Did you know that chiropractic dates back to the time of Hippocrates? He believed that if the spine was misaligned, it greatly contributed to the health of an individual. The modern day school of chiropractic dates back to 1895, when Dr. Daniel Palmer adjusted a man that had lost his hearing 17 years prior.
The purpose of our office is to glorify God by using chiropractic to help our patients obtain and maintain optimal health. The doctors are dedicated to improving your health and performance. A thorough history and careful examination will determine if chiropractic can benefit you. In addition, the doctors will help you regain strength and endurance by using physical therapy (electrical stimulation, exercises, rehabilitation, stretches, and strengthening) and on call massage therapy if needed.The doctors are also trained to ensure you are getting the most from your exercise regimens, diet, nutritional supplements, vitamins, and orthotic supports.
What should I expect on the first visit? Our friendly staff will greet you and have you fill out a brief questionnaire. Next a thorough history and examination will be performed to find out if you indeed have a chiropractic problem. If the doctor feels he can help you, then treatment will begin ASAP.

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. This place is a total scam and left me with HUNDREDS of dollars in bills. I changed insurance companies and contacted my insurance provider for Chiropractor recommendations in the area - they provided me with a list and Polaris Family and Sport Chiropractic was closest to my house. After arriving for my first visit, I was told they would not adjust me or do anything without an X-Ray. So, they provided me with an X-Ray script, directions to a facility for the images, and told me that the X-Rays would cost $75/area (I was in need of images of 2 areas) or less with insurance.
I went to the facility and waited HOURS, (while still in pain), despite being the only patient there. The following day I returned with my X-Rays and before being adjusted, the doctor asked if he could PRAY over me. Although I am a person of faith, I felt extremely uncomfortable and consider such a request to be inappropriate for a client serving "professional".
After being adjusted, I was told I would need to return four days/week for a month and could taper down to 3 days, 2 days, etc. I was provided the opportunity to pay for all of these appointments up front, but when being provided with an estimate of THOUSANDS, I told them I would have to call back and schedule as I knew it was a total scam. A few weeks following my appointment, I received a bill for the extras for HUNDREDS of dollars, called the office to discuss it with them as I was told it would be no more than $150 total, and they told me I went to the wrong place and that it was my fault?
Which is quite literally impossible considering THEY TOLD ME WHERE TO GO and I was never told another place even EXISTED? They could not have been LESS apologetic and essentially told me to go kick rocks, leaving me with the costly bill and no remorse. If you do one thing after reading this review, PLEASE do not go to this facility. If you do, you'll end up paying a lot of money to waste your time and feel uncomfortable. You're better off literally ANYWHERE else.

Not recommend at all. I was not in a lot of pain on the first day but still they sent me to get the x-rays which was veryy costly by saying thay this is our process of treatment. They did three adjustments and now my pain has increased tremendously and not only that but also got the pain in 2 new places near my neck and this pain is more than my original pain.
They kept on telling me that they are working on fixing my spine and that will hurt initially, I wanted to fix my existing pain and instead of looking at it they were fixing something which is already in better shape. I don't recommend this place to anyone.

My experience at the Polaris Family & Sport Chiropractic has been excellent from day 1. They had me get an x-ray of what my spine looked like and then put a plan in place to correct what was going on. Dr. Huffer and Dr. Phillips were very helpful in their adjustments, treatments, and advice in getting my back and neck back to being pain free. I would highly recommend this practice. The friendliness of the staff working is an added bonus. I have been a patient for a little over a year and a half and I would recommend this place to anyone.

I first went to Polaris Family & Sport Chiropractic after falling and getting whiplash. I was sore and I did not want a chiropractor who was rough with their adjustments. They were careful, zoomed in on the problem areas and I was moving easily and walking taller in a few weeks. They've helped my sons with sports injuries as well. The office staff is so sweet and professional. They really take care of us!

My husband and I have been enjoying the excellent service of Dr. Huffer and team for about five years now. A lower back problem had him unable to walk without assistance. We started with daily visits for adjustments on his lower back which got him walking on his own! The office staff is friendly and very accommodating. They always manage to get us in on a moment's notice. They are all wonderful and we HIGHLY recommend the Polaris Family & Sport Chiropractic team!
