Please allow me to introduce myself. I am Dr. Andy Schmitz. I am a Chiropractor in East Greenwich, RI and have been practicing Chiropractic since 1997. I have a family practice with a focus on pregnancy and pediatrics, as well as a focus in sports medicine. Focusing my care in these areas allows me to not only to fulfill both my passions (children and sports) but to help a variety of patients.
Chiropractic is a form of healthcare that utilizes the understanding that the body's structure and function work together. This means that if there is a problem with your muscles, ligaments, or vertebrae (structure), it will affect the other systems in your body (function). This can present as a variety of symptoms such as pain, fatigue, lack of mobility, and illness.
Sports medicine deals with physical fitness, and the treatment and prevention of injuries related to sports and exercise. Receiving preventative and corrective chiropractic care, along with proper healthcare education, can give you a longer, healthier and more active lifestyle. Whether you are a weekend athlete or a seasoned professional, there are a few things that all athletes have in common.
Chiropractic care is safe and effective throughout pregnancy. The techniques used are specifically designed to meet the needs of a pregnant woman's body, and are very gentle and low force. During pregnancy, there are several structural and physiological changes that occur in preparation for creating the environment for the developing baby.

A great Chiropractor and staff that truly bring compassionate care. A very friendly environment and family type atmosphere. The Schmitz Chiropractic practice is fantastic! They offer a variety of services, including a digital Xray to provide personalized treatment. I personally get an alignment, estim and massage therapy. Dr. Mark & Dr. Kyle are knowledgeable, very kind and take time to get to know their patients. They are very punctual with their appointments, although this is a very busy practice, I have not waited in the lobby for extended period of time. The front desk staff is very friendly and welcoming. I have been going to them for several months and am extremely happy with the care I have received.

BEST Chiropractors ever! Dr Kyle and Dr Mark are kind, compassionate Drs who really listen to your concerns and do everything they can to help! The massage therapist are all great! And the front staff is awesome! Nicest people you'll ever meet! You definitely leave the office feeling better than when you walked in!

They are dedicated to quality care, patient well-being, and they are incredibly well priced (while also communicating well regarding insurance). Nothing beats their in depth analysis of your current condition and their personalized treatment plans. Their entire staff is eager to help and it is just an all around awesome place.
