle worker! I'm THRILLED to be back in Alaska and Dr Lucas!

Absolutely amazing experience! Wonderful atmosphere with a team of professionals that are so welcoming. I've been to other chiropractors before and nothing compares to the care and efficiency you'll receive here. Dr. Lucas worked wonders for my tailbone and sciatic and neck pain in a matter of minutes. First experience going to a Chiropractor and it has been a great one. I have gone 3 times this week and each time I get the best customer service from everyone there. I've had lingering back pain for the past 7 years but after an different pain hit me while putting on my socks last Saturday (6 days ago) I knew I needed help. I feel much much better and appreciate the progress I'm making.

Great Alaskan business. DR. Is quick caring and loaded full of knowledge. Cant speak highly enough of the whole team. As soon as you step foot in the door you are treated as family. Its no wonder thia Man has been in practice serving our community for so long. My family and pets will be back anytime it is needed.

This clinic comes highly recommended. When I was recommended to this clinic I didn't know what to expect. The staff were all amazing and very helpful. The first time I saw Doc Lucas I told him my neck was getting hard to hold up my head. I also told him that I have a rare form of Rheumatoid Arthritis. Doc fixed all my issues that day and assessed me. Looking at my x-Ray, He told me if I could give him a solid 4 years I could probably reduce my arthritis meds.
He stated that it wouldn't be easy but it would be worth it. Boy was it! I have been completely off all medications and shots and I have always looked forward to seeing everyone at the clinic. I am so thankful for Doc and his staff. Here's to 8 years and hopefully another 50 more.
